Chapter 1: Game Start

First introduced in media as a work of fiction of the future, VRMMO games were now becoming something that existed in reality. Using a specialized setup and new technology, the most famous of them all would be the project that was worked on with AI assistance and a team of over 2000 game developers, Eldross: Mystic Horizons. A fantasy VRMMO that was unlike any other, with AI assisted adaptive support, full sensory integration, and time dilation capabilities. The game would run ten times as fast as reality for its players, with events and other situations being capable of further time dilation. Rumor had it that some of the big events, that would take countless days to complete, game time would be accelerated to the point of 40x potentially.

The reason for this was really quite the simple one. The world was going to have a depth of features, creative freedoms, liberties, and overall just a massive world that one could take years, maybe even decades, to fully explore. The process for creating it had been the devs creating the core, the skeleton of it, and then using advanced AI programs to use that to render a world, with them providing various parameters and key words for that. Once that was done, the devs then got back to work putting in the countless details of the world, and adjusting things that the AI generated that didn't quite fit right. This was then run through the AI bugtester, and then the devs checked on those to make sure that while the bugs were removed, it didn't mess up any of the lore or world accidentally.

They went through such a process, which is how they made the game. Beta Testers were used to help iron it all out, and then they used a lot of videos and screenshots from them for promotional content.

There would be a myriad of classes and features, making it seem like the world itself was real. Everything was insanely realistic. However, while they promised that realism, there was some concerns. Even if it was overall kid friendly, one worried about the mental strain, which was why they developed the Neural Support System. The NSS would help make sure no one got traumatized by death in the game or through combat. However, that didn't mean it would prevent negative association, and its overall capabilities beyond those two things were rather limited. Still, it was found to be very helpful, so it was included in the end.

Of course, there were some players who could still get really negatively hurt, so as mentioned, its not like you were without emotion or feelings.

Additionally, there would be an official game forums that could even be accessed from inside the games, allowing players to post videos, screenshots, and other information. Not only that, but there was even various socialization features. One could import media from their devices, or stream from streaming services. There would also be various entertainment possibilities in game, and even educational functions to help entice students who wanted more time to study.

As for customization options, you could choose some settings for your character, and then it would generate the rest based off of that. There would be locations that would let you customize your character as well. There was also a randomizer. The randomizer had an interesting incentive though, as you could gain a bonus skill and bonus points to choose skills at the start. A small amount, and it would be based on the race that was randomly chosen. That said, this didn't include class, that was something you would always choose yourself.

Eldross was a very free game, so there were warnings about potential PvP issues. The devs mentioned that they wanted to let people have fun with a wide range of styles, including thievery, but mentioned that pushing things too far would result in warnings and reports. There would also be plenty of safe zones where PvP would be restricted or forbidden. That said, they also wanted to give that sort of stuff some wiggleroom to make it more exciting and realistic as well. That was also why there were fairly strict rules on naming, they had to at least have the potential to be actual names when you made them for your character.

Furthermore, although they were pretty open with stuff, crossing a certain line would not be tolerated at all, so that way kids could enjoy the game as well.

This level of detail appealed to a lot of people far and wide, but especially was the time dilation. This would mean that people could play for a long time even if they only had a few hours a day. One could even eat, drink, and sleep in the game. And the system would even help to monitor your health, so if you had some sort of issue, it would immediately send out a notice. It also had a backup power supply in case of power loss, which meant that one would have some time and be able to let their friends know, as they would get a notification if that happened. As the battery could last for about four hours of active use, that was just over a day and a half in the game at 40 hours game time.

With thousands of dungeons, hundreds of raids, and potentially ten thousand storylines. Not all of them major mind you, plenty of them would be minor ones. Some might also contradict each other, doing one may lock you out of another.

Naturally, to help make sure people could keep track of real time and not forget anything, especially if they set it in their schedule in the system, the NSS would help make sure the time difference didn't cause any issues there either, and would help support ensuring its players could live normal, regular lives. In fact, the NSS was even being looked at to help with therapy and other medical uses that could help people, it was that innovative. In fact, it was even being beta tested for that right now.

But for Zenko Konami, for him it was going to be his second chance. A long time ago, he had suffered through a major tragedy while in junior high. He was always an expressive, emotional boy, but then due to an accident while at a family reunion, he ended up losing his parents and extended family. He took it pretty hard, but perhaps because he was highly expressive, he was able to process it better. However, this led to another issue.

The insurance payout was huge, massive really. After all, the life insurance policies of his entire family went to him. Not only that, but as he didn't know what to do with all the property, the estate manager had dealt with it all, and that ended up with another major payout. Furthermore, the ones who caused the accident, in addition to going to jail, ended up having to pay a hefty sum as part of the compensation. Although through tragic means, Zenko was suddenly loaded. And that caused him a lot of issues.

After all, at first, he thought people were just coming around to help him, cheer him up, things like that. Thats all he thought at first. But then, many of their true natures started to emerge. It was little hints at first, but soon it became clear. They were just interested in his money.

This hurt him a lot, and caused himself to become very distant and difficult to trust others. The accident was bad enough, but for someone who was as social as him, it hurt even more. It had major negative impacts on him, and caused him to retreat into the shadows and avoid people. He still ended up graduating both junior high and high school, but he had more money he could ever need, and he didn't need to work. He was also nervous about meeting people outside, because they might somehow know him and take advantage of him for his money.

However, he soon realized there was one reprieve. One way that could help him. The Full Dive VRMMO, Eldross, that was coming out soon. No one on the game would know who he really was, his information would stay private. But at the same time, he could really just be himself again. No one would use his quirks to take advantage of him, nothing like that. He could potentially make friends, take part in activities together, and go on grand adventurers even. Not to mention, there would be various fluffy critters one could get as pets, or even Familiars or Tamable Monsters.

One could even create fantastical homes, guild halls, and even bases. Rumor had it that one could even fly on dragons, create amazing magic tools, and you could appear however you want! Of course granted, this would require a lot of leveling, skill development, and time of course.

There was even a Pre-Order Bonus, as well as a Bonus that one could pay additional money for. It did allow for an elevated start, but they were one time purchases so one couldn't really pay to play or get ahead aside from a nice beginning bonus. Real money wouldn't affect any other part of the game, so it was all on time, skill, and luck.

As Zenko booted up the character creator, he honestly was not sure what to go for in terms of appearance. However, there was one playstyle that always interested him. He was always annoyed how in anime, it seemed that hte boy always got the sword, and only girls ever got real magic. He himself loved magic far more then the sword, so he was drawn to the magic classes. Of those initially available, it was Mage, Cleric, and Druid. Cleric was more of a healer/support, butt Zenko didn't want that. That left him with Mage or Druid. Druids were more focused on using what was around oneself, while Mages focused more on bringing things out from scratch. There was some overlap between the magic classes, but there were other differences as well.

However, Zenko wanted to be a mage. It would let him be flexible in the long term.

After that, he was given the option to randomly select a race and appearance, or make one himself. There was the bonus of thte randomizer, but it could end up being entirely useless. However, he wasn't sure how he wanted to look yet...so he ended up using it anyways.

Suddenly, a mirror appeared in front of him, and it seemed now he could see himself. The first thing he noticed was his height. He looked like he could have been a grade schooler, just shy of entering Junior High. He had silver hair that reached his neck, but when he moved the hair away, he discovered he had pointed ears. When he checked his face, he discovered he was a Mixed Blood Elf. Pure Blooded Elves were taller then humans on average, but mixed blooded elves were shorter. At least, that was what Zenko remembered from the bits of lore that were released so far.

He had to admit, he was surprised by how cute he looked. This actually made him feel better a bit, since it felt like the face was something that people would find easily approachable. Considering he was worried about maybe messing up when talking to people, he figured that this appearance might make it easier to forgive him.

Then he saw his Status Page:

Name: Race: Mixed-Blood Elf HP: 4/4 MP: 7/7 Class/Level: Mage 1 Str: 0 Dex: 1 End: 0 Mind: 1 Magic: 1 Luck: 0 Agi: 2 Torso: Simple Tunic Head: Legs: Feet: Left Hand: Right Hand: Accessory 1: Accessory 2: Accessory 3: Accessory 4: Accessory 5: Accessory 6:

There was also a skill list, but it was a separate box. It probably had something to do with the fact that you could get a lot of skills, so if they put it on the same table as everything else, it would eventually eclipse it all and make it look really weird.

Skills: Wind Magic 1, Fae Wings 1, Archery 1, Elven Magic 1, Elven Crafting 1, Elven Swordsmanship 1 Passive Skills: Elven Physique

He then had about 40 points to spend. 30 base, 5 from pre-order, 5 from one time purchase beginning bonus. Since it was a one time purchase, it ensured it was only a boost, and the game was not pay to win. They could be used to acquire skills, items, and such to start the game with. He was quite interested in his Elven skills though, such as the Fae Wings. He looked it up real quick.

Fae Wings: While at full HP, can fly through the air for a limited duration. Cooldown is twice as long of flight time.

Elven Physique: Twice as many points needed to upgrade strength up to Str 20 starting at Str 10. Gain bonuses to Agi, Magic, MP, Mind, and Dex. Negative 1HP for every 5HP.

Elven Magic: The Magic of the Elves.

So basically, Elven Physique was more or less the racial bonuses that were passive. As expected, Elves in this game had more inclinations towards things away from Str. and End. However, it wasn't impossible for them either.

He still had to choose a name though. After some consideration, he decided on Yuta. Yuta felt cute enough for this character, it was a nice good name for a silver haired elf that was a mage. Now he just had his points.

First of all, he spent 20 points alone on his stats. He put 6 into mind, 6 into magic. From this, he soon learned for every 2 points put into both magic and mind, his MP would increase by one. So it was like a free point there. He decided to put an extra point into each, and then put two into HP. It didn't decrease, but that was likely because it usually started at 5HP, so it was already reduced to 4. That was 16 points spent now. He put another 2 into agility, and put a point into Luck and Dex to make up the rest.

That left 20 remaining. First of all, it seemed he would only start in a Tunic, he wouldn't even get pants or shoes. Considering this was a full dive VRMMO, he felt that would not do. He ended up spending 4 points on a Mage's Robe that provided a bonus of +1 to AGI and Magic, 2 points on some shorts that had decent inventory slots due to a inventory increase enchantment, and a whole 6 points on a pair of shoes that seemed cool. Apparently they improved mana regeneration by walking and running and boosted AGI by 3, so he figured with his AGI that would be useful. That left him eight left.

In the end, he ended up raising his wind magic by 2 levels for 3 points. Wind Magic 2 had been a single point, but Wind Magic 3 was two points. Wind Magic 4 also seemed to cost 2 points. Apparently, the cost for skills was half the skill level rounded up. So Wind Magic 5 would cost three points.

With 5 points left, he decided to get the Acrobatics Skill, because that seemed like fun. He spent 2 points to get it up to Level 2. Then he decided to level up Elven Magic to Level 3 as well. With that, he now had spent all of his points.

Name: Yuta Race: Mixed-Blood Elf HP: 6/6 MP: 11/11 Class/Level: Mage 1 Str: 0 Dex: 2 End: 0 Mind: 8 Magic: 8+1 Luck: 1 Agi: 4+4 Torso: Baisc Mage Robe Head: Legs: Basic Shorts Feet: Agile Mage Shoes Left Hand: Right Hand: Accessory 1: Accessory 2: Accessory 3: Accessory 4: Accessory 5: Accessory 6:

Skills: Wind Magic 3, Fae Wings 1, Archery 1, Elven Magic 3, Acrobatics 2, Elven Crafting 1 Passive Skills: Elven Physique

That was it, he was now done. Zenko, no, Yuta was now set and ready. He had already made sure the house was properly locked, he had installed some of the best security systems after one incident. He also made sure to eat well beforehand. The time dilation for the game start would actually be increased so that people had more time to enjoy the first few days, so it would be at 20x speed. As they doubled it for weekends, that would mean 40x speed. That meant for every single real world hour, one would have spent forty hours in game over the weekend, or twenty hours on a weekday. The devs also said with this that it was so people could enjoy things at a leisurely pace and not feel worried about time constraints.

Furthermore, they really wanted to let people live in this world, so this gave everyone the chance to really do that. While doing a full dive, it was sort of like your body was asleep, and it was like you were dreaming only with a perfect memory of everything that happened. So one's body tended to use far less energy and people wouldn't be bothered as much by the real world.

Yuta couldn't wait. After all, it was summer vacation, and this starting period would be for two weeks. Since people would essentially be sleeping while playing the game, it would count as a sort of rest, although it was still recommended for people to get actual sleep of course. But they would probably need less of it. As such, most people would be able to spend time playing. Two weeks times 20...basically everyone would have something like forty weeks if they used vacation time properly.

Eldross was basically set up for those who would want to spend large amounts of time in the game after all. There was some competitiveness between players for sure, and there would be various events and such. However, the main priority would be the deep dive. To be able to spend in game days in a row in the game.

that was when the process was completed, and his character was fully finalized. He suddenly felt overwhelmed the moment he appeared in the first town. Smell, sound, feel, the colors. Even the taste of the air almost overwhelmed him. At that moment, an NSS icon was flashing in the corner of his HUD. That said, it soon went away.

That sensory detail, they really did it. They made a full dive VRMMO.

The warm wind graced upon his cheek, but yet felt nice and cool as well. The sunshine poured down on him like a warm hug. The feel of the clothes he was now wearing. It all felt wonderful.

As he looked around, taking in the world, he felt like he got stared at a few times.

People measuring up the newbies huh? Probably beta testers.

As he looked around, he saw a variety of people. Dwarves, Elves, Humans, Beastkins. Pretty much everyone looked cute and beautiful too. However, as he went around, he was noticing he seemed to be collecting a few more looks. At first, he wasn't sure what was going on, but then he soon realized it. What everyone else had that he didn't.

Oh no! I forgot to get a weapon!

He considered that perhaps, spending all those points on shoes and attributes might have been a mistake. He even used the randomizer, which he was pretty sure was why he got Fae Wings. Or perhaps it was Elven Magic. But still, he was considering the possibility now he might have goofed up his build.

He was also a lot shorter then he was used to, but thanks to the NSS, it didn't bother him. That said, the looks people were giving him were kinda creeping him out. Some seemed to be of pity, while others seemed dismissive. It was kind of weird, but Yuta decided to not bother with that right now. Instead, the thing he wanted to do...was go fight a monster!

Considering the looks he was being given, he decided not to use Fae Wings in town. He didn't see anyone else flying around, so he knew he would stand out. He thought it might be a bonus skill from randomization. He wasn't sure why the atmosphere was like this, perhaps he would check the forums later and see if there was anything posted. For now though, he decided to go all out on his first adventure!

----------------------------------------

Del Forest. It was one of the very earliest zones one could visit, which also meant it was one of the lowest levels. Yuta had seen a few people wandering about, but he was making sure to avoid them. He figured they were probably those lucky enough to have friends, although he was pretty sure he saw a couple with them.

Oh, how nice. That guy has a girlfriend. I bet they make lovey dovey kissy faces all the time.

Yuta had such thoughts, although he was a bit playful in the tone. It was something he always saw main characters say in novels and manga and such, so he wanted to try it a bit...

...well, the fact that he was a bit jealous that they had such relationships was also true.

However, as he darted around, so far he had just ended up spying on other parties, not getting into battles himself yet. A lot of people had really cool looking weapons, staves, and such. One guy even used this really cool looking water spell that froze several goblins solid!

Incidentally, once you entered Del Forest, it seemed there was a PvP Protection System in place. Perhaps it was to avoid newbies getting hunted maliciously, but so long as you were in the zone, PvP was not allowed. This meant that Yuta could hunt without worry about being ambushed. There were other forests in the area that didn't have that protection though, and neither did the roads, so it was something to look out for.

There was also no minimap in the game. Actually, they kept the HUD very clean and clear, it was as minimal as possible. After all, controls, commands, skill and spell activation, was all done mentally, so you didn't need to click anything. And a lot of the rest was something you could collapse or minimize. In fact, you could have it all minimized and play with a HUD that remains totally clear so long as you dont get a notification.

While taking note of that, Yuta ended up taking off his shoes and walking barefoot through the forest. The feeling of leaves crunching underneath his bare feet, stepping on tree roots. Sticks bothered him a bit, but they were also enjoyable. And the feeling of the dirt. His feet were actually getting dirty, but thankfully there was bathing in this game. It was possible to undress completely, including underwear, and enjoy things like hot springs even. It was part of the realmism, the concept of really living in the world. That said, running around town naked like a pervert, or harassing or assaulting someone in such a state, was crossing that very strict line, and generally speaking would lead to someone being banned instantly.

On one hand, Yuta felt like since they were in game characters, and this was just his in game avatar, it would be a bit more fine. Plus, he was always very open and social with his friends in the past, before everything happened. On the other hand, for him, this was going to be the real him, this would be where he could really express himself and be how he was. So it could be embarassing as well. Although in truth, it was more so he was nervous about being so vulnerable with people again.

Yuta shook his head.

The past is in the past, real life wont matter in this game. This is my chance!

Yuta rallied himself, and right as he did, suddenly he encountered a monster. He quickly put his shoes back on and readied himself. He had no weapon, but he had magic. And his opponent was...a Fang Squirrel. A single monster, and one of the weakest.

"Alright. Lets do this!"

Yuta cast one of the wind spells he knew from his skill.

"Wind Bolt!"

He fired off the attack. It was the basic wind magic spell that created a projectile the size of a crossbow bolt out of wind, and fired it at a target. Wind Magic was significantly harder to detect and evade compared to other spells, since it was transparent in nature.

It hit the Fang Squirrel, but the monster kept charging at him. Yuta saw its current HP, and panicked a bit.

Name: Fang Squirrel Status: None HP: 6/10 MP: 0/0

Even though it was the lowest Wind Offense spell, he thought it would do more then that!

The Fang Squirrel attacked him with all its power, and dealt 4HP damage to him. That was over half his HP!

In fact, had he not upgraded his HP a bit, he would be dead right now!

He quickly took a step back and fired more Wind Bolts. However, his haphazard shooting reduced his accuracy. One of them managed to hit, but the rest missed completely. And every Wind Bolt spell cost 2MP, so he ended up with nothing.

In dismay, he proceeded to try and punch the Fang Squirrel as it attacked him, but with 0 STR, it did the bare minimum. 1HP damage. So he ended up dying, while the Fang Squirrel survived with 1HP.

Yuta respawned back in town, and he was incredibly saddened and disapointed by this.

I shouldn't have panicked! Uhg, I am so stupid! And I got no defense and only 6HP. But still...I dont know anyone yet, so I am a bit nervous to join a party.

Resolving himself, he decided to learn from his mistake and return to Del Forest. This time, he used Fae Wings to scout from the sky. At level 1, the time wasn't too much and he couldn't go too fast, but he soon found where he had been a moment ago. And also...

That guy...what is he doing?

He saw a Fang Squirrel that was still wounded, doing something where they had fought. He got a bit closer, and saw something surprising...and insulting.

The Fang Squirrel had relieved himself right where Yuta had died.

Thats a bit too much devs!

Yuta got annoyed, and proceeded to attack! The moment he did, the Fae Wings disappeared though, so he fell to the ground from high up. He still hit the Fang Squirrel, but he took 5 damage, leaving him with 1HP. He fired off a Wind Bolt right as it attacked him, and this time, the two ended up taking each other out.

"...I beat it" Yuta said, although while he was relieved he avenged himself, he had died again because of a stupid mistake he made. Apparently, Fae Wings was too low level to be maintained in combat. Still, he decided to go at it full swing, and charged right back into the forest! He wanted to level up at least, so he could increase his HP. That said, he also had some beginner gold he could spend, but he wasn't thinking of that right now. He was too focused on the forest and the battle, so despite the fact he could purchase a basic weapon, he hadn't yet.

So he ran through the town again, and decided to hunt those monsters!

This time when he returned to the forest, the sun was starting to set. He was also feeling exhaustion set in as well. With 0 END, the only reason he had not tired out yet was because he was hyper, excited and on adrenaline. But that was starting to wear off, so he was getting tired.

Perhaps that was why he didn't notice it, but he was suddenly attacked by not one Fang Squirrel, but two.

"Wind Blast!"

He decided to use a higher level spell. It cost 3MP, but it could hit two targets if they were closer together. It hit them both, and even staggered them a bit, but it only did 2 damage to each of them.

Still, this meant that he could defeat them with his remaining MP! Both enemies charged at him, so he used a Wind Bolt on the first one. it hit, but they were so fast they were already on top of him. He unleashed a second spell and killed it, but the other one hit him and dropped him to 2HP. It still had 8HP left.

"Wind Blade!"

Using up an entire 5MP, he unleashed a wind blade that hit the Squirrel. it took 7HP of damage, but it managed to hit him again, and he died.

As Yuta was respawning though, he got a notification. Apparently he leveled up!

After that, another notification came up.

[You have reached Level 2 as a Mage. For the first Mixed Blood Elf Mage to reach Level 2, you have received the title Silver Child]

As for its benefits, it gave a boost to Elven Magic and would provide additional benefits down the road. It also gave him two bonus points in addition to earning two bonus points for leveling up, and gaining an additional point in MP, Magic, and Mind. He decided to put one into Endurance, and the other he used to rank up Magic. He figured that if he wanted to do more damage, the magic stat needed to be higher.

Yuta wanted more time to sort through this, but he also wanted to test these things out. So he decided to run back to the forest to check things out again, but once he arrived on the edge, he found himself incredibly tired. The adrenaline had now passed in full, and he had well overexerted his stamina several times over with that low endurance of his. He was just barely able to find a nice tree surrounded by grass...and he ended up collapsing and laying down on his back in the grass, falling into a slumber.

EMH Thread: The Game has started!

Ames: Woo hoo! The game has started!

Ames: Well, its already the end of the first day, but I was having too much fun and didn't post till now.

Yuza: You also forgot to put stuff in the thread description too.

Ames: Yikes! Well, they are 'No being rude to players, no posting personal info of other players you don't have permission to, both in game info and real life info, and please specify if something is not verified yet, among the other basic common sense ones'.

Ruu: The rude one might be too vague, because sometimes people are just stating observations. I actually saw something pretty weird today myself.

Uzihara: Really, what?

Ruu: A Solo Silver Haired Mixed Blood Elf, with Fae Wings. Considering the game only just launched, no way he got that without using the randomizer.

Otto: ...

Peyta: ...

Uzihara: ...

Ames: Now now, everyone. Maybe he likes a challenge? Besides, the magic buffs are pretty cool and Elven magic has some fancy stuff in it. Or maybe he liked the random character so much he decided to stick with it?

Ruu: Yeah, but nothing really good for solo combat, at least at low level. Not only that, but I saw him in the forest later. He was using wind magic, solo, as a mage. He also fell because he tried to fight while using low level Fae Wings.

Otto: I am not sure whether to be jealous or concerned. I mean, Fae Wings is a pretty rare skill...but its really just there for flavor isn't it? Sure in higher levels combat flying is good, but its not that good.

Ames: Perhaps he was just messing around?

Ruu: Well, I saw him taking a nap outside the forest when I was just coming out, or maybe he was just full on sleeping? I took a screenshot because of how odd it was.

Ruu has posted an image file!

Ames: ...

Ruu: I know right?

Ames: ...he is kind of cute?

Otto: Erm, what? I mean, you are not wrong Ames...

Yokoha: I would love for him to be my little brother!

Peyta: He definently isn't a beta tester though. Oi Ruu, you should go and wake him up! If someone less decent finds him, tthey might use some skill to steal all of his stuff! He is also technically outside the forest still, so he might get PvPed by some jerk!

Ruu: I have totally depleted my stamina. The only reason I can post is telepathic typing.

Ames: I will rush in to save the cute boy!

Yuza: You know he couldd be an old man on the inside right?

Ames: Such a cute boy on the outside must also be cute on the inside!

Yuza: Oi oi!

Otto: Think she left already. I will head over as well. Monsters can spawn outside at night, the newbie might not know that, so he is still in danger.

Argus: ...I just joined, but did those guys charge off without even knowing for sure he was even in danger? Also wow that screenshot is cute, you sure thats not a girl?

Ruu: ...yes. Can you do us all a favor and check up on those two?

Argus: Yeah, I gotcha.

----------------------------------------

Yuta was blissfully unaware of what was going on in the forums, as he started to wake up. He was not sure how long he had been asleep for, but he figured he was well rested.

To think I wore myself out so easily, I should have been more careful.

Yuta picked himself back up, and headed out to the road. When he got there though, he suddenly got a strange series of notifications.

[You have acquired the title "Silver Wayfinder!"]

[Attention Server. The System will now be distributing titles to those who have had particularly notable experiences. For starters, to the player that has acquired the greatest amount of kills since the game has started will be given the unique title, Golden Warrior, based on their character build. For the one who has explored the most, the title Emerald Adventurer shall be provided! And for the one who struggled the most to overcome the odds, the title Silver Wayinder shall be given. To the one with the highest level, the title Ruby Hero has been given. And for the one who has slain the most players, the title Amethyst Assassin has been given!].

Along with the titles, each one got a thousand gold and 4 Stat Points. Yuta, who did not want to miss this chance, used three points to upgrade his crafting skill.

If I am going to have so much trouble in combat, then perhaps by also going the crafting route, I will be better off!

He then used the final point to level up Endurance, so he didn't tire himself out as quickly. Everything felt so real in the game, and even endurance would play into it.

Name: Yuta Race: Mixed-Blood Elf HP: 6/6 MP: 12/12 Class/Level: Mage 2 Str: 0 Dex: 2 End: 2 Mind: 9 Magic: 10+1 Luck: 1 Agi: 4+4 Torso: Baisc Mage Robe Head: Legs: Basic Shorts Feet: Agile Mage Shoes Left Hand: Right Hand: Accessory 1: Accessory 2: Accessory 3: Accessory 4: Accessory 5: Accessory 6:

Skills: Wind Magic 3, Fae Wings 1, Archery 1, Elven Magic 4, Acrobatics 2, Elven Crafting 3 Passive Skills: Elven Physique, Silver Wayfinder, Silver Child

Yuta kind of wanted to test his new abilities. That said, he was a bit nervous about what he had gained. Botth of his titles were more or less badges of shame, and for some reason both were silver. When he mustered Elven Magic, it was golden in color.

Perhaps its based on my hair color then?

It seemed they did not outright say who earned these titles, which was nice. However, there were a number of people who were always at the respawn point. It was possible people spotted him and would figure out he was the Silver Wayfinder. And while who had what would not be publicized, they would show in the stats what titles existed, as well as how many titles tthe person who held the most titles had, and how many there were in total. In other words, it was near guarenteed they would find Silver Child on that list, and he figured they would put two and two together.

Uhg...who even makes a title for "tthe one who struggles the most"!!!!

Even as he made his way back into town, he already heard the start of it. There were a bunch of people ridiculing the Silver Wayfinder title.

While enduring hearing about this, he made his way to an inn to get some proper sleep. He had a bit of starter money, so he was able to rent an inn room no problem, and go to sleep.

All the while not knowing he had just missed a few players who had gone to investigate.

I Want a Title Too Chatroom:

Yash: Ahhhg! I wanted a title so much!

Feb: Same. I get some of those titles, but...didn't they kind of award the Silver Title to some random newbie who justt had a hard time? Rather then pitying a super weak player, give it to someone who earned it!

Tragxik: Agreed! I swear, when I find that twerp, I am going to run my blade through him!

Agrath: I actually know what he looks like I think. If they are based on appearance, I witnessed a Silver Mixed Blood Elf respawn twice during the first day in town.

Feb: Wait, did he get one for dying? Thats utter crap!

Brexkek: We definitely gotta pound him then, maybe drag him into a side alley and then ambush him in town. As it turns out, the alleys are actually areas where PvP is allowed.

Yash: Hou? How do you know?

Brexkek: Got killed by that Assassin in one while I was trying to extort another player. Never even saw his face though, so I dont know what they look like? Killed me quickly, so he probably stole my prey too.

Tragxik: Lets get a few others together then, see if we get bonus points for taking down someone who holds a title.

Yuta had taken off his pants, robe, and shoes, and slipped into bed. Tomorrow night, he would remember to buy pajamas, supplies, spare clothes and underwear, and other things though. After he made some gold to afford them, of course. All the while not knowing he had attracted the attention of some jealous and malicious gamers.
