1.The Bridge Ambush

Setting:

It's a quiet afternoon by the river, with the sound of running water creating a serene backdrop. The sun hangs low in the sky, casting long shadows across the bridge that arches over the water. Ath, strong and athletic, walks along the riverbank, dressed in usual loose-fitting hoodie and cargo pants. Ath attire is functional, designed to allow freedom of movement and to mask identity.

Characters: Ath(at 16 age),The Group of Boys.

Action:

As Ath approaches the narrow bridge, notices the group of boys hanging around the entrance. They exchange glances, whispering amongst themselves. Ath can feel their eyes is looking ath, but ath keeps head high, hands in pockets, determined not to show fear.

Boy 1 (snickering):

"Check out this kid. Thinks he's tough just because he's got a hoodie."

Boy 2 (grinning):

"Yeah, let's see if he's got the cash to back it up!"

Ath hears their taunts but ignores them, continuing stride. She's used to being underestimated. It's a game that plays well. As Ath steps onto the bridge, one of the boys blocks ath path, smirking confidently.

Boy 3 (mocking):

"Hey there, buddy. You lookin' to cross? How about you hand over some cash first?"

Ath raises an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at lips. Ath steps to the side to pass, but Boy 3 grabs ath shoulder. The moment is electric, a charged pause before the storm.

Ath (coolly):

"Let go of me."

Boy 4 (laughing):

"What's the matter? You scared?"

Ath's eyes flash with defiance. With a swift motion, she twists Boy 3's wrist, flipping onto his back with surprising ease. The other boys freeze, stunned by ath unexpected strength.

Boy 1 (angry now):

"You think you're tough? Let's see how you handle all of us!"

The three remaining boys rush at ath, adrenaline pumping. Ath's instincts kick in. She ducks under the first boy's wild punch, movements fluid and practiced. Ath counters with a sharp elbow to his ribs, causing him to double over in pain.

Ath:

"Is that all you've got?"

The next boy swings a fist, but Ath sidesteps and grabs his arm, twisting it behind his back. With a swift kick, then sends him crashing into Boy 1, who stumbles back, shocked.

Boy 2 (panting):

"Get that bitch!"

As Ath faces the last boy, sizes him up, ath breath steady. He lunges forward, swinging wildly, but Ath is ready, ducks low, then springs up, catching him off-guard. With a swift motion. Ath sweeps his legs out from under him, sending him crashing to the ground.

Boy 1 (groaning):

"This isn't happening!"

Ath stands over the group, they expression calm and collected as they all lay groaning on the ground. The fighter adjusts hoodie, looking down at them with a cool smile.

Ath:

"Didn't your momma teach you to pick on someone your own size?"

The boys scramble to get up, their bravado shattered. Ath walks past them, the sound of ath's footsteps echoing against the bridge. The fighter glances back, seeing the realization in their eyes. They've underestimated ath, and now they know better.

Transition:

As Ath continues down the path, feels a surge of satisfaction. This is the fighter world—a place where strength is respected, and underestimation often leads to regret. But as ath walks away, a new challenge looms on the horizon, one that will test ath in ways the fighter never imagined.
