Prologue

In the shimmering realm of antiquity, when epochs stretched like rivers through the tapestry of time, a perilous tempest brewed.

The four beings, each an embodiment of the gifts they carry, gathered in the chamber shrouded in light.

Having witnessed Yarru's unbridled ambition, the four divine overseers look to each other for answers, their countenances a mosaic of concern.

Palomanthe stepped forward. "We must cease Yarru's unruly path," she implored, her voice comparable to the gentle murmurings of a distant melody. "For it is the balance of myriad races that maintains the vibrant harmony of existence. His designs would birth chaos, shattering the tapestry we have so carefully wrought."

Esperence, the verdant god of nature and healing stood tall, his voice resonating akin to the rustle of leaves beneath a summer's eve breeze. "Indeed," he concurred, his eyes shimmering with the wisdom of countless seasons. "The interplay of life, intertwined and interdependent, would be severed. We cannot allow him to sow the seeds of imbalance."

Aurova, the goddess of love and fertility garbed in robes that echoed the hues of forgotten truths, stepped forward, her voice woven with velvet sultry even as her countenance appeareddowncast. "To cede Yarru complete dominion over an entire race is to forsake the very essence of our craftsmanship," she cautioned. "The realms bear witness to our stewardship and the sanctity of their existence hinges on our vigilance. It burdens my heart that he has gone beyond reason."

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

United in purpose, the four gods devised a pact, melding their divine powers in an ancient ritual woven by threads of celestial magic. They cast a web of energy, a prison impassable by mortal or deity, confining the wayward god within its unyielding grasp draining some of his powers to weaken him and saving it in an urn fortified by the sacrificed life force of a sacred companion animal as insurance.

The dark clouds swirled overhead, blocking out the light of the sun. An ominous sense of foreboding hung in the air as the four gods stood before the great abyss that was now home to their fallen brother.

"It is done," said Zambini. "Yarru can threaten the balance no more from the depths of the Chaos Realm."

Beside him, Aurova nodded solemnly. "A necessary evil, but still an evil. To imprison one's own kin..." She trailed off, gazing sadly into the abyss.

From within came an enraged howl that shook the very stones beneath their feet. "You will regret this betrayal!" boomed the voice of Yarru. "I will break free, and I will destroy all you hold dear. Your perfect little world will fall to chaos and death!"

Esperence, met the cries with calm. "His influence will remain in balance. A little death in all things, to remind of life's fleeting nature. But total control he shall never have again."

Palomanthe still looked troubled. "Let us not hasten to celebrate, this prison will not hold him forever. He is the most cunning of us. We must prepare for eventualities."

With that, the four gods took their leave. But Yarru's enraged screams followed them long into the night, a grim reminder of the threat that still lay imprisoned...for now. Until one day, he would have his revenge.
