Giant Bestiary
This bestiary will continually be updated as we move along the story. Current status: Up to Chapter 13. Read this bestiary at your own risk of spoilers.
Giants are divided into a ten-star category system, with one-star being the weakest and ten-star being one of the strongest giants ever discovered. As the star-rating goes up, the more Giantslayers are needed to hunt the creature and the more high-leveled Giantslayes are capable enough to kill it.
Augmentations
Some giants can consume nectars as well and like humans, some have affinities towards them while some cannot consume it at all. But unlike humans, nectars will produce external changes to their physical characteristics rather than just merely enhancements of their inner strengths. A giant in the weaker star-rating may be augmented and become more dangerous, hence becoming a higher star-rating—but this is very hard to measure as each augmented giant is unique and one of a kind. The more nectars it consumes, the stronger it becomes and the more changes start to show up in its physical characteristics and capabilities.
