In this world there are people with magic and people without it,  the people are split while some don't mind it. Some people without magic feel they're at a disadvantage in jobs and strength. But people that studied them know they need more than magic to be the strongest.

A man stood in the rain holding a briefcase in his hand. The man had headphones on and the sun was shining. 

"You on your way?" a voice rang from the headphones.

"yeah all I gotta do is turn this corn- whew where the hell did that chill come from?"

Before the man could wonder a woman flew off the roof and landed on the ground in front of him. 

"Hey, who the hell!! Who the hell are you?"

Before the man could react his arms and legs were bound by chains made of ice. 

The woman looked at the man, her red eyes void of any emotion, her half-white half-blue hair messy from the long jump.

The woman pulled down her suit collar to reveal a black pegasus head tattoo on her neck.

The man’s confusion turned to panic and fear in an instant. 

"hey hey hey ok I'll talk I'll talk just don't kill me!"

The red-eyed woman opened his briefcase to find it was completely empty.

"an empty briefcase?" the red-eyed woman said.

"Yeah, it was gonna be a simple transaction, nothing more. Just let me go I got a family!"

The red-eyed woman looked up at the man after he mentioned his family. She noticed his wallet had fallen out of his pants, she opened it to confirm if he was lying.

His name is Kaoru Nakari he's 40 from Mikamia prefecture,  there's no cash in his wallet, only pictures of his wife and daughter.

"You're far from home. They are probably waiting..." the woman said as she released the ice chains.

"you should go to them"

Kaoru was shocked;   he started to make a run for it, but soon stopped and turned to the cold woman.

"t thank you uh"

"Maki...my name is Maki."

Kaoru smiled and nodded and made a run for it 

However

Two black cars appeared in front of them, grabbed Kaoru and took him away. Maki looked surprised and then feels a sudden pat on the back. "good job Maki!" a large bald man said.

"...Goramon I didn't call for assistance."

Goramom glared at her.

“Heh some way to say thank you eh kid? Just because you're his favorite doesn't mean you forget our code. The black pegasus way, we always take care of our problems by any means necessary. Just like you. You lied to him and gave him false hope heh you may be his pet but you sure are a member of our guil- 

The area become colder and colder, the brick walls started to freeze and Goramon could see his breath. With a bear-like growl he smacked the back of her head and maki fell flat on her face.

Goramon picked her up by her suit collar . "what the hell is wrong with you? You know damn well one of the commandments is respect your elders, you damn fool."

Maki showed no emotion. The cold air disappeared as she was put in the car and driven away.

The black cars pulled up outside of an abandoned warehouse. A man was screaming and bleeding from his lip to his toes. Gritting his teeth through it all... it's Kaoru.

"We won't ask again, where the hell is the money?" Goramon asked standing in front of him.

Watching from above was a tall, polished man. He wore an all-black suit that matched his black hair. His green eyes lit up with delight and he turned to the person standing next to him.

"see this maki? This is what we're about, here at black Pegasas. You needed to be reminded of it, you should know better than to attack a senior officer. This on top of the fact that, despite your ice-cold magic, you don't kill anyone. It would be so easy for you. I mean murder might as well be bonuses for what we have to do."

"...what did he do Mr.Johnny?" Maki asked. She wanted to finish that sentence with “to deserve this…” but given how her little act went last time and against the old man she’d be dead. So she decided against it.

Johnny crossed his arms and looked at the torture scene. "We know he's partners with someone who stole about 100 grand from us. We're trying to get the location of his partner out of him. Goramon bear magic never fails. Everyone's scared of a big bad bear, right?”

Johnny said that last part with almost enjoyment in his tone.

Suddenly a woman wearing glasses and high heels ran up to Johnny and Maki.

"Mr.Johnny sir we have more work to do, according to our team the group known as Red Dawn is on the move to the same street we're on. This could cause problems,sir."

Johnny chuckled "Heh of course they are always waiting to play heroes maki...take care of them will you?”
