I open my eyes and started thinking about what had happened since I arrived in Suna. It had been a couple of months since and if I am being honest I haven't been doing much practice other then physical and chakra control

All in all I am doing well, I did try and do some more practice but was told that I had to wait until I was in the academy by Ebizo. Of course I listened as I did not want to risk them kicking me out, which I know was unlikely but I wasn't going to risk it. I was currently outside practicing my Renewal Taekwondo, I was doing my katas while focusing on how it affected my chakra, to my surprise it seemed to be using my chakra, although not too much, when I was using the skill. I mean it was understandable since in the original series it looked almost magical what he could do which means that chakra has to be used as a substitute. as it would increase my strength and reinforce the attacks, which in turn would make it more powerful.

I took a small break and wiped the sweat that was dripping of my forehead, I was sitting in the shadow when Ebizo came to me and gave me a pitcher of water and sat in the rocking chair beside me. he then said
Ebizo: "i saw that fighting style of yours, it looked very impressive. is it something you made yourself as I have never seen anything like it before"
Dai: "yes, I made it during my journey to Suna. It's called Renewal Taekwondo" 'well not really but he doesn't have to know that'
Ebizo nodded and we sat in comfortable silence until he said
Ebizo: "you are starting in the academy tomorrow, I know that we have limited your training but when you enter the academy I want you to do your best to be the topper of the year, I know you have the ability to do so"
I nodded before standing up and saying
Dai: "i am going to take a bath before going to the city for a bit, and exploring Suna a bit more"
Ebizo grunted in acknowledgment before I left and took a short bath. After taking a bath I put on my outfit and looked at myself in the mirror

When looking at the mirror I noticed that I looked almost identical to Hashirama if only more sharp features. my hair was dark brown and tied into a samurai bun with a few strands going down my face. in all honesty I looked very handsome, and my eyes were a perfect green with a splash of brown in the inner circle making it look very good. I smiled at myself and left the house and walked towards the blacksmith. I arrived there after a few minutes and immediately went towards the owner of the shop who sighed when he saw me. I said
Dai: "hello Arata have you finished the order I asked for?"
Arata: "Yes Dai I have finished the order, let me go and get it..."
he left to the backroom probably to get what I had asked for previously, he came back holding two leg weights, similar to what rock lee and might guy wear. He placed them on the table and said
Arata: "alright, I used some of my contact to be able to get these, as I had no idea how to make them. Apparently you have to use chakra to turn them on and off and to increase the weight you have to come back to me so I can swap out the weights for heavier ones."
Dai: "alright then, how much do I owe you"
Arata: "10,000 ryo for the weights, together, and then its 1000 ryo for the replacement of the weights"

Dai nodded and thanked the gods for roshi's little nest egg as he had enough to be able to buy it. after giving arata the money he put the weights on his shins and turned them on, he quickly felt his weight increase and he moved much slower then when he came here. there was a quick notification, from the system, that said
Dai: 'damn. that's a big loss'
dai was casually walking around the town when he noticed a playground not to far away and in the playground he spotted the sand siblings all together. well it was the older siblings together and gaara nowhere to be seen, he quic his pace which took a lot out of him and he saw a message appear
Dai entered the playground area and went up to the two older sand siblings who looked at him and said
Temari: "who are you and what are you doing here"
Dai: "I am Dai Senju, and I am a a citizen of the sand, as for the reason I am here, well it was honestly to just explore the village"
Temari: "hmm ok, well I am tamari and this is younger brother Kankuro. I am 8 and he is 6 years old, how about you"
Dai: "Oh, I am the same age as your brother then. does that mean you have already started training to be a ninja, Temari"
Temari: "that's right, as the Kazekages daughter I have to be strong, and I am already the strongest in my class"
Dai: "that's pretty cool, but hey at least I will have one familiar face tomorrow during the first day of the academy. By the way do you have any other siblings"
they both started shuddering before saying
Kankuro: "yeah but he's so scary. he is a monster. his name is gaara and he is 5. but he is stronger then the both of us combined plu--"
Dai pov
All of a sudden the three of us heard some footsteps behind us and saw a redheaded boy walking towards us with his head looking down, like he was sad about something. He then looked up and saw us looking at him, he looked happy for a second before looking sad again. He was now a couple meters ahead of us when my chakra started acting up, I felt something boiling where my stomach was and saw that my seal was starting to turn red, I then looked at Gaara who was suffering from the same thing all of a sudden a tendril of sand shot towards my head as I jumped backwards. I had forgotten to turn off my weights so I still got hit a bit and a deep cut appeared that went from the top of my cheek to the end of my chin, passing diagonally through my lips. I could taste the Iron in my mouth and I, for the first time since I had reincarnated, got scared. I was starting to freak out until something happened and I just...felt nothing, it was a weird feeling, not feeling anything, it was almost like there was nothing going through my head other then the phrase "what should I do next". I quickly turned off the weights on my leg, it was hard due to the rampant chakra, but I managed to do it, next I dodged another tendril of sand with much more efficiency, I then sprinted the quickest I have ever sprinted and reached garra, I dodged the the third tendril and jumped over anther tendril that was shot at me on maximum strike and I focused my chakra to my eyes and, for the first time ever, commanded my blood to shoot out of my mouth as a drill head, I manipulated it and forced it to bore into Gaaras back who fell forwards. I took advantage of this and ran towards him and said, in the most monotone voice ever,
Dai: "Renewal taekwondo: 3rd Stance Hwechook"
When Gaara had just found the balance he had lost and stood up, I was behind him with a kick to the back of the head, which was blocked by sand, and then followed up with another quick kick from the side of his head, which wasn't blocked and then a heel kick to the other side of his head, this was partially blocked. I then landed beside him and jumped backwards to see him stumble a bit before falling to the floor in defeat, as multiple Suna anbu, and the Kazekage rush towards us and looking at the seen in front of them. I then see them staring at me, I didn't realise why until thought of my appearance, I had a long cut traveling from cheekbone to the bottom of my chin dripping with blood and my eyes were blood red with a black pupil and a purple line going through the middle. the cut was already healing but I knew it would leave a scar. The Kazekage walked up to me and saw that the wound was healing, he then looked at his youngest son who was knocked out on the ground and sighed. he then told me to come to his office and explain what had happened, to which I complied and followed him to his office and then explained what had happened and the cause of all of this. The Kazekage then looked at me for a couple of seconds and then sighed and told me to hurry back to Ebizo and Chiyo and that I had to rest for tomorrows first day in the academy. I quickly left and while I was walking towards my house I turned on the weights and opened the notifications I had gotten

I quickly put it back when I heard footsteps approaching me and looked up to see Ebizo who looked at me and then looked worried. He went on saying that whoever did the best throughout the year would get a reward from him, so I looked excited and apparently the system was too as it said objective: stay the topper throughout the years you are in the academy bonus objective: do it without turning off your weights bonus objective: skip a year reward: a gift of your choice from the kazekage, 1 gacha ticket, 2000 ryo. bonus 1 reward: wood style unlocked, 1 legendary gacha ticket bonus 2 reward: unique summoning failure: kicked out of the sand, bonus 1 failure: perma locked wood style bonus 2 failure: no summoning. ever> Dai: 'well those rewards look mighty fine to me so i just might have to indulge' and thus started my ninja academy journey
