The universe operates in a cyclical pattern, comprising of phases of creation and destruction. Currently, the universe is in a state of destruction, with the previous creator having expended nearly all of his lifespan in an effort to preserve it. However, the god of time has refused to accept the fate of the universe and has accelerated the churning of Angkor (the cosmic womb) to bring about the emergence of the next supreme god, who was intended to be born following the destruction of the universe, but has awakened prematurely.
