Deimos Radar installation.
In mars orbit was deimos. Which housed a huge radar facility designed to detect and lock on Asteroids for Laser arrays to shine on.
People were awake 24/7 as they constantly monitored the Asteroid belt despite the delay.
“Right, times up, we are getting relieved.” The boss says as he stretches, after that, he proceeds to dunk his decaf coffee. Before exiting the room and dressing up for the Shuttlecraft.
People were too tired to get up, and lowered themselves to the low as they tried to stand up.
The executive boss barges in, as he urges his crew to hurry up.
“Hurry the fuck up guys! Listen, drinks on the house in the steak hous-” The Boss was cut off as tablet screens embedded into the tables started blaring off alarms. As the Room retracted its alarm lights with a continuous red.
One of the crew jolted up from his seat due to the loud noise as he steadfastness to action and swipes up to reveal a 3d hologram of Mars orbit to its lagrange point.
And what immediately came up were nearly 12 large asteroids. Approaching Mars at nearly 50 kilometers per second. And located nearly 120 thousand kilometers out.
“Bossman! Estimated re-entry of said asteroids in ETA 40 minutes!” One of his belter employees says as she kept on calculating its predicted path.
As for the executive boss, he acted immediately as he gave out an order to the comms relayer.
“Send a tight beam to the Solar-Asteroid network now! And tell them we have asteroids of varying sizes from the size of deimos to phobos coming right at us!”
The comms officer nodded as he activated his order and sent the message. As outside the phobos, a laser was seen shooting through the sky as the message was received from ground zero.
“Fucking shit….werent those the 12 meter pebbles we detected nearly 100 hours ago? Those damn fucking tadpoles.” He said as the belter employee locks on each asteroids for the Network

Solar-Asteroid Network
In orbit, we are shown a network or constellation of large orbital railguns. Alongside 5 large solar laser arrays. Alongside another constellation of 5 dozen Missile platforms
Which were all operated by the UN branch UNAN, or United Nations Asteroid network.
These railgun platforms load up rounds bigger than the conventional ones. As they were accelerated at nearly 600 kilometers per second.
The railgun slugs penetrate the first asteroid, with dozens of missiles seen approaching and exploding upon impact of said asteroid with nuclear warheads. Which tempted the laser arrays to be fired and burn up the debris of the asteroid.

“First Asteroid down, proceeding to the next.” One of the network operators reports as we are shown a huge room filled with supercomputers and people operating. Being overseen by the Chinese Fleet admiral.
It was pretty clear the UNAN was being operated inside the Martian shatterdome.
We then proceed as we see the second asteroid suffering the same fate as it was weakened by kinetic damage. Shattered after being hit by dozens of nuclear torpedoes, and the resulting debris being incinerated into nothing.
“Second down…..third down………………8th down…………10th down……….11th down….” As the UNAN crew sighed in relief as the tension in their bodys was gone. They were confident the 12th asteroid would be destroyed the same way its “brothers” did.
Though, not all was gone as this asteroid was bigger than the others. Just a kilometer bigger than phobos as it was getting dangerously close.
The railgun slugs were then accelerated as they tore through the stealth tech. But, to be stopped in mere seconds as said slugs did not penetrate through the iron core asteroid. We zoom in as we see below the destroyed stealth tech. A large layer of Biomass.
The missiles started to come in as they impact and explode. With little to no damage as it didn't even pierce through the several Kilometer long layer of Biological mass.
The laser array came next, which did damage but was not gonna be fast enough.
“What the hell? Why hasn't our shots shattered it yet?” Fleet Admiral Hong asks in a confused gaze as one of the operators responds immediately.
“I don't know sir! The large amounts of heat being radiated from the asteroid resemble that of the Tadpoles warships!” Hong, still as he was, started to process the info. Before deducing that the fuckers Covered it in a layer of biomass.
“Have every fucking railgun aimed at that thing! Including the Mass drivers! I want that thing out of my sight!” The UNAN operators say “yes sir!” In unison as one of them dials UN ground force command.
On the surface of mars, we are shown the same mass drivers. Still aiming skywards as machinery inside loads one of its ship-killing rounds. Before accelerating them forward, with the recoil being handled by the shock absorbers. But with the force still affecting the ground, creating mini-earthquakes around the surrounding area.
The nearly 30 meter long rounds escape the atmosphere as their velocity gradually slows down slowly. Soon impact and penetrating the asteroid, cutting through the thick layer of biomass before igniting their internal nuclear warheads.
The asteroid explodes internally but isn't even nearly destroyed. With the biological layer being fried but with not nearly enough to eradicate to reveal the true asteroid.
With all options being exhausted, with the only one being launching their entire nuclear arsenal. Which has been strictly said to be reserved for the Upcoming tadpole invasion.
With Fleet admiral johnson, declaring a state of emergency and contacting all the fleets currently on mars to move to the other side of mars quickly while Broadcast are quickly displayed on every martian citizens devices in the middle of the night as they've only got 30 minutes left to evacuate to Vactrains.

This started a large surge as Vactrain stations are crammed while fights start everywhere in the illuminated night of Mars. With people sleep deprived, they can be really agitated.
As for the martian shatterdome, it is confident by its designers to survive the upcoming earthquakes and thermal radiation. While its large dome armor should prove successful against the resulting debris upon impact.

We see the constellation circling around its orbit, with it almost not being visible due to it facing the darkness of space. With the only thing visible are the multiple illuminated cities of mars. And with a stealthy object zooming past it.

We then moved to the barren deserts of mars, it was nearly -200C on the dark side of the planet as the iron, nickel, and sulfur red surface could not be seen. Well, that was before an automobile passed the screen. Moving at nearly 100 kilometers per hour.
The vehicle was clearly a ford model 556 martian. The most used vehicle by Martian citizens, at number 2 was the Tesla model martian-X. And at number 3 was the Mitsubishi Apollo.
The Ford martian vehicle was speeding through the rough terrain with its headlights being super bright. Brighter than even the most powerful flashlight commercially back then in the early 21st century. As it was also operated by a Martian citizen, ro more specifically, a Martian citizen with his family.
This family was attempting to escape via their personal automobile rather than relying on the vac train stations. Due to the fact fights are erupting everywhere and it is being crammed.
“Dad? Are we gonna die?” One of the kids asks as his brother barfed into a paper bag due to motion sickness and the bumpy ness. His mother held his hand as she reassured him.
“Don’t worry sweety, we will make it…your dads hidden bunker in one of the craters should be around here somewhere…” The mother says as her hands fidgeted. She was clearly very anxious and was having cold sweat.
The dad looked back as he reassured his son just like his wife. “Don’t worry, if I’m correct, GPS says my bunker should be around here somewher-“ The father was cut off as flash of light illuminated the dark side of mars.
“SHIT!” He said as he felt he was flashbanged, turning the wheel as the car flipped. With his entire family screaming.

Thermal radiation was at the tops as it moved at the speed of light. Melting and turning the surroundings of the impact into iron.
This thermal radiation reaches the family’s car as it melts its outer terior. Exposing the family to the radiation as they incinerate to death. With the shockwave sending the automobile flying…
The shockwave reached many cities as people trying to escape instantly die due to the shattering of their Eva suits and internal organs. With some high rise buildings tipping over as underground mines collapse due to the magnitude 10 earthquake.
This is joined with vactrains that just departed as their vac tubes collapse. With the people who thought they were gonna be safe obliterated…
People who took jets to escape are killed by the incoming shockwave as there airframe just gets torn in half.
Orbit.
We are shown the explosion…..as debris from the explosion escapes the atmosphere going at threatening speeds.
We are now shown multiple ring stations composed of jerichos and others. Which were currently rendezvous with multiple small evacuatee ships.
Our screen flickers to a mother and daughter, with their luggage packed as they prepare to board the ships to evacuate to earth.
“Mommy, I’m scared.” The mothers young 7 year old daughter says while tears were seen coming off her.
“Don’t worry sweetheart, we will surely escape from this cataclysm.”
Soon, they enter the shuttle.
“Attention all evacuees, we are ready for departure, please stay away from the windows as the resulting impact and re-entry of the asteroid will put you in temporary blindness..”
The ship's captain announces, as more than thousands of ships were seen detaching themselves from the abandoned ring stations. As they maneuver with RCS into an interplanetary course.
The same mother and daughter and multiple other families and civilians watch from their window. The night of Mars as it was pretty illuminated, just like on earth during the night.
“Goodbye mars,.” The daughter says as she waved goodbye to it. Which created a domino effect with other kids.
As the ship activated their fusion engines, the asteroid impacted the surface as the explosion was seen from orbit. With multiple people huffing air to gasp while some people simply fell over unconsciously…
“AAAH!” The daughter screamed as the explosion hindered her vision. With her falling to the floor as she started to break down in tears. With her mother trying to comfort her by running and hugging her…she knew this would be the end as the debris flung into a ballistic course was going at nearly 30 kilometers per second.
This said debris prediction was correct, as it escaped the atmosphere and was heading towards them.
“Attention all evacuees…..brace for impact and pray to god…” that was the last message before the debris impacted the ring stations. Tearing them apart as it simply created more debris. Before hitting the evacuee ships, also tearing them apart as the ultra fast bullets pierce through the hull and kill the reactor and people inside of it.
This commenced a domino effect, as anti-space debrisi spheres were overwhelmed and were turned to more debri….
Space-based rail guns were eventually hit, their laser close-in weapon systems also being overwhelmed as they were torn apart. This included orbital missile platforms as their nuclear warheads ignited…creating more accelerated debris.
The space debri started to hit more ring stations…..more space based rail guns… more space based solar panels….killing more people and military personnel…
Humanity’s strategic position in mars orbit was single-handedly eradicated and destroyed. With the resulting debris forming a collective constellation around it…
Humanity’s worst nightmare came to be…..Kessler syndrome in which the tadpoles could ignore….

The president was in the United States Center military command. Other than the Martian shatterdome.
She was currently being debriefed with her generals and admirals of the situation on Mars. This was due to the supposed asteroid that impacted it on its dark side.
“Mars was hit by a supposed super weapon that we, humanity, devised more than 100 years ago.” The debriefer/General said before swiping up to reveal a hologram of an asteroid. Covered in stealth tech.
“An asteroid covered in stealth tech, or more appropriately named, the stealth asteroid. It was a concept we considered to use on the CCP before realizing we could just do it with ICBMs.” The general explained before the hologram changed to a popular and realistic series called the expanse. Released in the 21st century.
“It was first used in sci-fi in this show that awfully realistically depicts our future. In season 5 by Marco inaros. That is where the inspiration came from.” He says before he swiped once again, with sensors changing to the next holographic image which showed mars. Covered in a cloud of debris.
“We are also entirely cutted off from Mars, this is due to the Kessler syndrome it experienced from the impact of the asteroid. Which flinged debris at high speeds, which tore through our space infrastructure in mars orbit.” He said as an animation played, simulating what happened..
“We also know the tadpoles can bypass this as their debris clearing technology is way more advanced than ours.” He said as the hologram shut off.
“So what I can recommend is that we stay here and wait, have all our deep space sensors open and intercept any suspicious asteroid we detect by firing our experimental antimatter missiles that resulted from project venture stars' defense research.”
The general finished his debriefing while his counterparts in the navy and other generals started discussing with each other. Agreeing with his plan as the president and stood up to express her opinion and decision.
“I agree with your plan, general, but there’s one flaw in it…you did not include our watchtower satellites that can penetrate through our own stealth tech.” The president said, as the general responded.
“But mam, it’s still in its prototype stage.” The general counter-argued but was met with an answer. As the DARPA director stood up.
“Not really, it has already been commissioned. We just haven’t launched it into its orbit as of yet.”
The general just stared at the director, before sighing.
The president just packed her things as she was prepared to leave.
“Well gentlemen, I guess we can end our meeting here. We will have our next meeting tomorrow on Luna to meet with the important personnel and members in the venture star.” Before leaving through the door, which was followed with her generals and admirals packing and talking with each other.
