Prologue

A sharp wail cut through the air as a baby was born. Around the baby were its two parents. One gifted with intelligence and the other gifted with strength. There were also two doctors with masks and sleek white lab coats. They had just delivered this new boy into the world. Around them, all were vials filled with seemingly everything possible.

This was how any child's life started. They drank the contents of one of the vials. And was given a gift. But according to the law only one gift per child, or they were to be killed.

The newborn’s parents walked around the interior of the shack inspecting each of the gifts. Every parent wanted to give their child the gift that would bless them the most. The most popular gifts were that of strength and intelligence. So the parents went through all the gifts to find the correct one for their child.

The first sign that something was wrong was the rattling of glass. The four full-grown people in the birth center just ignored the sounds. But the rattling got louder and louder until no one could ignore it.

“What's happening!” the mom yelled.

“Earthquake,” her husband whispered, face pale.

Then the vials started to fall. And when they hit the ground, they broke and splashed on everyone in the room. One of the doctors was the first to notice what was happening.

“The baby! It's changing!”

All the vials had splashed onto the child, and the influx of all the gifts made the baby unnatural. It was changing colors, growing horns and fangs. But it was also very powerful.So with a heavy heart, the parents slew their newborn child. As if the earth sensed the death, it gave one last big shake, then was still.

A doctor felt for a pulse just to be sure the child was dead.

“He’s gone.”

Or so they thought.

In a kingdom at the edge of the earth, the child's spirit sunk into a king, possessing him. It would get revenge on its two parents and those two doctors. And after they were disposed of. It would show Earth how powerful he could be. Even if it meant destroying the world.
