TL:DR — Thinking of rewriting this and focusing instead on some other stories I've been thinking about/already writing... Ones that have had, or will have more planning. But would very much appreciate reader feedback!

The rewrite won't be super major, mainly just fixing the Leveling and Cultivation.

Not much will change as I'm still on break, just that it will take an extra month or so until I finish the rewrite of the beginning and start posting chapters again.

Explanation/My Random Ramblings...

During my break, I made the 'mistake' of rereading the beginning of this story and did some retrospecting. I've come to realize that I screwed up badly!! My intention when I began to write this story was to have Levels and Cultivation mixed (i.e. Say the MC reaches level 1, that would equate to the first stage of cultivation). But, after I began (in about the 2nd chapter) I forgot about that premise. Instead, I split Levels and Cultivation and focused on neither. Essentially making both the Cultivation and Levels useless...

My first story is undergoing a rewrite, and honestly, I'm kinda thinking of rewriting the beginning of this story now as well.

I'm struggling to write more of this story. I will continue to write it, but as I learn more about writing, I've come to realize how (I don't want to say bad, but I can't think of another word.) Unplanned. I guess? This story, and my last, for that matter, is and was.

I'd really like to hear from you, the readers. Do you think I should postpone this story and rewrite the beginning, or should I just push through and continue writing as it is?

I also never explored the stats; it's all just random numbers that have no meaning. The story really could have no RPG elements and it would still function the same.

I jumped into writing this story much too fast. Truth be told, I came up with the idea while suffering from a mild heatstroke and started to write it with just the idea. What if a cultivator, who had reached the highest realm, remade his world into a video game?

That was it; no other thought went into it; I just started to write with that idea in mind and made up everything else as I went along.
