Enoch left the war room and walked down the hallway, only to come eye-to-eye with the enemy. Standing at the entrance to the RecVed was a Revolutionary Army girl who looked like she had just woken up. In the fêted half-lit darkness Enoch could see that She had messy short hair, tan skin, and Bright Blue eyes that seemed to glow. This Young girl wore a sleeveless black undershirt and Jungle pants with a black belt. She carried a short sword on her right hip letting Enoch know that she was left-handed, grenades, and presumably flash bangs on her pant's buckle belt. In her right hand, a chain of keys softly chatted as she stepped further into the vehicle.
The two Purer's eyes meet, and the girl's eyes widen to the size of dinner plates. She dropped the keys when she saw Enoch standing in the corridor like a dark shadow, like a ghost that was never meant to be there in the first place.
The Girl Struggled to find the right procedures to perform or sputter out words as Enoch's hand fell to his
Broadsword as it is more conveniently located on his hip over his dual blades which were in his sheath on Enoch's back on the non-dominant side.
Enoch then swiftly unsheathed the sword from his hip, spreading his footing apart to form a fighting stance. The Revolutionary Army girl rapidly put two to two together slid her hands to the hilt of her sword and quickly drew. Enoch charged and swung from her right, and she blocked the strike with her sword, the force dropping her down on one knee. A loud CLANG resonated around the Camper. The Girl was stronger than she looked as she grunted trying to prevent herself from collapsing from the strike. Enoch drew back and fast, tempting the girl as she pushed up, charged, and slashed at Enoch's lower chest. Enoch drew back and swung his sword down to block. Her sword connected at an awkward angle with his own, and another CLANG rang out. The sword connected with his broadsword's guard. With the swiftness only a Complex gives a Purer child, Enoch sidestepped to her right and sent a mighty slash at a downright angle. The sword slashed lightning fast, slicing through her upper left shoulder and down her left clavicle, the sword lifting as he moved, only leaving a light cut at where the blade left flesh. The Girl tripped backward and fell, her sword clattering to the ground. The young Revolutionary Army girl fell hard right onto her uninjured side. Blood from her nasty wound spilled all over the floor, pooling in a viscous red puddle. Her shock delayed it, but she shouted in agony. Her Scream was ear-piercing, and she began to try to cover her injury with her uninjured right hand as if Enoch were not in the room just above her. Enoch quickly thrust his sword into her chest. Her screams quickly transitioned into a muted gurgle, and even that was silenced as her lungs filled with blood, and she fell flat and silent on the floor.
Enoch checked if the folder was still on him, and he quickly bolted from the RecVed. As he passed the threshold of the vehicle's door the door on the Ved on his left opened up and a person looked out immediately seeing him. He shouted at the people in the vehicle, and more of the lights turned on.
“Shit” the RecVeds and some tents opened up and combatants began to pour out. The quiet night was over. Hasasar suddenly called from the rally point up ahead.
“Enoch! What the hell is happening? It's a God Damn hornet's nest out there!” Enoch heard sword clashing as he approached. “Get your ass over here and help!”
Enoch's feet hit the dirt, and he began to move rapidly. Soldiers were stirring all over the place. Flooding from the RecVeds and the tents. Damn it! Damn it! I don't want the mission to fall apart on Me!
“Hasasar! Meet me halfway. We will get out the way you entered.” Enoch yelled as he approached their rally point.
When he found Hasasar, he was already clashing with a couple of Rebel soldiers. His slashes cut down Rebel after Rebel and rapid succession. Only to be locked up by a lucky strike. The rebel wielding a sword similar to the girl he killed held Hasasar's position, making his back vulnerable. A Rebel soldier had already taken to the juicy strike on the vulnerable enemy.
Like most Revolutionary Army soldiers, their armor was lacking, to say the least, with only a thin plate carrier protecting their vital organs. Like he was complaining about that, though. It made our work easier.
Enoch sheaved his larger broad sword and drew his signature dual blades from his back holsters. The white logo of Teravolt and Ennui Blade Works glinted in the light of campfires. Enoch dashed and thrust his Blades straight and true into the back of the R.A. Soldier near their spine. Their attempt to attack Hasasar while he was focused on holding the other rebel's blade was put to a very unfortunate halt and in one motion, Enoch cleaved down lighting quickly on the soldier's back, a rapid stab and slash. The strike incapacitated the soldier instantly, and Enoch used the blades still stuck in the rebel's back to throw him aside like a sack of potatoes. The motion ripped the blades from their back, leaving bits of muscle and blood on His blade and slamming the rebel to the dirt on Enoch's side. Enoch then moved to come back to back with Hasasar.
“Fuck did you, Enoch? You stirred the pot big time, and look where we are now.” Hasasar gave a deep belly laugh, but as quickly as his jovial laughter came, his features became deadly serious. “Ah! Have a plan, Boy?”
“Let me help you first, Haji!”
Enoch twirled from Hasasar's back
“This Camp is roughly an oval, and we are currently near the center. We have to break through at the point of least resistance before we're surrounded” Enoch looked around. The way Hasasar's entrance into the camp was already swarming with heavy armored troops, same as his path. The only way out was through the tents in the third quadrant. Enoch noticed that the quadrant of the camp on his left was unusually silent and empty.
“Cut through the tents on our left! Break out through the path of least possible resistance!” Enoch shouted and immediately banked left into the group of tents. Hasasar bolted behind closely trying to keep up. The side paths of the Encampment were a lot messier than the main trail. Litter lined the dirt and the occasional dirty latrine passed by as they weaved through. Occasionally. Several times Revolutionary Army soldiers would rush out and attempt to ambush and block the path, only for Enoch or Hasasar to cut them down with a few quick slashes of their blades. Enoch's rapid steps through the back trails were suddenly cut off by a huge BOOM as an Electrum-propelled grenade hit the trail a couple of meters ahead of them blowing dirt and litter into the air. The mix rained down on the duo dirtying their hair and clothes.

"Whoa! What the Hell!" Enoch yelped in surprise before a report of rifles sent them flying to the dirt. bullets were flying with the wiz of hot lead and the smell of gunpowder and Electrum mix powder filled Enoch's nose. The explosion left a big smoking pit in its wake and Enoch and Hassar took the opportunity to dive in for cover.
"Hassar! Call Air support! Now!" Enoch shouted as the booms and reports of shotguns and single-shot cartridge rifles roared overhead. Hassar fumbled for his radio, thumbed the dial, and Depressed the trigger.
"Call sign Hassar in need of imitating air support and ex-fill! I repeat I need Immediate Ex fill and air support!"
I couldn't hear the caller over the radio, but Hassar's response was clear. "Enoch, got that Flare?"
"Yeah."
"Good! Now we will throw that Flare! we sprint to the brush like our lives depend on it! Do not stop for anything understand!"
"Yes!"
"OK. One, Two, Three!!"
Instantly both boys were on their feet and were running full sprint. the Rebels were taking potshots at them. Some of which were a little close for comfort. Enoch felt something coming fast at him and threw one of his blades up instinctively. A bullet pinged into the blade's sharp steel and left a dent right at the point where it would have hit the side of his head if he was a little slower. This little revelation made him sprint harder towards the edge of the camp. As they approached the Dark Jungle that marked the edge of the camp. Hassar Yells for Enoch to "throw it!" Enoch pulls out the flare. Twisted and and Released the Cap. And Threw it. With a second’s delay, the flare glowed as bright and orange as the morning sun as it was thrown from Enoch’s hand and into the surrounding clearing billowing a thick white smoke. With the flare hitting the dirt Enoch and his Partner dived into the wet, Dense underbrush and trees and held as flat as possible. For long minutes they waited the bravado of rounds increasing. The Rebels were saturating the area around them with lead hoping to flush them out so their hunters could kill and gut them both. And time was running out for them both. But then Both boys hear the sound. A roar that made their hearts grow three sizes that night.
That Roar from above, Loud and fast. That Noise is followed by a series of Percussive Boom that shake the brush itself letting water droplets fall onto the Boy's head. The night then let out a roar of machine gun fire. The Sound barked into the night. the pressure of the gunfire dropping almost immediately.
Their Savors have arrived. The two Boys lifted their heads to look at the carnage consuming the camp.
The Helicopter was going in for a short and tight arch as it came back around for an Attack run. Large Fires engulfed the Revolutionary Army Camp, and the black smoke mixed seamlessly into the surrounding Night. Shots could still be heard as the remaining rebels fired any gun that they could get their hands at the new airborne foe. They Were quickly silenced as the helicopter went in for the attack run, unleashing a volley of missiles a machine gun fire that ventilated the rest of the camp. Any remaining flammable material went up massive explosions and started secondary fires that all lit up the jungle in flames.
The helicopter, a Jackal came to a hovering stop after making a long, lazy bank over the canopy where Enoch and Hassar lay. The helicopter landed in a newly burnt-out clearing and the doors opened. A bright, nearly blinding light shined directly in their faces.
“Dammit! Get that light out our faces!” Hassar shouted over the Rotarwash
The Jackal was a thing only the Myrian Empire could come up with. It had a pointed nose and a smooth, curved body. The Roaring blades were mounted in large tilt rotors on the sides of the aircraft above the doors. The rotors were large and powerful, capable of generating enough lift to carry the helicopter off the ground. The helicopter’s stubby wings carried a light armament of Hornet Missiles and fixed heavy machine guns around 34mm. The Jackal had dark jungle paint and the number “15” painted on the side. The Doors carried the Logo of New Global Securities United, a Rook Chess piece haloed by stars with the contractor's name beneath it. Those open doors showed several silhouetted figures. One was on a machine gun which carried the blinding spotlight and swiveled their gun away freeing our eyes from the light. The others hopped off, drew swords, and held position. Personal lights screen the dark jungle beyond.
“Enoch, Hassar! Come Forward!” One of them shouted.
Not wanting the be in the jungles any longer Both Boys got up and walked towards their fellow employees. The two NGSU employees a boy and a girl wore mat black bodysuits worn underneath jungle camouflage shorts and plate carriers stacked with pockets. Their helmets were locked at their sides and their faces were shown and hair whipped in the Wash of the blades. The two move to lift the shoulders of Hassar and Enoch as they move towards the bay of the Jackal. The noise of the propellers was deafening as they stepped into the bay and were laid onto waiting cushioned seats. The two NGSU employees, after laying Enoch and Hassar on the seats move and shut the door and the Jackal begins its assent into the sky leaving a burning camp and all of the dead and dying behind.
