I turn my head and see Marcus running toward me.
"Milady!" He says gleefully and lifts me off my feet into an embrace.
My face turns soft pink. Was he worried about me? I wrap my arms around him tightly. "Welcome back," I say, but focusing on Marcus.
I look at Vincent and Caeru. They have blood on them! A lot of it!
"Are you two ok?!" I ask, concerned.
"We're fine." Caeru declares as Vincent stands him on his own feet.
"No werewolves came back last night." Lucian says to Vincent.
As they have a conversation, Marcus whispers into my ear.
"Milady… can we go to your room?" He asks quietly.
"For what?" I respond, looking him in his face curiously as he puts me back on my feet.
"I want to be alone with you." He rests his head on my shoulder and wraps his arms around my waist.
He speaks almost as if he's begging.
"O-Ok, let's go…." I grab his hand, and the two of us sneak away from the rest of the Vampires.
Marcus smiles as we both walk down the hall to your room.
"Did you worry about me, Milady?" He asks expectantly.
"Why would I? You're strong," I lie to compliment him.
"Y-You think I'm strong?" He asks, surprised, as I open my door.
"I know you are," I smile.
The two of us walk in, and Marcus closes the door without letting go of my hand. He turns back to me.
"I was worried about you…." He frowns and embraces me once again.
I return his embrace.
"I wanted to stay with you, but Vincent says I can't protect you yet…." He complains.
Unsure of what to say, I rub his back, trying to comfort him. He lets go of me and smiles. I smile back as I observe his face. I notice he has blood on his face. I then examine the rest of him. He has a lot of blood on him.
"Are you injured?" I ask worriedly, my eyebrows curling.
"Me? No?…." He thinks for a moment, "Oh! The blood isn't mine! It's the werewolves. There were a lot of them, but I took out many of them!" He smiles.
I frown in disgust but cover my mouth. Marcus tries to tell me how he slaughtered them, then notices I'm uncomfortable.
"Marcus… I-I don't want to hear about you k-killing things… and you should wash up," I inform him.
He frowns, looking like a sad puppy. "Did I make you scared of me…? I'm sorry, Milady." He apologizes.
"No… it's ok," I smile slightly, "Let's go clean you up.”
Come to think of it, I haven't bathed since I left. I forgot where the washroom even is.
"You lead the way…." I tell Marcus, hiding that I don’t know the way.
"Oh- Sure!" He says, cheerful.
He holds my hand and takes me to the washroom. They have a proper tub, which makes sense since they live in a manor. Marcus turns the water on and lets the tub fill up.
"Are we going to bathe together?…" Marcus asks with a hint of pink on his cheeks.
"Y-Yes…." I say nervously.
"I'll get in first." He declares.
I watch as he takes his bloody shirt off, then his pants. I look away as he strips and gets in the tub. He turns the water off.
"Um… T-The water is a bit hot. Maybe you should wait a moment." He suggests.
I walk over to the tub and dip my fingers in. The water is perfect.
"No, I'll get in now…." I insist.
I take my nightgown off, my bra, and lastly, my underwear. Blushing, I sit across from Marcus with my knees to my chest. I realize my hair will get wet now. I should have put it up first. Marcus seems to be hesitating about something.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Can we… sit together?" He asks shyly.
"We are together?…" I say, not understanding.
"Will you sit in my lap?…" He asks quietly.
My face turns red, "I-If you want me to, then I-I suppose," I carefully scoot closer to him, then turn around and lean back against him, between his legs.
Because of the water, both of our bodies are hot.
"Um… do you-"
"Do you-"
We both speak at the same time.
"You go first," Marcus smiles.
"Do you want to kiss?…" I ask shyly.
"Yeah." Marcus admits without shame as he leans down and plants his lips upon mine.
I close my eyes and kiss him back. After a moment, our tongues meet each other. Unexpectedly, Marcus bites my tongue with his fangs. The kiss now tastes of my blood, which he drinks slowly as it pools in my mouth. Instinctively, he places his hands on my waist and back and deepens the kiss. My blood ends up trickling down your chin.
The room is so quiet that I can hear it drop into the bath water. Thankfully, the blood loss is not enough to affect me. Marcus pulls away from the kiss. So do I. We stare at each other for a moment before I go back to leaning against his chest. He wraps his arms around my stomach and rests his head on my shoulder. This feels nice.
"Is it ok if I sleep for a bit, Milady?" He says quietly.
"Go ahead…." I say, caressing his hair.
I didn't get much sleep either. I rest my head back on his shoulder as well. I turn my head over and smile to myself. He's already asleep. I plant a kiss on his cheek and rest my eyes. It would be dangerous if we both fell asleep in the tub. I wait about 20 minutes before waking him up.
"Marcus?" I say.
He opens his eyes slowly and faces me.
"Milady?" He asks, still drowsy.
"Perhaps you should go to your room to continue sleeping?" I suggest to him.
"I'd like to get out now," I add as well, placing your hands on his arms.
"Oh… ok, but I want to stay with you, Milady." He says with puppy eyes.
I stand up and find a towel to dry myself with.
"I'll sit beside you while you sleep after I eat."
"Alright, oh- wait- I didn't make you a sandwich yet! I'm sorry. I said I'd do it every morning." He apologizes and gets out of the bathtub.
He seems lively despite being tired.
"It's ok, you don't have to worry about that." I smile as I wrap myself up.
I realize I don't have clothes to change into in the bathroom. Marcus does, however. They have 2 closets filled with clothes.
"I'll go make you one." He says, determined.
Before he starts walking out, I stop him.
"Wait! Could you go and grab me something to wear?…" I ask bashfully.
"Of course, Milady!" He smiles.
He vanishes for a quick moment and returns with a dress and some shoes for me to wear. It’s one of the dresses from my closet, it's light yellow. I take the clothes from him and push him out of the bathroom.
"Wait outside. Please," I request of Marcus.
"Alright." He says, a little dejected.
I close the door and put my underwear on. Then, I put my dress and shoes on. I grab my dirty clothes and fold them nicely. I should take them back to my room to wash them later. I walk out of the washroom and head to my bedroom. Marcus follows behind me. I set the clothes down on a table and return to Marcus. He smiles patiently.
"You're very pretty, Milady. I think yellow suits you." He beams.
"Thank you," I smile as I hold his hand and walk with him to the dining room.
The vampires are no longer all discussing what happened. Lucian is in the room.
"Nice to see you two again." He says, his voice sarcastic as he crosses his arms.
"N-Nice to see you too," I say, pretending I didn't sneak off with Marcus amidst an important matter.
Marcus has an expression on his face that seems to say, “I don't care for you,” towards Lucian right now. Is he being territorial over you?
"Vincent would like to speak with you, Marcus." Lucian informs us.
"In a moment." He says and takes me into the kitchen.
I wait as he makes me a sandwich. He slices a tomato and lettuce, then he eats them? He smiles back at me.
"I'll make you something sweet instead." He smiles eagerly.
"Oh- Ok!" I say, surprised.
He takes out some berries, honey, leaves which look like mint, and some Brie cheese. He assembles the sandwich and then cooks it. I wait around 15 minutes for him to finish. He puts the sandwich on a plate and hands it to me with a smile.
"I'll be back, ok, Milady?"
"Ok…." I say.
He vanishes. I walk to the dining table and sit next to Lucian. The sandwich is warm and soft yet crispy. Oh wow. I take a bite. The flavors seem to be trying to overpower one another, but it's so sweet and rich. I cover my mouth as I chew. Lucian watches me eat.
"Caeru needs blood." Lucian says.
"From me?…" I ask before taking another bite.
"Preferably."
"I thought no one besides Marcus could drink my blood now," I say, confused.
"We can. It just makes the blood taste bitter." He clarifies.
"O-Oh…." I say.
"I'll help him," I follow up.
After a couple of minutes, I finish my sandwich. It would seem Vincent is still talking to Marcus.
"Leave your plate." Lucian says.
"Oh, alright," I follow him to Caeru's room.
Caeru is resting in bed.
"Wake up." Lucian says bluntly.
"What is it?" Caeru asks as he turns around to face us.
"Hello…." I smile slightly.
"Lilac agreed to feed you." Lucian says.
"Oh, thank you." Caeru says to me.
"Lay back and open your mouth." Lucian tells him.
Caeru does as he's told. Lucian grabs my wrist.
"I'm going to cut your hand." Lucian says calmly.
"What!?" I ask, shocked.
"It'll only hurt a bit, then I'll take you to Vincent." He tries to compromise.
"No! I don't want to help anymore!" I say, trying to pull my hand away.
"Please." Caeru begs.
"No! Why don't you just get a syringe from Vincent?!" I suggest.
Lucian pauses and releases me.
"That's… a wonderful idea. I'll be right back." Lucian vanishes and then returns a minute later.
You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.
He's holding a syringe.
"I'm not really sure how to use this, but I know it's supposed to go into your vein. It might hurt more than our fangs." Lucian warns me.
I give him my arm. He looks carefully at the vein and then presses the needle into my skin. He successfully plants the needle in the vein and withdraws the blood. After a while, he pulls the needle out, and some blood pools on top of my arm. Caeru opens his mouth again. Lucian squirts the blood into his mouth. I watch as Caeru swallows it. It wasn't much blood, but I can see some color return to Caerus’s face, and his wounds begin to heal themselves. He sits up.
"Thank you." Caeru says, bowing his head to me.
"You're welcome…." I say.
I leave the room. Lucian walks after me.
"Do you have something to say to me?" I stop and turn around to face him.
"You should know, Vincent won't let you be with Marcus unless you have his child." Lucian reveals.
"W-What…? What are you talking about?"
"Well… you can be with Marcus if you want, but Vincent still wants you to bear his heir and marry him. Then Marcus would become your consort. And…, since Vincent is going to become king, Marcus can't refuse Vincent unless he becomes strong enough to overpower him, in which case Marcus will become the King." Lucian explains
"That's a lot to take in..." I say, thinking it over.
"Of course… Naturally, I'm second in line of succession." Lucian reveals, trying to hint at something.
"What are you saying?" I ask, raising my eyebrow.
"There's a high chance that if I marry first, I'll inherit the crown, as my mother is currently the queen." Lucian states.
"…I thought you weren't interested in me…."
"I'd like to inherit the crown too." He says truthfully.
So he isn't interested in me.
"What do you mean your mother… you don't all share the same one?" I ask.
"Of course not. Why do you think none of us share the same hair color?" He says as if it were common knowledge.
"O-Oh…." I say, embarrassed.
"What are you two talking about?" Vincent approaches us two from behind.
Marcus is behind him.
"Nothing," I lie.
Lucian nods. Marcus smiles at me. I smile back at him.
"We'll be going." Marcus says as he takes my hand.
"Bye." I wave to them. "I'll think about what you said," I whisper.
Lucian nods subtly.
Marcus takes me to his room. He lies down on his bed. I sit at the edge.
"What did you two talk about?" I ask.
"It's not important…" he dismisses.
"Oh… ok." I smile at him.
"The sandwich was exquisite!" I tell him.
"I'm glad you liked it. Milady." He smiles.
I stand up and walk over to his side.
"…I want to sit beside you while you rest. Is that ok?" I ask bashfully.
Marcus blushes, "Go ahead." He scoots over.
I sit next to him, then he lays flat on his bed and places his head on my lap, and closes his eyes. My face turns pink. This reminds me of my dates with Eric, but I shouldn't be thinking of my ex-fiancé now. I caress Marcus's face. He looks content.
Over the next hour, as Marcus rests in my lap, I play with his hair and ears, and occasionally, my thumb glides over his lips. They're soft. I wish he'd wake up so I could see his golden eyes again. Oh dear, what am I saying? I blush. Come to think of it, Caeru and Lucian both have red eyes, Beni has grey eyes, and Vincent has sapphire eyes. I wonder if their eye colors mean anything? Marcus wakes up slowly, then turns over and looks at me. He closes his eyes once more and smiles. He must have slept well, I smile. He opens his eyes again and caresses my hair.
"You played with my hair a bunch while I was sleeping. Do you like it that much, Milady?" He says with a somewhat raspy voice.
He could feel that in his sleep?! My face turns red.
"I just think your hair is fluffy, that's all!" I say, flustered.
He sits up with a cheeky smile on his face and faces me.
"You also touched my lips. Were you thinking about kissing me?" He questions.
"N-No!" I say, embarrassed.
"Aww…." Marcus frowns.
"Well… maybe a little bit," I say shyly.
He smiles and gives me a quick peck.
"Um… Vincent wanted me to tell you what marks do to humans…." Marcus says, nervous as he caresses my neck, where he marked me.
"Oh?" I express curiosity.
He puts his hands in his lap.
"I'll begin now, listen carefully. Vincent said he told you that if one of us marks you, the rest can't drink from you, but that's not entirely true because you can have multiple markings. And a mark is a sign of mating to vampires. Each one is, um, u-unique to the vampire. Then, uhhh, when a vampire marks you, it's more accurately said that the vampire can only drink from you o-or the human they marked. When vampires mark other vampires, it's just a mating sign. Vincent said I should include that. But! I needed to tell you all that because the mark has multiple effects on you since you're human."
Marcus takes a deep breath and continues.
"One, Vincent already told you, but you can produce more blood so that I can drink more from you. S-Second is um, well before, your blood already gave off an aroma, but now, it's much stronger to me and others that marked you, s-so that we can find you easily if you're hurt. Milady, i-it's hard to control my thirst around you because of it…." He says the last part shyly.
I smile at him, processing everything he just said.
"You can drink from me whenever you need to," I say warmly.
"Well, that's the third thing…." He gives me an uncomfortable look, "Since marks are signs of mating… if I bite anywhere on your skin, it will sexually um… s-stimulate you… so Vincent said I shouldn't do that often, w-which is why earlier I bit your tongue!" Marcus's face turns pink.
I put my hand over your mouth. I’m surprised, but would that be a bad thing?
"I-I'm sorry… I can remove my mark right now if you want?" He suggests with a sheepish look on his face.
I look at him, then lean against him and hug him tightly.
"Marcus, I like you. I'll brace the effects of the mark for you. And if you're thirsty, then you can go ahead and feed from me. Whenever and wherever. Okay?" I say lightheartedly.
He wraps his arms around me.
"T-Thank you, m-milady! You're a very kind lady!" His voice breaks up as if he's holding back tears.
I rub the back of his head and comfort him for a couple of minutes.
"The last thing is… o-or all that Vincent told me is that marks appear after h-having sex when a vampire bites you…." Marcus continues.
My face turns red.
"O-Oh…." I say, embarrassed, "So you mean… e-everyone knows?"
"Yeah…." Marcus nods.
"Oh…." I say quietly.
"I'm sorry my mark is in such an obvious place, Milady…." Marcus tells me as he hugs me tighter.
The two of us continue hugging as I take all this information in.
"I want to kiss you…." Marcus says quietly.
I pull out of the hug and look Marcus in the eyes briefly as he moves his hands to my waist. I lean back in and kiss him gently. He deepens the kiss by pulling me onto his lap. I straddle his hips. He moves his hands to my ears, placing my hair behind them and caressing me. I get a sensation of butterflies in my stomach.
I attempt to part Marcus's lips with my tongue, but he catches on quickly and opens his mouth, letting our tongues mingle. His hands make their way back to my waist, and he pulls me against him. My lips break from the kiss as he presses his hips into mine. I wrap my arms around his shoulders and deepen the kiss. I hear someone clear their throat. It's not Marcus.
"Ahem… L-Lord Marcus, sorry to interrupt b-but…." A timid voice says.
We both pull away and whip our heads towards the door. It was open?! How did I not realize that?!
"What do you need?" Marcus asks in a stern voice.
He seems to be glaring at the person who appears to be a servant.
"Your laundry… L-Lord."
"Go ahead." Marcus responds.
The two of us watch as the servant gathers Marcus's laundry. I wonder if this person does everyone's laundry. I make eye contact with the servant. His face turns red and he looks away. I turn to look at Marcus with a face that says, “I want to continue,” to which he responds with a pink face and a slight smile. The servant walks back to the door. I look at him.
"Um… Lord Lucian requests your presence in the garden, Lady Lilac. T-That is all. Good day." The vampire servant speaks quickly and then hurries off, closing the door behind him.
I begin to get off of Marcus's lap.
"W-Wait, Milady." He places his hands on my hips.
"What is it, Marcus?" I say lightly.
He drops his head down and then leans toward my neck. Is he about to bite me? I brace myself. As he opens his mouth to bite me, I can feel his cool breath. He's hesitant at first but slowly presses his fangs into my neck. I feel a tingling sensation in your lower stomach. Is this what he was talking about? I can't help but giggle a little bit. I thought it would be unbearable. But this is quite tame. I wrap my arms around his back as he drinks my blood. After a couple of seconds, the tingling disappears, and I don't feel light-headed at all. This is great!
Marcus pulls away briefly and licks my neck. A slight moan escapes my mouth. He goes back to drinking my blood for 20 seconds, I count. I feel fine still. He stops but rests his head on my shoulder and hugs me. A couple of minutes pass then he lets me go.
"Come to me once you're done in the garden, please." He asks with puppy dog eyes.
I smile lightly.
"I will right away," I promise him by kissing his cheek.
His face turns pink as his smile beams at me. I get off him and wave as I walk out of his room. I walk outside and toward the garden. There's much more growth than when you first arrived at the manor. How peculiar. As I walk through the garden, I trip over a branch.
"Eek!" I yelp as you fall forward.
Before I hit the ground, I stop falling. Lucian caught me.
"T-Thank you!" I say as he stands me back upright.
"Mhm." He says.
"Why did you want me to come see you?" I ask curiously.
"I'm harvesting some things. If you help me, I'll take you to the town when I leave." He states. "R-Really?!" I ask excitedly.
"Yes… but don't tell anyone, or they'll insist on you staying." He whispers.
"Sure thing." I smile.
Lucian grabs my wrist gently and guides me to where he came from. Must he hold my wrist instead of my hand? Is it to prevent me from getting the wrong idea? How odd. I reach the part of the garden where they grow food. There are onions, tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers. Lucian has a basket for each vegetable where he is holding them.
"Will you take these to the kitchen?" He asks as he picks one pallet of onions and hands it to me.
"Mhm," I say as I grab hold of the pallet.
"Do you have it, it's a bit heavy?" He says, supporting most of the weight.
"Of course! I'm not weak," I exclaim.
He lets go of the pallet. To my surprise, it's much heavier than I thought. My arms drop down a little, but I can still hold it.
"Please don't trip again…." Lucian asks, trying to joke, but his tone is off.
"I won't," I reply, smiling slightly, then walking out of the garden.
It takes around three minutes for me to make it to the kitchen, then an extra five minutes to place them up on the table and make my way back to the garden. Lucian hands me the second pallet, the third, the fifth, and eventually the 10th, which is as much as the table can hold. My arms are so tired! I’ve been hauling veggies for almost two hours. As I return from bringing in the 10th pallet, Lucian attempts to hand me another one.
"No! No more… please…." I whine.
He looks back at me from the ground, where he's still pulling veggies!
"Are you tired?" He says, looking perfectly relaxed.
“It's hot outside, and I’ve been carrying heavy things inside for a while! Of course, I’m tired!” That is what I would like to say. I’ve even got sweat running down my face and arms.
"…I'm not tired." I sigh, "I just need a break. Aren't you hot?" I sigh again.
"Yeah, actually." He gets up and dusts the dirt off his hands.
For the first time, I notice the muscles on his arms since he's wearing a sleeveless shirt. I almost want to feel them, but I restrain myself. Marcus is thin in comparison. I realize I’m staring at his arms. I look away. Hopefully, he didn’t notice.
"Should we go inside?" I ask.
"No." He says without stating why.
"Ok…." I say, slightly confused.
"Come with me." He says as he grabs my wrist again.
I shake his hand off. He's surprised.
"You can hold my hand. It's much more polite," I explain to him, slightly upset.
"Oh, I see." He grabs my hand gently.
"Much better." I smile.
He takes me to the area of the garden where he plants flowers. There's a large tree with a gazebo right under it. I wonder how big this garden is for them to have a gazebo inside? I’ve never seen such a pretty tree. The leaves and branches droop down.
"This is a weeping willow. It's been at the manor for 26 years now." He informs me.
"Is that so?" I ask while walking into the gazebo to take a seat.
"Yes, I've been caring for it since I was a toddler."
I smile, "It's beautiful. Do you take care of all of the garden?" I ask.
"No. Vincent grows medicinal herbs, and Benille grows plants to turn them into tea. But I plant all of the food and other flowers." He explains.
"So you enjoy gardening?" I ask.
"I guess you could say that…." He sits next to me, rather close in fact.
"Why did you want me to come with you?"
"I'm going to tell you a secret." He looks at the tree glumly. "The tree is wilting." He says, sounding a bit sad.
"…What? It looks so healthy, though," I frown.
"No, I’ve tried a lot of fertilizers, but I can’t bring it back to its healthy, younger state.." He responds glumly.
“How unfortunate….” I say.
He sits there for a couple more moments before getting up.
"We should get back to collecting the vegetables." He suggests.
As we both stand up, I notice something that sounds like an animal whining.
"Do you hear that?" I ask, worried, while looking around.
"Yes, I do. You should ignore it." He begins walking back through the garden.
I follow behind quietly, still listening to the animal. Once we reach the vegetables, the whining gets louder. I realize it's an animal crying. Instead of helping Lucian, I begin to walk away.
"What are you doing?" He asks, nonchalantly.
"That animal is crying! I want to help it. It could be hurt!" I exclaim, concerned.
"You should just ignore it." He insists, gathering veggies onto the pallet.
"I'm going to go find it," I insist.
Lucian sighs quietly, "I'll come too then." He says.
I nod, and the two of us quickly leave the garden.
"The sound is coming from the woods." Lucian informs me.
"Ok!" I say intently.
We both rush in the direction of the animal into the woods. After a couple of minutes, I see a small, brown wolf. It appears to be injured!
"Oh no!" You exclaim, running towards it.
"Lilac! Wait!" Lucian tries to stop me by my arm but fails to grab me.
I reach the wolf and kneel to it, inspecting its injuries. It looks at me pleadingly, yet bares its teeth at me, trying to growl.
"Aw… no… you're bleeding," I slowly reach my hand to it.
Three of its legs are bleeding. I’m unsure if they're broken, but the wolf doesn't seem able to walk.
"Get away from that." He bends down and grabs my underarms to pull me away.
"Stop it!" I yell at him, startling him. "I-I'm sorry," I turn to face him, "But we can't just leave it here!"
"Yes, we can." He says.
I turn back to the injured wolf. It's been quietly whining and crying.
"I'm going to bring you to someone who can help fix you," I smile, trying to show that I’m not a threat. I offer my scent by bringing my hand near its nose.
"You don't need to do that. It can smell you from where you are." Lucian says, sounding a bit irritated.
The wolf smells your hand and then licks it. Is it trying to communicate trust? I move my left hand under its side, with my right on top of it, and attempt to pick it up. It's much heavier than I’d imagined. It cries when I try to lift it.
"I'm sorry…." I say to the wolf.
I’m going to have to lift it like I would a child, by its underarms. I stand up, then bend down and place my arms slightly under its two front legs. Now, it's much easier to pick up. I take it into my arms and carry it like a baby. Then I turn around to Lucian.
"Let's take it to Vincent," I say sternly.
"…Ok. Walk in front of me." He directs.
"Hm," I nod.
The two of us walk back to the manor. Lucian returns to the garden and tells me that I can stay inside and he'll do the rest. He also tells me to be ready to leave for the town tonight. As soon as I get inside, Marcus comes to greet me with a smile, but it drops as soon as he notices the wolf.
"It's hurt. So, I brought it so Vincent can help it," I explain.
Marcus smiles again.
"Of course, you did, Milady. Let me help carry it. It must be heavy." He suggests while reaching for it.
The wolf lets me hand it to Marcus, and we go to Vincent’s room. He's not in there.
"He's probably in his office." Marcus states.
"Probably," I agree.
We both go to his office and see him sitting there, filing through papers. Without knocking, I open the door, Marcus behind me. Vincent looks up at me, then at Marcus.
"Do you two need something?" He asks.
"I found an injured wolf in the woods. Can you help it?" I ask nervously.
"A wolf?" He places his hand on his chin, "I'm not a veterinarian… but I can try. Let me see it."
He requests. Marcus brings the wolf closer to Vincent, but it starts growling at him.
"Oh! It wasn't doing that before…." I say.
"Maybe it doesn't like you." Marcus jokes.
Vincent rolls his eyes at Marcus's comment.
"Try putting it down on its legs." Vincent suggests.
I stand back and give some room for the wolf as Marcus bends to put the wolf down. He supports the wolf’s standing. When he lets go, it falls into a sitting position.
"Its hind legs are probably broken. Its hips might be injured as well." Vincent infers.
He kneels in front of it. He takes the injured paw of the wolf, despite it growling still.
"It seems like it was attacked, judging by these wounds. Perhaps by a bear or another wolf. All I can do is wrap a couple of bandages around its legs." Vincent declares.
"Ok!" I say, relieved.
Vincent picks the wolf up by it's scruff and then carries it on his arm.
"I'll take it to my room." He says.
