Have you ever wanted to be a hero? I have. Everyone has of course, it looks so fun but wouldn't they have a lot of responsibility? To have to save people day and day out. Wouldn't you get tired? Wouldn't they at some point take you for granted? Wouldn't the very people you're trying to help and save consider you a threat? So the question is. Would you turn into a villain or a hero? They each have cons and pros but it's quite hard to decide. What if you didn't even have a choice? Would you take your chances to be one then?

I don't know why I do the things I do or why I turned out like this. By all means should I really should be normal yet I can do what others can't. I can kill people. I don’t know why or how but I can see when one has a problem wouldn't it just be so much easier to just destroy the source of it. Why is it considered so morally wrong to kill? Morals were created by people. To separate themselves from what they believed to be lesser beings than themselves. Yet we do morally wrong things for Self Gain. I have only the most basic of human emotions. I was born like this with a dull capacity to feel. Frankly, I don't know what to believe and I don't want to believe. All I know is morals exist everywhere whether on earth or this fantasy world.
That reminds me. I'm in a fantasy world. One where I had not only killed the king but erased the queen and all of her subordinates memories of the past 6 months. Now it was time to leave the half destroyed castle and erase everyone else's memories as well.
See one might ask how you accomplish such a feat. It's quite simple really I stole a Dragon Mana stone.
Mana Stones boost any spells power and a Dragons Mana stone happens to be an SS-Rank ranking it third.
Now another question might be how I got one. Obviously, I killed a dragon. Not really, I stole it from the king's treasury. I'm not about fighting dragons who can kill me with a flap of their wings.
Leaving the kingdom I could see hundreds of guards trying to block anyone one from escaping the kingdom knowing only their king had been assassinated and their queen had sustained memory loss, thankfully they didn't even know who to look for escaping was too simple. The pedestrians were in a panic looking at the half destroyed castle they could only fear what the future held for them. Entering the forest I headed for the mountains. Seeing as the whole kingdom was surrounded by mountains it would make my job that much easier.
"Dammit! Why couldn't I have learned a flying skill!" I whined. If there's anything I hate it's exercising.
Finding my way through the mountains I finally reached the top of the mountain it felt great. The wind felt empowering and the view made you feel like a king. I looked to my right and I saw the kingdom it was midnight yet looking to my left was the Fairy Forest. Rumor had it that if you strayed from the path you would be lost forever. In reality however they loved to play pranks and would often make you get lost so you could play with them.

Looking back at the kingdom I promised myself to come back next time however it would be with an army. Promising this to myself I set up camp and promptly fell asleep.
Waking up to the sound of birds chirping it reminded me of my time in the forest. Getting up I looked at the kingdom the sun rising over it would make one look in awe. Looking at the noisy birds I realized they weren't your average sized birds. They were enormous chickens that could strangely enough fly or at least float.
"I wonder if it tastes like chicken since they look like similar?" I muttered to myself. "Oh well looks like I’m having chicken for breakfast."
After an hour I finally ate the enormous chicken, mildly put it did not taste like chicken nor did it taste like the 30 minute’s worth I spent trying to catch the damn thing. Yes, they were that fast.
Looking back at the kingdom I waited for the announcement that the king was assassinated. Considering it was the morning it would be sometime before it happened. For the time being I practiced Mana Manipulation it was definitely harder than it looked. Making 2 dimensional shapes was difficult enough but 3 Dimensional shapes took more concentration than I currently had. After about 3 hours of practicing I could finally see mass movement in the kingdom.
It was as expected the kingdom would announce the death of the king. My best guess on who they would blame however, was an assassin of the Demon King it was impossible for them to remember me anyways. This would either increase moral or decrease it, whoever gave the speech it relied on them. After about an hour of ruckus I could see they became quiet. I used body strengthening on my eyes and ears to see the person speaking and listen to them. It was not who I expected it to be. The damn queen was there. Going into a mild state of panic I reassured myself it was impossible for her to recover her memories in a night. Believing in my technique I knew she hadn’t remembered. She was simply trying to raise the moral of the kingdom. They would go to war soon with the Demon king and then, only then would they remember me whom they cast into the fire. After reassuring the queen would blame the Demon king I stopped listening to the speech. I stood up it was finally time for my master plan. Taking the Dragon Mana stone from my rucksack I began inserting Mana into it I could feel it was filled to the brim with mana and was close to it's breaking point. Strengthening my arm I threw the Mana Stone in an arc right on top of the castle. Watching it fall towards the kingdom I waited for the blast or the noise yet nothing came. Could I have failed? Was my throw too weak? Then it exploded and all one could see was light.
