Materials:
Magnolsis (Sundust): Crystalized ore found in pockets under certain landmasses known as the Harvest Lands.
Magnol: High density Abyssal clouds containing abnormally high concentrations of dissolved Sundust particles. Typically found in terrestrial pockets underneath Continents. Believed to be responsible for the creation of many an inland mountain and gorge.
Heavy Water (Quicksilver): Main waste biproduct of Magnolsis processing and reaction. Aka the “primal seed bed”. The basis of most alchemical processes and the primary ingredient in nearly all magickal elixirs, potions and rituals.
Nexel Pellets(Nexii): Alchemically processed nexels (usually bonded with crystal Magnolsis) used most commonly as small-arm ammunition, larger cannon shots are known to use fused clusters as incendiary explosives or a shaped nexel blasting cap for armor penetration.
Necrovier: Crystalized Oronic shards. Found only in esoteric realms. Siphons of the will. Known to be anathematic to foreign elements of the psyche. Used to power magickal artifacts, enhance certain spell effects and stabilize more complex rituals.
Orons: The fundamental particles of magick.
Creatures(Non/Semi-Sapient):
Nexels: Silicon based mollusks native to the Abyssal undercurrents of Erandis. For their first half of life the creatures are in a nomadic state. Wherein their memories are chemosynthetically codified in shards of magenta or rarely lapis crystals. Which are then harvested by specialty mining guilds during the creatures’ senior “resting” stage. During which they breed and finally nest during their waning years in the near absolute zero wastes of the Erandian subaureole.
Wyntyrdyr: “The Great Prince of the Wild”
Major World Governments (Currencies):
Iradylic Empire (Dyner): A patriarchal, xenophile system ruled by a lone male Lion Emperor and his 16 Vassal Court (8 under the E. himself, 8 Under the Lord Chamberlain) known as the Arbistys. Their primary export is guns and currency.
Iralith (Fenni): A Feline clan system ordered under a hereditary Tiger monarchy, with the 9 other Pantheran Houses(Pillars) ordered by rank according to occupational status. (Fleet Masters, Guild Masters, Ecclesiarchy, etc.) Their claim to power is a delicately balanced system of rotating mercenary companies who go off, fight in foreign wars, then return and impart their skills and wisdom to a new generation of homeborn troops.
Menta (Dyner): On parchment a constitutional republic. In practice a technocratic oligarchy owned and run by ruthless slave-driving cartels of rich moguls, tycoons, banks, merchants, guilds, etc. Their main export is fuel, on account of their sitting on top of one of the largest and deepest Harvest Spots on the planet.
Amurza (Gold/Silver/Slaves): See Menta, but with more guns, religion and less pomp.
Famous Symbols:
Ouroboros: “The Last God” The great serpent devouring itself. A symbol almost as ancient as the concepts of birth and death themselves. In a vision supposedly granted the “Allseer” Nikodontus more than ten generations before he met Sir Francis, a great serpent, a Dragon, indeed a god by any other title, so consumed by lust and greed and envy that it ate the entire planet in a single day. Then, not satisfied, it began devouring its own tail as well.
Wyntyrdyr: “Skullosaurus” The roaring horned skull of the formidable Wyntyrdyr. Most commonly associated with the Black Flag, and with good reason. Flouted by Pyrates, pirates, revolutionaries and a host of other freelance enterprises throughout recent Ages as a symbol of their potent discontent for the status quo.
Antimony: Sometimes called the “Wolf’s Head”, the “Wolf’s Hook” or the “Gray Wolf”. Though no beast knows for certain why. An ancient alchemical symbol for change and a magickal rune symbolizing great mystery. Also familiar to sagistic cults (such as the Masons, Templars and Myltierians) as the eternal symbol for abstraction and the fickle nature of all being.
The Twin Fires: “The Great Eyes” At the peak of the Imperial Capital, a pair of spectacular lighthouses bearing eternal torches whose flames are the size of barges burn in eternal vigil. Meant as a visual shorthand for the Emperor’s all sight, it has come also under reverence as the absolute symbol of Imperial dominion over both the social order and supremacy over natural limitations.
