CHAPTER 1 “THE FORGOTTEN”

CHAPTER 1 “THE FORGOTTEN”

I woke up in a damp and dark room with the only source of light being a single bulb hanging from the ceiling. I was lying on a hard concrete floor and my head was throbbing. I was disoriented and couldn't recall anything, not even my own identity, where I was, or how I got there. My arms and legs were tied to the floor with thick ropes, leaving me completely helpless. The ropes restricted any movement and I felt hopeless.

It wasn't long before the door to the room opened, and a tall and muscular figure appeared. He had a shaved head and cold piercing eyes that made me shiver. He was dressed in military fatigues and was carrying a whip. The figure approached me, looking down at me with a cruel smile on his face.

"Welcome to your new life," he spoke in a thick accent. "You have been selected for a special program, and you will be trained to become the best soldier there is." He untied the ropes, lifting me to my feet. Although I tried to resist, I was too weak and unsteady to fight back. The figure led me down a long, dark hallway and into another room. This room was brighter and more clinical, with tables filled with medical equipment, and an X-ray machine in the corner.

"You will undergo a physical examination," he continued. "And then the real training will begin." The next several hours were a blur of fear and pain. I was subjected to a battery of tests, poked, and prodded in ways that I couldn't have imagined. They took X-rays of my bones and brain and strapped me to a table, administering electric shocks to my body. I screamed, cried, and begged for them to stop, but they just laughed and continued their cruel experimentation.

Once the torturous examination was over, I was thrown back into the dark room, barely conscious. I lay there for what felt like days, my body aching, and my mind blank. I felt lost and hopeless.

Finally, the door opened again, and a figure appeared. He walked over to me, knelt beside me, and spoke. "You are ready for the next stage," he said. "You will be given a new name, a new identity. From now on, you will be known as 'Ghost'."

I had a strong feeling that I was someone else before all of this, that there was a life before I became a weapon, but every time I tried to recall my past, a burst of pain shot through my brain, like a white-hot knife. I soon realized that this was a result of the torture I had endured, as they had altered my mind, making sure I could never remember who I was before.

As the days passed, I began to accept that I would never escape this life. I was a Ghost, a shadow, a weapon, with no past and no future. I was no longer a person, just a tool to be used and manipulated. The torture had stripped me of my humanity, and I was now just a mere shadow of my former self.

This life of torture and pain became my reality, and I was trapped in it, unable to escape. The once bright and vibrant person that I once was was now gone, replaced by a weapon with no name, no identity, and no past. I was now just a Ghost, a tool to be used for their purposes. The torture had taken everything from me, and I was left with nothing but pain, fear, and darkness.
