Ultimately, Davis Alban decided not to attack David Warlock, instead, he stood there waiting to see how far the servant disciple would go.
Even if David warlock reached the late stage Nascent soul, he wasn’t a threat. The formation protecting the sect could even defend against a low stage Soul sublimation expert.
David Warlock then finally reached the late stage Nascent Soul and at the same time, a cyan aura could be seen on his body indicating the rank 5 body that he desired.
When it was all done, both heaved a sigh of relief. One, because he didn’t have any more mana to supplement his powerful soul to attract qi, and the other because he was afraid that the intruder would become too strong to handle.
David warlock then stood up and then came outside to greet his visitor.
He cupped his hand and bowed saying, “I must thank sir for allowing me to achieve my breakthrough unperturbed.”
“No need for thanks…no need for thanks… We, humans, need more Nascent Souls. The otherworldly demons will never respect us if we are not strong enough. Instead, we will be enslaved like in the ancient times.” Davis Alban said.
David Warlock knew from his previous self's memories that the otherworldly demons were creatures that had come out of nowhere in ancient times and waged a war against the human race.
Of the five planets in the solar system, only two were in the hands of the human race even though certain places were still being contested by the demons.
There was even news that the otherworldly demons had set their gaze towards the stars, intending to colonize them.
No human had ever left the solar system so no one knew what was out there.
"Otherworldly Demons, huh! I'll get rid of them some time in the future, if I feel like it." David Warlock said with a confident smile.
In his head, he could see himself commanding an army of undead and exterminating the Demons from the solar system.

Patriarch Alban just took it as a joke and said, "That's the spirit. While I don't know how you managed to achieve this feat of reaching Nascent Soul in a few hours…what would take others decades if not centuries to achieve, and while I am even feeling scared of such talent, I must admit that I am relieved that you are human."
Patriarch Alban was just dying to know how the youth before him achieved such a feat. He was even thinking of firing up the Sect's protective formation with the elders and beat the information out of David Warlock.
But he was indeed scared…
What else was this youth hiding? Wouldn't he just die prematurely because of greed?
So he was now left with his last choice.
Benefits.
Maybe he could get something worthwile out of David Warlock instead of treating him like an enemy…
…And maybe…just maybe…he could be privy to the knowledge this youth had that allowed him to almost become a Soul Sublimation expert in a matter of a few hours.
One could dream right?
He had already forgotten that David Warlock had used a cultivation technique that he was supposed to be the only one to know in the entire world.
Of course with his powerful soul, David Warlock knew what was going on in the mind of the old man in front of him.
"He is playing the friend card, huh. Can one really be so afraid and greedy at the same time?" Thought David Warlock.
In his soul, David Warlock accessed his Grimoire of life.
The Grimoire opened itself as a figure resembling David Warlock appeared. It was a soul body clone.
The grimoire seemed to tremble a little and then a vortex immediately sucked in the clone as soon as it appeared.
On the other side was a garden. An endless garden.
Medicinal plants and fruits trees of all shapes and sizes were everywhere. There seemed to be no end to them.
In the middle of this world was a simple two story house made entirely of wood.
The soul body clone floated towards the house and then and passed through the front door.
In the first room upon entering, was an exquisite green cauldron. It seemed there were still pills inside that released a kind of pure light. Six pills.
On the side ot the cauldron, next to the stool, was a little table with the same height as the cauldron and on it was a bowl with 12 pills that also released the same pure light as the others that were still in the cauldron.
The soul body clone scooped the six pills in the cauldron and then put them in the bowl with the other twelve.
He stopped for a moment and then retrieved two pills out of the eighteen.
"Let's see how these pills fare in the new world I just reincarnated to." The soul body clone said.
He was planning to have Patriarch Alban try one pill and see if there was a difference in effect between the two worlds since they had different power systems.
If all was fine, he could then eat the second pill and see what the effect would be on him, since he now had a new body but the same soul.
The soul body clone then looked up, thinking of something, "I wonder if it's still there. If it is, my plans will have to change a little…but it would be for the best if it does…"
The soul body clone went up and passed through the ceiling. On the other side was a humble bedroom.
And there it was…
His previous body…
Lifeless and cold…
"Sigh…I never thought that not only I'd escape death by reincarnating in a parallel world, but that my corpse would follow me there too."
He looked at his corpse that looked nothing like his current self except that it seemed to be more mature.
He was starting to wonder if the condition to reincarnate was to die in the Grimoire of life's pocket world.
If it was, then he had been incredibly lucky so far.
Not only was it the safest place for him to concoct pills and recuperate…but he could also split his soul into many clones to the care of the vast plantation.
This place was his only path of retreat from the treacherous Magus world, he just never knew that it was also his salvation.
But right now, he could only think of one thing…
His first Undead might just be himself…
