Time marched on and I am now a lot stronger, faster and I think maybe ever smarter than I was before. My core has increased in size a lot initially if it was a ping pong ball it is now a basketball and a can do a lot more with is I discovered. Apart from strengthening myself and enhancing attacks I could also heal myself with the light. It happened one day when I was cut on a rusty nail and unconsciously focused the energy into the wound and it healed in seconds. I can also heal others as I practices with a wounded cow in one of the fields. Based on this fact I decided to dub my energy as light attribute. As I can heal and stuff.
Racheal seems to have a darkness attribute as I noticed when she puts energy into other things they get corrupted. She only done it so far with food however. Also so far as I can tell her core is a lot smaller than mine and I not sure if this is because she is smaller or what?
The best thing I have found so far though is that through channelling energy into my throat is that I can make more sounds other than barking although nowhere near enough range to speak yet sadly.
I have however run into a problem however and that is that my core won’t get any bigger anymore and I not sure what to do about it.
One day while me and Racheal where out putting fence post into the ground. She had noticed how strong and smart I was so I actually helped.
“Rex can you push this one in” (Racheal)
I naturally was happy to oblige and was about to push the post in with my paw when there was another flash of light and a thunderous bang fearing another lightning strike was about to happen I dove onto Rachael, but no strike came instead there was what sounded like a piece of paper being ripped only a million times louder and then the suction force came.

Using my energy I tried to resist as did Racheal however we were both totally unsuccessful and were flung into the rip in space. Flying through the hole I made sure not to let Racheal go and she me. We flew though what I believe to be a worm hole for what felt like hours but was actually seconds until we hit solid ground, and I passed out from the impact which I thankfully protected Racheal from.
When I woke up I was lying in a forest with Racheal next to me on the ground still unconscious. Nearby there was a fire going with a man in what looked to be scale armour sitting. Roasting I a giant pig over the fire. It was huuuuuugggggeeeee like way bigger than me.
He noticed me stirring and glanced over.
“Hey here little one” he said “I’m not gonna harm you.”
He said this to me as if he expected me to understand him which was impossible right?
“Here have some food” he said as he offered me a whole pig leg.
“I’ll explain what happened to once your friend wakes up, I’m Fenrir by the way, what’s your name”
Rex a thought to myself but obviously couldn’t answer him.
“Rex? Like a king?” Fenrir said with a chuckle.
I was startled, he can read my mind?
“Yea it’s an easier enough trick to do once you get strong enough. Normally I wouldn’t but obviously you are not yet strong enough so channel Ki to allow you to speak”
Ki is that what the energy is called I thought?
“Wow you don’t even know that? Where on Gaia are you from? Oh well we can get to that later. Eat you will need to keep your strength up.”
And so I did. Still confused I ate the whole pig’s leg when Racheal started to stir.
At first she reacted much the same as me until Fenrir told us he would explain what was going on.
