As Liuxing poured the clear water from the porcelain bottle into the River of Oblivion, she saw a black figure struggling in the bright red water, swimming skillfully to the shore, to her own surprise.
All souls pass through the River of Oblivion after death, washing away their seven emotions and six desires, and only pure souls can cross the Bridge of Sighs. Therefore, these souls are without consciousness, flowing downstream like wooden puppets. Yet this person was unaffected, indicating a strong will in their past life, and likely responsible for the deaths of many.

The black-clad woman, upon seeing Liuxing, furrowed her brows, "Am still alive?"
Liuxing smiled, "You are dead. This is the River of Oblivion."
The black-clad woman nodded, sitting cross-legged on the ground, allowing her flowing black hair to cascade over one shoulder. "Yes, how could I still be alive? I didn't expect to meet anyone here."
Liuxing sat down beside her, "Neither did I. Meeting is a matter of fate. How about you tell me your story? I've always exchanged a cup of tea and an answer for someone's story. There's no tea here, but I can answer one question of yours, from heaven and earth, past and present."
She twisted her long hair into a ring around her hand to wring out the water, paused upon hearing this, and her eyes became a bit confused.
"Questions from my past life, and yet I have the chance to get an explanation even after death?" She muttered to herself, chuckling softly, "I guess so. You're not a normal person to appear here. Since that's the case, it doesn't matter if I tell you my story."
