Nexo POV
Jaques and Alen pulled out their service blasters and started to fire away at the incoming "Romans".
Alen aimed at the one who was riding the reptile and pulled the trigger. A white-hot 1500-degree Celsius round went straight through the "Roman's " head.
The other "Romans" dressed as presumably legionaries charged at the Officers and the two off-duty soldiers.
They Kept firing away but the "Romans" kept pouring out of the portal. Although it only took one shot to take one legionnaire down but there were hundreds. Only a minute later Jaques ordered the officers and Alen to retreat.
Alen gave one last look at the "Structure" only to see strange humanoid creatures with animal features and more pointy ears exiting it. They looked eerily similar to the Demi-Humans from anime.
They retreated several blocks down where they met two more police officers. They parked their Police Interceptors in a defense line formation.
Saderan POV
A legatus came over to genal Tiberius, the man responsible for conquering the other side of the GATE.
" My general I bring troubling news."
" Tell me what happened to these legionaries around me why are they dead?"
" My General when we came to this side of the GATE six of these barbarians who were presumably their battle mages attacked us with white and orange projectiles, survivors describe the feeling of being hit by them as like burning a hole through their bodies. We sent three legions worth of men after them."
This was troubling, only six managed to kill 300. " What news have the wyvern riders bring?"
"They have been unchallenged in the skies, they reported that this city is vast they could not find its where ends yet."
This was good news for Tiberius. It would be the largest city he’d conquer. He wondered what reward the emperor would grant him.
High in the skies

Valerius Drakonius soared high on his wyvern, with the rest of his squad trailing behind. As he gazed down at the towering skyscrapers, he marveled at their construction. Their artisans could be valuable to the Saderan empire. Yet, these people seemed defenseless. Perhaps they had enjoyed peace for too long, leaving them vulnerable. If that were the case, perhaps it was time for the empire to conquer them.
He looked at a long strip of stone on which a massive winged beast rested. Along the strip, multiple beasts stood. Maybe these were their flying beasts. Then he should get rid of them as soon as possible before they take to the skies. He yelled " With me! Let's take out these barbarians's air power, Sadera shall dominate their skies."
All wyverns opened their mouths, an orange glow forming in their throats. Then they all bombarded the beast with fireballs, Destroying it.
Then they turned their attention to the people running around the other beasts. After Destroying the beasts they pulled up back into the skies.
Valerius heard a strange buzzing noise. Before he could ask his fellow wyvern rides what that noise was they all were turned to ash.
(Yes I know GATE wyverns cannot shoot fireballs but I wanted to make this scene happen. Also, This is a "Fanfic" I don't have to be 100% accurate.)
Nexo POV
Three Harvey skelters piloted by Li' Ru, Ne' Na, and Bu' Be entered the atmosphere above Mega Ginza.
The Harvey Skelters were built to deliver fast response heavy air support to the battlefield.
Li' Ru looked out and gasped " Holy! They took down an Orion passenger?" Then he opened a wide band frequency: " This is Perfection 1-9 to Perfection 2-9and 3-9 let's show these bastards who own the skies."
" Roger"
" Roger."
"All right Ne' Na you go help Captain, Bu' Be make sure the ones I miss get taken out."
" Roger that"
" Yes sir"
The nose of Li' Ru's Skelter split open into two parts and a massive green bolt of energy flew out toward the "Reptiles".
Bu' Be's skelter's nose let out streaks of lightning that took out multiple "Reptiles".
Meanwhile, Ne' Na's skelter's wing tips glowed green before unleashing a hail of smaller green bolts on the street below her.
Over the intercom, a message came" Li' Ru This is Director Nu' Ra keep collateral damage to a minimum. We are reclaiming our city, not taking a mountain from the Seloi."
" Roger that I'll be more careful."
On the ground

Jaques, Alen, and the 12 marines with the IFV started to move forward. Alen aimed and fired at a group of thin ugly greens coming at him. They all were killed in less than a second. He watched as Jaques lifted up two "Romans" and slammed their heads into each other.
Alen looked back at a group of fleeing targets and he said to Jaques " Gotta go get them so I'll be splitting up, K?"
" Okay just don't get scrubbed."
" I won't." He said as he chased after them.
A few streets down Alen had killed all of them, then he heard a roar from the street in front of him. A car went flying above him and crashed into the building behind him. In front of him, a large three-meter tall big fat even more ugly brownish grey holding a massive club stood. It roared before trying to crush Alen with its club. Alen Jumped up 4 meters into the air before landing on that " Thing's" shoulder. He pushed the laser gun's barrel down into its mouth and fired away burning its insides. Then he Jumped off the " Thing" and onto the road as the "Thing" fell behind him.

He then walked onto an Overpass. Multiple Overpasses were built around Mega Ginza to make it easy for traffic. He walked up into the overpass and looked at the district. Plumes of smoke rose from many places. In one street he saw Jaques and the Marine contingent.
" System Zoom"
His eyes zoomed in to see the street clearly.
"These Officer combat gears are a new thing" He muttered.
Jaques had his sword in hand and was slicing away at a bunch of "Demi-Humans" an Elf or whatever it was held up both of its hands and fired Lightning?
Jaques's Shield blocked the hit but its color changed from green to red in one strike. A rabbit-eared "Demi-Human jumped at Jaques while the Elf was charging up another attack and the Marines were fighting two "Thigs"
Alen aimed and fired his rifle at the Elf or whatever it was from the overpass. The lases directly hit its neck and beheaded it while Jaques grabbed the Rabbit Eared creature and crushed its neck so hard that its head fell off.
Alen disabled Zoom and continued on the overpass. In front of him, multiple cars were left abandoned. Immediately System chimed in.
"Two threats detected behind that truck, Be advised"
Alen jumped over the truck, rolled then turned around to face whatever it was.
There were two "Demi-Humans" one with features of a cat while the other probably wolf. they threw their weapons and raised their hands.
Alen was about to arrest them but he felt as if his arms had a mind of their own, his finger pulled the trigger and both of them were killed.
Alen yelled "System, WHAT THE HELL?"
"They were terrorists I have proof of them killing Terran Civvilians"
A video played in his head of them killing a group of children. Alen was shocked. The system said "See sir we should continue"
"Uhh Okay."
He walking forward when he encountered a group of "Romans" who were walking his way one "Roman" in particular who was on a horse said something System said, " Estimated 300 targets, and the monkey on the horse said in a mixture of Greek and Latin, surrender you are outnumbered."
"System make me say their language."
Alen smiled and said to the "Roman" on the horse " I don't even need my weapon to fight you."
The rifle in his hand disappeared in a blue glow.
He clenched his fists and took a stance. Two "Romans" attacked him with spears but he dodged them and punched straight through their chests. Then he picked up one spear and pierced it into another.
10 minutes later
"Whew, whose next?" Alen asked. Around him 268 "Romans" lie dead and in front of him 32 highly demoralized men with their commander stood. Alen's combat suit was mired with blood. He pointed his bloody finger at the one on the horse and said "You?"
20 the "Romans" started to run away. Alen put two of his fingers on his ear and said something. Moments later those 20 were turned to ash by a large green light. The remaining 12 dropped their weapons and surrendered. Alen looked to his left where a larger dropship landed and the POWs were taken.
Alen continued down the road, off the motorway when suddenly System told him that the "Romans" Had taken hostages in a nearby building. He neutralized the "Romans" guarding the building and then stealthily made his way up floor by floor until he reached the floor where the hostages were kept. He threw a small bead into the room from the gap under the door. System said, "Scanner ball in place, estimating 10 targets and 20 hostages.". Alen burst the door open with a kick and used the combat suit's time compression moduel to slow down time. He aimed and fired while the system assisted him. All of the targets slumped dead, and Alen looked at the hostages. They were all girls from as young as 5. He wondered why were there only girls?.
He called for an evacuation and left the room with a sentry turret to protect the rescued hostages.
He left the room to neutralize the last two red dots on his radar. When he got close to them he saw that they were Rabbit-ear "Demi-Humans". One of them pulled out its dagger and rushed toward him. Alen activated time compression and slowed down time, he dashed to its side and punched her out of the window. She fell down on the asphalt road with a loud thud and crunch. The other one said " You will pay for what you did to sist-"
She couldn't finish her sentence, Alen cut her clean in two from head to toe with his combat knife in one swing.
Alen then walked back to the hostages and led them out of the building. A young girl held his leg and said " Thanks Big Brother."
Alen smiled at her and said, " Just doing my job."
Outside a heavy troop transport was waiting. Alen directed the girls to the transport and looked at the road that connected from the overpass. Multiple Terran Military jeeps were coming down' 'Well it took the Terran military long enough, by now the marines would cleared the whole city.'
Alen stood in the way of the lead jeep and got in.
" Take me to the front line," He said to the driver.
" Roger that."
The military convoy began to go deeper toward "Ground Zero"
' I wonder what Jaques is up to?'
Meanwhile
Jaques had split off from his Marines and the IFV and now he was surrounded by 5 "Things" One roared and Tried to crush Jaques with its club, Jaques activated his wrist plasma blades and cut the "thing's" hand before jumping on it and gutting it like fish.
Another swung its axe down but Jaques used his quickstep module and dodged the axe which now pierced the "thing" which was gutted.
Jaques dashed at it and severed its head.
"Two down, three more to go"
He jumped on one thing and shoved a grenade down its throat and jumped behind another and shoved another grenade this time up its ...
he turned to the 5th one while the other two exploded behind him. He disabled his plasma blades and used his wings to jump at the thing, He punched it so hard that it was knocked down. He tied it up with graphene wire and put a beacon on it.
He looked back to see his Marines and the IFV.
" Sorry, Captain got stuck between multiple pointy ears shooting lightning at us."
"It's okay as long as you're alive. Anyway, what's up with the other Marine squads? "
" Marine squads 3 and 4 have secured compromised sectors 3,4 and 5 while Squad 2 somehow got their IFV disabled but secured sector 6,7 and 2, Squad 5 along with Terran Military are headed towards sector 1, "Ground Zero."
"Let's head towards "Ground Zero" boys."
" Oorah."
They made their way towards Sector 1 where the Terran military had arrived. They had blocked the entrance to the structure with an MBT.
At this point, many of the attackers started to throw down their weapons and give up. Some of the " Romans" tried to make a futile rush towards the "Structure" but they were swiftly dealt with by the MBT's coaxial plasma ray gun.
Jaqued met Alen whose suit was covered in blood to the extent that the suit would've been red instead of black.
" Jaques, what took ya sooo long?"
" Was taken out many "Things", Anyway thanks for saving my ass out there in the 4-way street from the overpass."
" Yeah anyway we managed to capture the ones responsible for the attack, they were all yelling, calling us uncivilized barbarians, and said that they came here to civilize us. BY COMMITTING ATROCITIES THAT WOULD PUT GENGIS KHAN TO SHAME!? So uhhh" Alen pointed towards a group of naked men lined up next to a building who was being beaten by Nexo Tokyo S.W.A.T with batons. Multiple prisoner transports arrived at the scene and every prisoner was put into them. Some started shouting " Do you have no honor? No pride? I am a noble! You can't put me in with these filthy non hum- "They were quickly beaten.
Saderan POV
10 minutes before Jaques and Marine Squad 1's arrival.
Ground Zero
In his tent, General Tiberius was going over the amount of resources and slaves conquered. The local women were exceptionally beautiful and would fetch a high price. He wanted to indulge himself in the pleasure but he had to check reports. He smiled when he saw that over a thousand slaves had been captured, But his armies who were tasked to go deeper into the city still hadn't given any report nor did the wyvern riders but that was not very Important. He kept on dreaming of what rewards Emperor Molt would bestow upon him when suddenly a frantic messenger came in bursting.
" Legate, where are your manners?"
" My general sorry for the interruptions but I came bearing troubling news."
This caught Tiberius's attention
" Speak."
" The army of this world has arrived."
" Then mobilize our army we shall clash steel and beat them"
" But my lord our army is no more, we're already surrounded and they've cut off our escape."
" Wha-" Before he could finish his word the tent got ripped and an other worlder with white hair got in. He locked eyes with General Tiberius as he pulled the messenger's lower jaw off. He said, " You are under arrest for terrorism."
Tiberius said in a loud and authoritative tone " I am General Tiberius of the Saderan Empire. We came here to spread civilization to your barbaric worl-" The soldier punched him in the chest so hard that the wind was knocked out of his lungs.
" I don't negotiate with terrorists and I know everything about you from you Legates whom I enjoyed feeding their entrails," He said with a sadistic smile.
Eight minutes later
" You BARBARIANS! Have you no pride, No Honour?"
The white-haired man walked over to another man and said something then every noble present was stripped naked and lined up against a wall and men wearing black armor beated them with sticks.
Every noble’s last bit of pride had been dishonored; these otherworlds were truly barbaric. If it couldn't get any worse. It did they were thrown with Non-Humens in the prisoner transports. whoever complained was beaten brutally. The transport carriages hummed to life and took them to whatever fate lay ahead.
