I hope you will give me a chance as you read this book, I'm getting better at writing and I do hope you stick with this book and see it through to its end with me.

I'm working just on my own here so if anyone happens to spot anything wrong in my writing, such as the story no longer makes sense or plot holes etc. please do speak up, also if you see grammatical errors or the likes id appreciate being told :3

Deep inside a Dungeon monsters die, monsters are created and die, over and over this cycles continues. A Dungeon creates monsters out of Life Essence to defend itself, it harvests Life Essence from its surrounding environments, the plants, the animals and the humans give off small amounts of Life Essence into the air and is condensed into Life Crystals inside the earth. These Life Crystals are drawn to each other and when they reach another Crystal they fuse together, growing in size, once enough Crystals fuse together a Dungeon Crystal is born.

In a certain village called Wright, part of the Estoc kingdom, there is a rampant serial killer his name is Shade the Deceiver. To our story he is very important, his murder spree numbers quite a few human girls, 11 to be exact, some very full of Life Essence. The village has to create a graveyard for the deaths, its still a small village that has only recently been created and they had yet to suffer any deaths.

This fateful graveyard will feed the earth and create many Life Crystals, these Crystals fuse together and form a Dungeon Crystal. In the ground the Crystal has not yet gone under any changes and waits in the ground for more Crystals, it doesn't have to wait long. Our murder Shade has gone out and killed some more, unfortunately he himself is one of the 7 new graves, creating more Life Crystals, more than all 11 girls.

Once the Life Crystals have finished merging, our Crystal feels a hunger, a strong desire to eat the earth around it. It releases the stored Life Essence and allows to expand in tendrils around itself and then pull them back into itself, absorbing the dirt as Life Essence. It continues to eat its surroundings over the next few weeks, absorbing the dirt and creating caverns and tunnels. Looking for more Crystals to absorb and more Life Essence.

After a few weeks of tunnelling the caverns open up to the surface far away from Wright Village. Progress of digging has slowed down due to lack of Life Essence, the Dungeon Crystal replenishes from absorbing from nearby Life Essence in the air and earth around it. The small amounts in the area has been already sucked dry, living solely off the Life Essence it takes from the earth and this is why it takes weeks to tunnel a few hundred meters to the nearest source of strong Life Essence.

After two months the dungeon has opened up a total of 7 tunnels into the forest and slowly but surely the wildlife and plant life are slowly spreading out into the caverns inside the tunnels. Which means more Life Essence for the Dungeon Crystal to absorb, the Dungeon Crystal has an influence range where it can absorb Life Essence. The Life Essence which is released by Village Wright is being absorbed because it is in such close proximity to the Dungeon Crystal and thus within its influence range, the tunnels into the forest create influence to cover almost half of the forest, but not as much as the Dungeon Crystal creates.

With the extra Life Essence from various animals living inside the tunnels, of which some have rather dangerous life forms such as a small family of Bears and a pack of wolves, the Dungeon Crystal is able to make more tunnels for 4 hours with a downtime of 20 hours, compared to 1 hour and 23 downtime. The Dungeon Crystal has gotten use to expanding and then sleeping during the time it regains the lost Life Essence, normally a Dungeon Crystal would kill and absorb any life forms near or in inside its influence range but our dungeon seems to want to leech Life Essence, like a farmer rather than a butcher.

Over the next week whilst our Dungeon Crystal was expanding more tunnels into the forest to allow its influence to spread to the parts outside of its influence, it encounters a collection of strange creatures inside one of its tunnels. These small green creatures wielding strange stone weaponry wanders into the cavern which the bear family has occupied, the bears reacted rather violently, tearing the small green creatures to pieces or crushing them under their big paws and some being bitten to death. The Dungeon crystal has the urge to absorb their corpses, immediately it starts the absorption process and the buzzing feeling it feels when it starts is almost addictive.

The next day the Dungeon Crystal feels energetic and overflowing with Life Essence after absorbing the creatures, before at full capacity it could dig a tunnel 5 meters high and wide for 100 metres now he was able to make 4 tunnels of the same specifications. During the next day the Dungeon Crystal tried to make more tunnels and found it could still make as many tunnels, so now it could make tunnels for 16 hours, one at a time, it realised it could create the same amount of tunnels. The next morning it tried to make the same amount but could only complete 2 tunnels, so it can make 400 metres of tunnels but it required 4 times as much rest time in between, now it took 80 hours for its Life Essence to regenerate completely. Absorbing the green creatures increased its capacity but the regeneration of Life Essence was still the same as before. The next day the Dungeon Crystal starts working on making tunnels but only makes them slowly, normally it went as fast as possible absorbing 1 meter of the tunnel each minute, now it was absorbing the dirt at a quarter of the speed which allowed it to dig tunnels almost constantly now.

One month later the Dungeon Crystal was examining the family of bears which had given birth to a litter of cubs, 3 new cubs joined the bear family and these cubs felt different to the Dungeon Crystal. It could hear their thoughts when he focused intently on the cubs and could even give them some instructions, wondering why these bears responding to its suggestions it tried to examine them in more detail and all of sudden the vision which allowed it to see all of the dungeons area of influence as if it were daytime always, started to change and everything faded mostly out so as if things were transparent and inside the 3 bears was a very tiny blue Crystal the same colour as the Dungeon Crystal but a much lighter colour than the deep blue it gave off. It examined some more of its area of influence and only inside the tunnels it found many insects with even tinier Crystals inside of them and it came to the conclusion that anything born inside the tunnels were born with a small Crystal that seemed to be related to the Dungeon Crystal and would listen to subtle commands.

Over the next month the Dungeon Crystal played around with the creatures that had cores inside of them and had them breed if it was possible, the cubs were of course too young so nothing much could be done their. During this time its Life Essence regeneration had increased by one tenth, the Dungeon Crystal tweaked its tunnel building speed to compensate and managed to fine tune it ever few days to be always constantly absorbing dirt to create more tunnels and caverns. In one such tunnel it broke into and underground lake and found many different types of creatures inside of the water, the water rushed into his tunnel, the released pressure pushing the water into its tunnels, flooding a few of them as well as bring some new life with it. The Dungeon Crystal could feel the creatures inside its tunnels but not the ones in the underground lake, it wondered why since its influence spread to the lake and even into some of it, it tried to push its Life Essence into the earth and water around the cavern and found that it became a part of its influence properly now. Once its Life Essence was pushed into that area it truly became part of its influence, so it tried the same above ground in the forest and found that as it filled the areas with its Life Essence it just seeped out into the air and whilst the forest did become part of its influence just long enough to command it to come into the tunnels before the Dungeon Crystals Life Essence seeped out of the animal and plant life, a few deer and rabbits and such forest life entered the tunnels but they quickly became food for the wolves and bears.

The plant growth inside the tunnels had also gone wild with the pulse of Life Essence and the Dungeon Core found it could inject Life Essence to speed up the growth of the plants and spread even faster and deeper into the tunnels. Over the month the grass, moss, vine like plants, a few flowers and a lot of herbs had begun to spread throughout the entire tunnel system, which by now spanned several kilometres underground, and the Dungeon Crystals Life Essence regeneration has increased that it can now dig through the earth as fast as it can make one tunnel and never run out of Life Essence. With all the spare Life Essence the Dungeon Crystal is attempting to push Life Essence into the bears which do not contain Crystals, by injecting it into them it seemed to react rather badly and the injection of Life Essence was too much for the bear to handle and it died from too much. On the second attempt on the remaining bear, coincidently the female bear, it tries to inject Life Essence in by tiny amounts at a time and giving the bear time to recuperate. Over two days the bear has been injected many times and now the Crystal inside her is currently the largest of any crystal in the dungeon, apart from itself, and it seems to become stronger from the additional Life Essence.

One week passes and over the week the bear has been injected with Life Essence so much that the Crystal has expanded so much that it is now visible in her skin, this doesn't stop the Dungeon Crystal. It only drives it further injecting more and more until during the next week the bear is now made up entirely of Crystal and has gone to sleep and doesn't appear to be waking up at all, the cubs now have no source of food so the dungeon is redirecting some deer that it currently controls to the cubs caverns which they happily kill and eat. Over the week the supply of deer is starting to run low so the Dungeon Crystal tried to create a deer but it was a horrific pile of gore that even the cubs wouldn't eat, it also ate almost all of the Dungeon Crystals Life Essence so practice has been slowed down to one attempt per day.

The cubs are starting to get thin and the progress with creating an edible deer with Life Essence is not working at all how the Dungeon Crystal expected and its frustration with it is being taken out on the earth surrounding it, which is being blown up in fits of anger. After many mutilated tunnels, it gets the idea to absorb a deer so that it can examine it properly and try to recreate it as it was meant to be. The sacrificial deer get absorbed the next day upon where the Dungeon Crystal has brought it to its chambers so that it can examine it in close proximity and whilst the poor thing was still alive it was absorbed, along with a few yelps and screeches of pain from the deer, the Dungeon Crystal started analysing the deer, its structure, its mechanism and its Life Essence. Upon absorption the Dungeon Crystal suddenly has an imprint of the deer now that it focuses hard on how to create a deer from Life Essence, the experiment is a slight success, the deer is still deformed but the cubs will eat it now.

During the next month, just a few weeks in, the crystal bear suddenly starts to crack and break, splinters of crystal snapping off and chunks falling away, suddenly a bear shaped human is curled up on the ground. The bear girl looked much like the younger humans of 10, with bear paws on her hands and feet and a coat of fur on most of her body, part of her belly, her chest and her face with mostly fur free, plus a bear tail. She continued to sleep and a few days after the transformation the Dungeon Crystal found its Life Essence capacity was halved, either it lost part of its capacity due to feeding the bear so much Life Essence or it was using up half its Life Essence, it didn't know because it had no way of knowing other than it had to slow down tunnelling to half speed. It resumed its tasks and set about digging more tunnels and trying to create more life inside its tunnels, it started to find the plants which gave off the strongest Life Essence and it weeded out the weaker ones and coaxed the stronger plants to thrive. The animals did this themselves, they hunted other creatures, the deer ate plants and the bears and wolves ate the deer's, most of the deer's were created by the Dungeon Crystal though, the bears and wolves ate many of them and in the lake the smaller fish ate the plants and then bigger fish ate them, again the bears and wolves at these too, so it had to make more fish to compensate their appetite. Thus its duties were simple and the Dungeon Crystal shut off part of its mind and decided to join the Crystal Bear Girl in sleep till she woke up or something exciting happened.
