Since the guards and the staff all had retreated back leaving only the students, they started to make a ruckus in this place, some scurried to the next room and they could hear glass smashing, it seemed that they had started their plan and that is to smash this place to pieces. Kayla's heart kept on thumping loudly, Aaron stood up in front of her, like he was trying to protect her,
“Don't worry, they have said that they are not allowed to hurt students, so they won't be so bold to attack us”
Kayla started to calm down from his reassurance and remember about something,
“How about we go back to our room first?”, Kayla suggests and they nod. The three of them walked towards the back of the staircase towards the elevator, but it seemed that it was not just them that had thought about this, since some people had already stood there, they kept on pressing the button, but it wouldn't light up no matter how hard they press it, that is when they realized that something is not right,
“It seems that we are trapped here”, Aaron whispers to the two of them and Kayla nods agreeing to it.
“Should we find the coin first or should we hide first?”, Kayla asked, the people who had been making a commotion got louder and louder, and the guards were nowhere to be seen, Kayla honestly didn't want to get caught up with their craziness. Who knows what those crazy guys will do, if they are not careful, they will be the ones getting implicated.
Aaron thinks for a moment before saying, “They have just lost their mind for a second, I don't believe they have the guts to kill all of us, but to be safe, let's get away when they are approaching us— I am more curious about what he means by choosing”
Kayla also has taken notice of that word before and nodded,
“That means the more we get the coins the more we have the right to choose”
“But these people don't seem to be interested”, Aaron scoffed, “But that will be our benefit, the people who look for it first might have a higher chance to find more of it, so we could choose from either one of that”
Kayla took a glance at him, and by looking at his expression she could know that Aaron was clearly looking down at these people, probably thinking that they were something insignificant and didn't need to put his attention to them. But sometimes his indifference might cause him trouble to come.
“Such a huge place, where are we going to find it?”, Clara asked dumbfoundedly
“I seem to see another door from that corridor, probably leading to somewhere, but that place now is”, Kayla hesitated to continue her words, because they could still hear the crashing sound from the other room.
“Then, let’s wait here”, Aaron said and pointed to the stairs, so they went there and took a seat, some people who saw them also followed them and sat on the stairs, but some who didn't accept their fate still kept on banging the elevator door, and some searching for an emergency stairs to climb up to their room, but to no avail.
As they are waiting, they can silently observe the people standing all around the hall, some people have started searching crazily all around the place, even trying to lift off the carpet beneath, and some people already pulled their phones out to play their offline games and some even has their console games taken with them, and some just like Kayla they sit down and observed.
After one hour had passed, the commotion had quieted down a lot, leaving them with empty hands, the once beautiful and luxurious place had turned into a shipwreck, glass pieces scattered anywhere, they even made a hole in the beautiful walls, it is literally a mess here. The guards didn't show up even when a man who has accidentally or not, hurt some people in the progress of destruction, or some rude people who try to seduce the women here. It is like they are trying to make them survive on their own, or they are just simply waiting to see how other people will respond towards those who got bullied and taken advantage of, which some of them did become a hero for saving those people.
The shocking news was that not one of all these people had found the coins, or someone had already found them but decided to keep quiet about it. The three of them hadn’t started their search so they couldn't say much about anything,
“It seems that these coins are not easy to be found”, Aaron sighed.
Kayla didn't say anything and fell into deep thought,
“Say, they won’t be so heartless and put it on the chandelier right?”, they also follow the line of her sight and find the beautifully hung chandeliers up above them,
‘So that is what you have been thinking’, Aaron looks up and squints his eyes to have a better look, but he still couldn't see anything significant.

“Kayla, and you?”
“Jeremy Reeze”, he immediately extended his hand, Kayla out of politeness extended her hand to accept it and smiled awkwardly at him, but it seemed that he did not have any intention to let go until Aaron decided to interfere,
“I’m Aaron Andersen, nice to meet you”
Jeremy unwillingly let go of her hands and grabbed his hand in exchange, Clara also introduced herself,
“Great! Could I join you guys?”
Aaron kept silent while Clara took a glance at Kayla, so they were conveying that she was the one who had to make the decisions now,
“Sure, why not”, Kayla said and Jeremy squealed happily, for a moment Kayla thought that she could see two ears on top of his head, he was kind of cute like a little puppy.
“Hey, how does this school feel like? I have been thinking for a while, isn’t this the kind of place that is more suitable to be a filming set? Could it be that we are in a survival show?”
Aaron scoffed, “Do you think our parents will willingly agree to this?”
“Who knows? They probably think this is going to be an experience for us, or maybe they have already accepted the money”, he whispered his last words. No matter how Kayla thought about it, his words were very logical and it made sense to her, compared to being a school this place was more like a movie set, a place where they couldn't imagine if this place really existed or not. But when she thought about it, many of the people here are wearing high-end clothes, their parents clearly didn't lack any money, so why would they bet something so dangerous like this just because they wanted the money? So it is very unlikely for their parents to sell off their children in a variety show they didn’t know or heard about.
Kayla sighed and leaned towards the railing, that is when on the corner of her eyes, she saw something glimmering, she just glanced lightly and turned away, but that feeling was so familiar that she immediately glanced back, the more she looked at it, the more she is sure of it,
