After the meteor crashed, the world started rumbling. 

Continents started moving closer to each other like a nail moving to the magnet and the magnet being the meteor forming one large continent and ans in the center is the meteor.

The meteor rumbled again releasing a black smoke, the smoke traveled with the wind,sink underground and fuse with the sea.

The black smoke contains a lot of DNA but nobody knows about this, the black smoke traveled all throughout the world mutating any animals and plants it encounter. 

Humans not being an exception was infected but the mutations did not show early for one reason humans have the ability to adopt and human genes are resilient.

The animals  and other plants on the other hand are already mutating some in a good way others not so much. 

For example the durian fruit a tasty fruit but smells bad, the durian mutated in both ways the good part was it became tastier and the bad one was it became stinkier  rotting anything in a 0.5 mile radius. 

The world change in numerous way but one thing is for sure the World change to a Gourmet World where one must work hard to eat delicious food.
