I stare at the pants before me i had been told that they were women's , I remember what the measurement is of.
"Are you sure about these measurements? They seem off. Maybe your tape was stretched when you got them?" She says. I know they are wrong, and i don't know why she's questioning it.
"They are alright." I say sternly, "Just finish up." I say. She sighs and continues sewing. I sit and watch, she's done, the pattern is correct, no mistakes. She takes the shirt and hangs it with the others, I stand up.
"Good work. I'm heading home for the night." I cant understand cloth, give me leather and metal and i can make you anything you could ever want, but cloth.
"Alright Mr. have a nice evening." She says. I leave.

The streets are busy, the people are loud. The air is filled with the smell of meat cooking. People are shouting, selling, bartering, laughing. The sun is starting to set and the city is lighting the lamps along the cobbled streets. The tavern is loud and full of people, but I walk past it and down the street to my house. Ever since the prince had left for war the kingdom was peaceful. There were no battles, no blood, no violence. Things were normal again. My house was large, my shop was downstairs and my house was upstairs.
I go inside and the air is cool. The light is fading as the sun is setting. I turn on a lantern as i head downstairs to finish packing my stuff. Tomorrow I take a village to a town and start my life there. It's a few days away and I want to be ready to leave tomorrow. When I'm finished I head upstairs and light some candles, my kitchen is cold, so is my bed.
My house has two rooms, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The few thing i own are in a chest next to my bed. My furniture is bare, my kitchen is empty. Its been two weeks since I've packed, i have been eating at the tavern and sleeping on the floor. I go into my room and sit on the floor. I doze off at I fiddle with the pendant around my neck.
