This is not a Frameshift chapter.
If this were part of the MIT Mystery Hunt, I would say "This is not a puzzle, nor is the statement that this is not a puzzle a puzzle in its own right".
(I'm not associated with MIT; I just like puzzles.)
First: I have a new story! It's called Quill & Still, it's an alchemy-focused crafting litRPG with egregious civics and a whole lot of cozy wholesomeness. There's more lab safety procedures than you can shake a fume hood at! (If you can shake a fume hood at something, that's very impressive.) It's at the top of Rising Stars, so... why not go take a look now?

Second! I have made concrete progress towards the Frameshift rewrite, of the "pacing, structure, character, theme" kind. I'm going to be rewriting the entirety of the pre-party chapters, doing a substantial edit on the party arc, and partially rewriting the first half of the Sky Kingdom. The rest is mostly staying as-is, though I might bring the start of the tournament phase proper in the Tournament arc forward for pacing reasons.
I do think it's likely that I'll be, as I had planned, writing a post-Frameshift mini-arc, maybe 6 or so chapters of relaxation and unwinding and low-stakes stuff.
I'm going to start actually rewriting Frameshift in early 2023. I don't expect to be done before Q3 2023 at the earliest. Once it's done, I'll be posting the mini-arc here, leaving it up for a couple of weeks, and then stubbing the story to go to KU.
Anyway, go read Quill & Still! That's all, good day.
