At first there was nothing but the void. Slowly a creature of pure chaos swam in the void. After several millennials he got bored enough to bring two others to life. These two would later be known as the Twin Goddess’s of Light and Shadows. When his two daughters were born the empty void began to glow. The Light coming from one of the twins caused heat. As time went on weird things began to happen, including the creation of the sun and planets. The twins both aided each other and eventually they filled the empty void.

One of the planets slowly began forming life. Centuries passed as life slowly made its way out of the oceans onto land. Two races in particular seemed to lead the rest. A group who called themselves Angels, and another group who called themselves Demons. These two tribes each followed one of the two goddesses and were constantly at war with each other. Soon the other races got caught in the fighting leading to a clear 50/50 divide between everyone. Of the nine races the followers of the Sun Goddess included, Angels, Elves, Levithans, Ogres, and roughly half the Humans. The Shadow Goddesses followers included the Demons, Beastfolk,Lizardmen, Dwarves, and the rest of the humans. A few other races also existed however they didn’t follow either side. These included the Dryads, Dragons, Phoenix’s, Hydra’s. And Saytr.

The twins knew that the fighting was going to do nothing but cause problems for everyone.

How do we fix this? Asked the Goddess of Shadows

The goddess Illumina gathered her followers and teleported them all to the mostly empty continent of Phocux. For now war seemed to be avoided.

Timeskip 500 years

Over time both Continents evolved and formed new Kingdoms and Cities. On the Continent of Phocux, only one Kingdom ruled over the land. The Holy Kingdom of Prilon led by a king chosen by the Sun goddess herself was in charge. The land was evolving nicely and peacefully. Infrastructure was being built to expand some of the further out towns while in the capital schools were being built.

Down South on the Continent of Serinia, Several major empires had developed. Each with its own cultures and laws. Wars were constantly being fought in an attempt to achieve total control over everyone and everything.

The goddesses were also arguing about the same thing. Illumina had started to grow an ego and thought that her followers should be the ones to lead everything.

Come on Sis everything will be fine, Yelled Illumina.

My Followers have no desire to follow you or your followers, Licencia yelled back.

What happened too when you would follow everything I said Her sister asked.

Careful Licencia, I'll forcefully take over your followers if needed, Illumina stated with a smile.

The Goddess of Light vanished after her declaration. The vow had been made and it was clear neither was backing down. The goddesses' words echoed through the world. War was coming.
