On an average day, Todd Frank sat on an in a bench in the forlorn part of the park. The sky had a certain particular colour to it as evening crept in. Now as you should know, Todd had a secret and it wasn't a good secret not at all. You see, Todd wasn't exactly a human being, instead, he was a dwarf a half or maybe quarter dwarf to be exact. The attributes certainly showed, at 20 years old Todd only stood at 4.9 feet. Try as he did Todd couldn't raise his stance, not even one bit! How did Todd find out he was a dwarf? As it happens Todd was an orphan, he was left on the steps of a long blotted out church and was raised by an undeniably passionate churchgoer. Todd grew up living a fairly decent life well, as decent as a failing entrepreneur could give. The churchgoer's name was Mia or as Todd called her, Mimi. Mia never would've thought that she'd get a child when she came to the church on that fateful day but alas, there she stood holding a bundle of warmth and joy. Mia worked hard to support her new family and Todd grew up happy and educated. But, there was always that nagging question in the back of Todd's brain, who were his birth parents? Eventually the strain put Todd on the edge and finally teared down Todd's reluctance to pursue his question. With some hesitance he set out to the depths of the internet to the most promising DNA testing site. With his kit mailed to the site Todd anxiously waited for the results. The results were almost as expected, mostly European with some Norse blood mixed in but what really sparked Todd's interest was the fact that almost a quarter of his DNA was apparently unrecognizable. The testing to find relatives bore no fruit too, only one match was found and the so-called Immhad Dunarr disappeared 2 years ago! The last known location was a village called Nuugaatsiaq. Searching Nuugaatsiaq on the internet proved no success as Todd found the village long gone, perished in a Tsunami a year and half ago so even if the "relative" was still there, he was probably 6 feet under. Todd had no idea why the company didn’t investigate his DNA though. He thought that “unknown” DNA would be an interesting topic to invest. Putting that aside, Todd needed a new lead. Todd didn’t know what it was but he had a hunch that he should visit the perished village. With a sign, Todd searched for a way to get to Denmark, but he ran into a problem. Even the most affordable tickets were a significant dent in his meager budget. Borrowing was out of question too. Throughout Todd’s 12 years of grade school and 1 year of college, Todd made no friends. There were acquaintances of course and those groups that tolerated him but in all, Todd shunned from any friends. Banks would not be ideal either as which self-respecting bank would loan money to a college student following a dead lead? As Todd was complementing this he heard a knock on the door. Looking through the door hole, he saw a blonde woman holding a clipboard. Thinking that this was another salesman or in this case woman he ignored it and went back to thinking. The day passed and the failure of any other ideas sent Todd to bed.
