General Javier Valdez:"Look at how small our country is and you are still fighting them!? Why don't we just surrender to them and make a pact with them?"
General Lucas Alvarez:"It is for the love of my country and it is for our freedom! No matter how small our country is we have to fight for our freedom!"
President Garcia Manuel:"Can the both of you stop!"
General Lucas Alvarez:"But President! This man is-"
President Garcia Manuel:"Please General Alvarez, both of you sit down and let's sort this out"
Both of us sit down. I, Lucas Alvarez is having a fight with other Generals. My lovely country, Valoria, is having a war with The Kingdom Of Aethel. A big country with more powerful weapons than us.
President Garcia Manuel:"General Alvarez, I know how much you loved your country but-"
General Javier Valdez:"He is just a show off president! He is a liar! He is just saying he loves his country so that people will believe him! He is just a traitor, he is just secretly working with the Aethels"
President Garcia Manuel: "General Valdez, enough!"
General Lucas Alvarez:"How dare you say that in front of my face! Why would I be killing the Aethel's if I am working with them!?"
President Garcia Manuel:"Please silence! Can all of you have peace for a while?"
General Antonio Ramirez:"Well, we can't have peace with this shitty general here Mr. President"
The other generals laughed, I slammed the table.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Can all of you be quiet and let the president finish speaking!? We should be out there teaching our men how to fight! We should be ready for the incoming fight! We should be making trenches for the fight and look at us, we are still here talking and arguing instead of doing it!"
A soldier: Mr. President
A soldier that looked like one of General Javier Valdez men who came from the door entered and gave the president a letter. We waited for the president to read it.
President Garcia Manuel:"General Alvarez, you are dismissed. Your men in Galeje are under attack by the Aethels and they need you"
I stood up and saluted, and went outside the room.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Let's go Mateo Diaz"
I said to my man who is standing and guarding at the door. We went downstairs, then outside and rode our horse and hastily rode to Galeje.

*Bang Bang Bang Bang*
There was a loud gunshot as we arrived. I ran to the trench of my men. Some of my dead men are laying on the ground. I unholstered my pistol and started shooting at the Aethels.
General Lucas Alvarez:"What happened here?"
Random Soldier:"They found our post General! Came in like a storm, firing from all sides. While we are guarding the post peacefully, there are a lot of guns shooting at us!"

2nd Soldier:"We fought hard, but there are too many of them, and too much power!
*Bang*
I knew this was true. The Aethels had a vast arsenal, an advantage they had ruthlessly exploited. But I was not one to succumb to despair. I, General Lucas Alvarez, a man known for my strategic mind and my ability to turn the tide of battle.
I surveyed the terrain, taking in every detail. The trench was strategically placed, but it was a basic defense against a force with superior weaponry. I needed to find a way to even the odds, to use my men's strength and my knowledge to turn the tide.
General Lucas Alvarez:"How many men are left?"
Mateo Diaz:"About a third of our force, General. We lost too many, good men"
General Lucas Alvarez:"We will make them proud, We'll win this, Mateo. I know it. But we need to fight smarter, not harder. We need to use every advantage we have."
I turned to the rest of my men
General Lucas Alvarez:"Listen Up!"
I pointed towards a small, rocky outcrop on the edge of the battlefield.
General Lucas Alvarez:"That ridge! We're going to make it our new line. It gives us some cover, and a higher vantage point. But the Aethels are already pushing us back. We can't just retreat, not without a fight. We need a way to hold them off while we move."
I gestured to the dead men on the ground
General Lucas Alvarez:"We'll use their own weapons against them! Gather every single musket, every single sword, every single piece of ammunition that you can find. We'll create a defensive line, a wall of steel and fire that will stop them cold."
Random Soldier:"But General! They have cannons. They have those infernal machines that fire like thunder."
General Lucas Alvarez:"We will counter their thunder with our own! We'll take the cannons, we'll use their own firepower against them! Mateo, take a squad and scout for the artillery positions. Find a way to disable them, or even better, seize them!"
Mateo Diaz(Saluting):"Yes Sir!"
General Lucas Alvarez:"And the rest of you, get to work! We move to that ridge, and we hold our ground!"
I was in a whirlwind of activity, directing my men, coordinating defenses, my eyes constantly scanning the battlefield, my mind calculating, strategizing. I knew the Aethels had the advantage in firepower, but I also knew they underestimated the resilience and cunning of my soldiers.
As my men scurried into action, gathering supplies and preparing the new defensive line, I took a moment to assess the situation. I saw the fear in the eyes of my men, but I also saw the steely determination, the unwavering loyalty that burned within them.
I knew my men would follow me, but I also knew they needed a glimmer of hope, a reason to believe that they could prevail. I need to show them that Valoria, despite its size, could stand against the might of Aethel.
I turned to my men.
General Lucas Alvarez:"They think they can break us! They think they can crush us, destroy us. But they don't know Valoria. They don't know us. We are Valorian. We are the sons and daughters of this land. And we will defend it, even if it means fighting to our last breath!"
My words reverberated through the trench, igniting a spark of defiance in the hearts of my men. They fought with renewed vigor, their backs against the ridge, their muskets blazing, their swords flashing.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Attack!"
My men get out of the trench and charged to the nearest enemy trench. They jumped down and started slashing and shooting the enemies.
I killed the remaining ones and joined them on the trench. I took a peek at the Aethels to see if they saw. I saw one of the soldiers aim their gatling gun at us.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Take Cover!!!"
*Brraatatatatatatat*
My men who are still standing got shot and fell on top of us. We stayed below to avoid getting shot. The sound of the gatling stopped.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Go!"
My men stood up and charged to the Aethels. They shoot them and slash them with their swords. I took out my pistol and sword and started killing the nearby Aethels.
Mateo Diaz:"General!"
Mateo Diaz showed me a dynamite, he got it from a dead Aethel. We never teach some of our men how to use it because of lack of resources. I went to him and took out my lighter. Teaching him on how to use it. We both stood up.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Threw there!"
I ordered him while pointing at the gatling gun. He threw it with all his might and took cover.
*Bang*
Pieces flew around, a plank hit one of my soldiers and fell to the ground.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Are you okay?"
He stood back up and nodded.
Someone from the Aethels:"Bino Kabla!"
We took a peek, the Aethels started retreating. My men started chasing after them.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Halt! Don't chase them! Shoot them like a slave running away!"
My men stopped and started shooting at them. Some of us started laughing.
General Lucas Alvarez:"Long live Valoria!"
My men:"Long live Valoria!"
My men started waving our flag, we celebrated on the spot as we watched the Aethels run back to where they came from.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Lucas Alvarez:"There are 2 countries taking over our country. The Kingdom Of Aethels and Calderon. Both of them only took over the south of our country and having a war there taking turns. While some of our countrymen there have no choice but to help each either of the country while some made a rebel group against them called FFV(Freedom For Valoria). While we are here in the North, mountainous part of the country and the part of the country where The Kingdom Of Aethel and the Calderons fear is because of ambushes from the mountains and our fellow tribesmen hiding in the mountans. But even if the North was never conquered, they might find a way to conquer it and get resources here. Our plan is to recruit a lot of men and make camps around Quene, the only mountainous part where they can only enter the. North and near the middle part of our country. But we need to drive out the Aethels who are still here in the Northern part if we want that to happen. We still don't have any plans to take back the middle and southern parts of the country but we will wait for you president to make a pact from neighbouring countries to help our country.
President Garcia Manuel:"General Alvarez, the plan seems to be good and will promise to make a pact with the other countries as soon as possible"
General Javier Valdez:"Why don't we just make a pact with the mighty Aethels and ask them to help us get freedom?"
General Lucas Alvarez:"We just defeated them back in Galeje and do you think they will make a pact with us? And even if we made a pact with them, they only conquer our country for our rich recourses, nothing else, not for our freedom!"
General Javier Valdez:"Then why don't we be part of their country!? They might give us big weapons and flying vehicle-"
General Lucas Alvarez:"What we want is freedom, we want to have our country, not someone else's part of. We want our own religion, our own money, our own land, and a peaceful country!"
President Garcia Manuel:"Silence! General Alvarez and Valdez. Both of your fathers were Generals and both names are fighting in front of me! Now that their sons turned into Generals like them and I expect a difference but both of you somehow fought with the same blood. Please this is not the time fight and General Valdez, I agree with Alvarez. We want our own freedom."
