Studying is something anyone can do, you can study to learn to cook, you can study for school, studying is not hard depending on what you're trying to learn.

A boy was looking at his phone while considering what to do today, besides going to school there wasn't anything in his mind, and he wasn't fond of playing games online since a lot of communities were toxic.

–It's half past six, I have to get ready so I'm not late for classes...

"Okay, okay, no need to pressure myself, I'm already in a pinch."

He got up of his bed and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wet his hair.

Let's talk about his world while he's getting ready for school.

The year was 2015, Earth was suffering from human activity as usual, exploitation, pollution, wars, it was a 'peaceful' time.

Middle East enjoying the money brought by oil drilling, West setting up stages for their industries, East growing their empire by absorbing technology.

Looking at the kid he had a big family, two parents, three siblings, although he was the oldest he wasn't fond of the idea of having to take care of his siblings troubles, one reason was that they didn't respect him, second was it was tiresome.

And if something can go wrong it will go wrong.

He was running towards his school at full speed, it was 6:55 and he couldn't afford to lose time, luckily there were no turns to his way and he could arrive in time before the gate closed and the security guard gave him his stinky eye.

Arriving at the main avenue he couldn't help but be startled by the red light.

"How am I supposed to arrive in time? It takes a lot for this thing to open up!"

-Sigh, I should've asked father to bring me.

picking up his phone in his pocket he opened an app and tapped a button.

-Time to go.

The light was green for him to pass and he immediately run even though he was walking on the crosswalk but he couldn't help since he had to arrive before the gate closed.

Running through the gate he didn't blink towards the security guard that gave a little laugh towards the short kid.

"Finally"

He walked to the end of the classroom and sat at the last row of chairs behind a pair of sisters.

"Hmm, another day in hell."

-Yo, little guy, do you solved the math job?

"And that's the beginning of my day."

-Yeah, but I don't know if it's right.

-If it's you, it's right.

The guy said while extending his hand to the boy, he then took his papers out of his backpack and passed them.

It was a common occurrence but he wasn't bothered by it, as long as they don't went to pester him for those matters he wouldn't mind giving a paper or two.

He had a printer in home anyway, he always made two or four copies of his homework in case someone wanted to pick it up, he wasn't bullied or anything of the shorts as people paid for the papers.

The boy looked at his left and saw a certain classmate of his, she had blond hair, green eyes and a showy phone case filled with stickers.

-Victoria? Uh, fine I guess. -Said the boy while picking up his books and putting them on his desk in case he needed to be ready for battle.

-Wow your phone is so nice.

-You think so? I've had it for two years.

-Really? It looks as good as knew!

-Thanks.

He said while giving a small smile, soon the teacher entered the class, he began to solve a few exercises in the book while putting earphones to suppress the noise of the classroom.

-Teacher why he can listen to music and play on his phone?

Said a girl with long straight hair and tanned skin, there was nothing of worth in her rather than wearing stylish clothing.

-Leave him alone, why don't you mind your business? -Said Victoria while looking annyoed at the tanned girl statement.

-She's right, hey, let me take a look on what you're doing on my class...

-Teacher? Ah, I was finishing up to solve all the exercises in the book, to not have to worry about it later.

said the kid while looking up at the teacher with an innocent expression. The teacher stared at the papers on the desk and then at the earphones that weren't even connected to anything.

-You already finished the exercises in the book?

-I think so.

Victoria slowly hid her notebook under the the table while avoiding the teacher's eyes that weren't paying attention to her, while Clair, the tanned girl, didn't mutter any more words at the boy wearing earphones, since the teacher ignored it and went back to his desk.

-Then class, you should solve the exercises from pages 135 till 138, you have to give me it today.

The boy used earphones because it helped to focus on his tasks, even though he was in class, he would rather have earplugs than using earphones but he never find the time to buy on them.

Victoria tugged at his shirt and brought her mouth in the boy's ears.

-When it's the lunch break can you come with me?

He felt his heart skip a beat at the way she spoke to him.

-Alright.

Victoria retreated and continued to copy his questions and answers while he... He just read the book, "I will ask him today, if it's good, then be it, if not...".

As such the four morning periods passed by without anything worth of happening.

The school where Victoria, Clair, and the others studied was related to the government, specifically the state, in resume as long as you were top cream you could study there, to make things better if you managed to stay on the top markers of the school you would receive interesting rewards for your grades, such as laptops, money, holiday vacation and others.

The subjects on the State School were languages, physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, philosophy, sociology, arts, sports, history, geography, financial and business formation.

They had classes in all week days, except for sunday since the Education Secretary wasn't tactless to not let one day of rest through the week for the students.

Back to the class the bell rang and the teens run out of their classrooms to manage enter in the cafeterias before it became too crowded, it was a gigantic school, housing at least twenty-four thousand students everyday, such a hurry was understandable.

Victoria walked to the school's green area, there a labyrinth was held, made from mulberry brushes it was well packed without gaps in the walls and three metres tall.

-So, what do you want to talk about? -Asked the boy while picking up a berry from the labyrinth wall.

Victoria sit in a bench in the labyrinth and waved her hand for him to sit beside her.

-So, we know each other since the beginning of the year, would you like to be close to me?

-You mean friends? I see no problem.

"That's what she means obviously, I'm not the girl's type."

To understand his statement here is a description of him, he is 14 years old, 150cm in height and weighting 40Kg, he had brown wavy hair and a slightly tanned skin tone, his eyes colour was a strong shade of almond standing to the dark side while his lips were a bit rosy.

Simply he was short and skinny, not that he minded those aspects of him, even he was interested in a girl he wouldn't make the first move, because, he had nowhere to get his confidence out.

"Rather than a good brain and loyalty I can't provide anything to a woman." He thought while depreciating himself.

Victoria looked at him before breathing out softly.

-I mean, we can be friends but I want you only with me, is it alright?

-Uh? Sure.

-I, I am glad.

Victoria spoke while smiling softly at him.

-So, do you want a hug?

She said while getting up from the bench and making him stand as well.

"Wait, what?" He thought while his body stiffed.

She was taller than him, being 162cm in height, but she didn't wait for his reply and immediately went to hug him tightly.
