Hi!
This is A.Cornerstone, the author of Glorious.
I am so glad that you've stayed with me through all that was happening this year. All the time, I had the impression that I was running. First, my student's Honor's thesis (the first one I've mentored). Then, the green card petition, the first part, aka. goat. I'm not sure if the whole joke is politically correct but it involves buying a goat into a crowded apartment and then selling it to feel relief, and it fully applies. So, the goat has birthed young, aka. I got the approval and once my date is "current", which might be in a month, or a year (don't ask), I'll get to the second part of the goat, admittedly shorter.
Then, there was another deadline for a story for an anthology that finally got its date pushed ahead due to unrelated reasons. Don't feel bad for me - another person has it worse this time. I'll wait as long as she needs.

Then, there was That Damned Paper. And because my life will always try and get more spicy, I had to prepare a talk at a huge ass conference at the same time.
So, the last month has been hectic; I've submitted That Damned Paper on Thursday, I gave the talk yesterday and I'm as free as a bird, until something else crops up. I see a grant looming on the horizon. But this time I'm good and prepared.
Still, a bit exhausted.
So, I'm giving myself one free weekend (I'm still at that conference, duh) and then Glorious comes back to finish the last arc of part I next week. I'm happy you've been there, and I see all my faithful readers, and I'm going to namedrop once I get this done and I'm also at the computer that handles browsing a bit better, to get all the names right. But I do see you. You've been a great help. This is not a bestseller, and it runs contrary to some bestselling tropes on purpose. I'm glad you're appreciating it. Thanks!
