The smell of sulfur and the loud engines of planes could be heard. Fire and shouts emanate through the streets. Cries of children could be heard, calling for their parents. The world was at war. Two nations, the Klaus and the Florenz, have raged war on the very continent they harbored. Many days of battle and many more to come, but a new war is coming to them, they just didn't know at the time. Lights shattered the sky, cracks and folds onto the world before they knew it. Monsters, small and large, started appearing out of these rifts. They sundered the forests, ate trough the mountains, and even sucked the waters dry. No one knew why this anomaly happened, but it made the civil war stop. A treaty between the two nations to combine into one, to stop these monsters invading their homes. Not only did the monsters show up, so did the supernatural. Few heroes were chosen, those who had powers beyond human expectations. Those who bared the powers, where called "Mystiques." They tore through monsters with their enhanced strength, their quick minds to build weapons, and the ability to stop time for a brief moment. They built their kingdom with the new nation, gave others power to fight back. Now a school opening for those who are in need of training, to harness their abilities, to achieve greatness. The world is not yet a safe place, but here in the city "Tartarus," it is much safer.
