In the forest next to a waterfall, Flash was enjoying her well-deserved stretch. As she was stretching the wind blew swiftly through her gray and aqua colored fur and wings. Until Nova, with her shiny black fur and lavender-colored markings that look like parts of a galaxy, came rushing to tell Flash that the stone of souls had been stolen. Flash was so shocked that no words could express how she felt.

“Nova, do you at least know where they were headed?”

“No, I don’t, but we can still track the thief down by scent.”

Flash and Nova are still in disbelief that someone would steal the stone of souls. They knew that they needed to get it back, no matter what the wolf was planning to do with it. Before Flash and Nova could leave to find the thief. Sky, with her snowy white fur with pastel snowy blue patches, showed up. 

“Can I help you guys find the stone of souls?”

Flash and Nova whispered to each other.

“Sky could always run off if we get into trouble or if we run into some kind of fight.”

“Yeah, she would be helpful for that, but to everything else she is useless... (Even if Sky comes along I still don't like the idea... I already know that she is going to annoy me the entire time that we are on our way there... I'll admit that she is helpful in many ways...) There is no reason not to bring her with us."

“You can come along." 

Sky was so overjoyed that she jumped and flapped her wings. After Sky settled down they were discussing an idea.

“I think we should walk since I just had to wait six months for my wing to heal."

“You have a point…flying does get us injured.”

“But Nova, I like flying…it’s fun and I get to fly right into the clouds.” (It's not fair that Flash chooses what we do... Even if she is the Alpha of the pack... I'm important too...)

“We all know you like doing that.” (It's so annoying that she rather us fly... Honestly I don't see how she could enjoy it so much... We should have a break from it every once in awhile...) 

“It’s settled then…we’re walking?” 

Sky was all upset about not being able to fly through the clouds in the sky.

As they walked through the forest tracking down the thief that stole the stone of souls with Nova leading the way. As they kept walking, Sky kept repeating the same question every few minutes.

"Are we there yet?" 

"No, we aren't there yet and we don't know when we will be there." (Come to think of it we have no idea where we are even heading... All we know is that we are looking for the thief... But we have no idea how else we are going to run into... I don't even know if we are going to end up in some kind of trap...)

Flash and Nova felt the feeling of hatred, but it wasn’t coming from them. But something close by. Before they knew it they heard two voices of male wolves coming from behind the bushes in front of them.

“Did you get the stone of souls?”

“Yes, I have it right here.”

"Good now, hand it over.”

“If  you want it so badly fight me for it.”

When Flash looked through the bushes she saw that the familiar voice was Death Star. In front of him was a mysterious wolf with black silky fur and blue jagged markings without any wings holding the stone of souls. The mysterious wolf put on the stone of souls and was able to transform into a wonderful thing. He still has his black silky fur, but his blue markings were more like lightning bolts and where the stone of souls would be is now a chain collar and he now had wings.

“You think you can defeat me with that?...Pathetic little mutt.”

“Now, fight me and we’ll see who comes out on top.”

Death Star was giving off more hateful energies, Flash and Nova felt the hateful energies coming off of him.

Death Star attacked the mysterious wolf. As they were fighting, Death Star bit the mysterious wolf’s ear, and the mysterious wolf bit Death Star’s paw. At some point, they pushed each other off from one another. They both ended up losing a lot of blood, but that wasn’t stopping them from fighting.

“Are you going to come attack me or am I going to have to attack you first?”

That aggravated Death Star and rushed towards him and ready to attack, but Flash rushed out from behind the bushes. Blocking Death Star from reaching the mysterious wolf.

“Get out of my way, she-wolf.”

“You know my name. I still haven’t forgotten the day you left. It hurt me to see you leave.”

“You’re lying! I don’t know you at all!”

Flash felt the rage from within him, but she also felt a familiar feeling that Death Star buries deep down within him. Flash turned to ask the mysterious wolf. 

“What’s your name?”

“My name is Damien. You’re Flash right?”

“How do you know my name?"

“Death Star told others what you look like and told us to stay away from you.”

“It’s a lie…don’t believe a word that mutt tells you!”

Flash could tell that Death Star was full of hatred and controlled by fear. His markings were different from the night that he left the Mystic pack for the Death pack. His markings now are an emerald green before they were a golden color.

“I may not be able to get rid of your hatred and make you come back, but I won’t let you hurt anymore wolves…stand your ground and know your place.” (I know I may never get him back, but I can put him in his place... I really don't want to have to fight him, but I won't have a choice.... He wants a fight I'll give him a good beating...) 

Damien could tell that there was some history between Flash and Death Star that’s been unresolved, but there is nothing he nor any of the others can do about it now. Before long, Lightning showed up with his black silky fur and cyan lightning bolt markings. 

“Flash, let me handle this.”

Flash didn’t want Lightning to deal with her unresolved relationship with Death Star, but there was nothing she could do about it. Before too long, Nova came out from where Flash was.

“Where did Sky go?”

“She went back to the pack to go do something.”

“Do you know what that something is?”

“I don’t even know, since she just ran off without telling me anything other than it was something that she needs to go do.” (I'm relived that Sky isn't around now... All she would do is be annoying and act like a child... She really needs to grow up...) 

Before too long, Death Star called over his group with a simple howl. It wasn’t that loud, but it was unpleasant to the ears.

“Let’s finish them off!”

Flash and Nova took on Shadow, he is one of the biggest wolves, and it would be nearly impossible for one wolf to defeat on their own, even though he looks like he was already in a fight before this. Flash kept Shadow distracted as Nova pounced on him to scratch and tear his fur. As Nova was attacking, Shadow had no way of attacking Nova. Eventually, Shadow had a lot of blood loss and was bruised, and it was enough to stop him from moving.

After Nova went to hide behind the bushes again, Flash noticed that Damien was struggling. Damien wasn’t going to give up so easily, and Flash felt all of Damien’s pride and will power to take down Balto. As Flash was heading toward Damien, Lightning blocked her only way to Damien, but Lightning couldn’t move since he was fighting Death Star. Once Lightning was able to move Death Star back, Flash was too late, but she rushed over anyway. Damien was covered in blood.

“I can’t die here…It can’t be the end.”

“The stone of souls will protect you at all costs…Just don’t you dare give up on fighting.”

Damien felt relieved that everything was going to be alright. Before anyone knew it the ground started to shake, and Nova quickly pulled Flash from her neck and dragged her into the bushes.

“Why did you pull me here?”

“You’re my friend, and I don’t want you to end up having to face a consequence that you can’t avoid.”

Soon enough, a wolf that’s 10 times bigger than any other wolf with pitch back fur and red markings appeared. 

“Death Star, get your group back to the pack... I’ll deal with the mutt soon enough.”

The Nether Hounds didn’t want to leave, but they knew to obey orders from the Death Alpha. As they walked away, Death Star carried Shadow, while he was bleeding from his ear and his sides and unable to move. The others just ran off with their tails between their legs. As Death Star was carrying Shadow, he looked back towards the bushes where Flash and Nova were hiding. After that, he walked further and further away, passing the Death Alpha and going into their pack territory. After Death Star left, Flash and Nova realized that Death Star had little to no hatred coming off of him. Flash was relieved of that and hoped that someday he will come back to the Mythical pack to be with his true friends.

“Now since you have disobeyed orders, I must dispose of you myself.”

Damien was shaken up with fear, but he got up and wasn't giving in to the fear, and was standing as proud as an alpha. Before anyone knew it, the Death Alpha picked Damien up and started to make him bleed with just his teeth, and then dropped him to the ground. Damien fell to the ground so hard that he yelped in pain an was unable to move.

“Such a pity, I thought you had more fight in you than that... I guess not...you’re just as worthless as the rest.”

Damien stood up and jumped as high as he could and dug his claws deep into the Death Alpha’s fur reaching through his skin. The Death Alpha grabbed him from his spine and snapped it in half and dropped him to the ground again. Damien was in so much pain that he couldn’t move anymore.

“Well you’ve tried, but failed. You’re worthless and can’t even hope to defeat me in a battle.”

As Damien kept lying there he eventually saw a wolf with white and icy blue markings.

“My name is Winter and I’m one of the many guardians protecting the power within the stone... Allow me to lend you some of my powers.”

“I can’t just allow you to help me like that... I must fight using all the strength I have.”

“I know you have a lot of willpower, but that’s not going to be enough to fight the Death Alpha.”

“But I need to keep fighting.”

“Don’t be so stubborn. You’re just going to end up dead if you don’t use all of the souls’ power to help you out in this battle.”

“I can do this on my own without the help from the powers within the stone.”

“You can’t even move or even keep your eyes open for even a moment... Think about the others that need you right now.”

“I can’t just let you or anyone else help me fight my battles.”

“Don’t be so ignorant.... You can’t defeat him on your own, so allow us to help you.”

“I can’t just allow you to do that... I still haven’t given up and I don’t plan to back down.... I won’t let you use me... I still can move my body using my soul.”

Damien stands up, but his eyes and markings glow a neon blue.

“Still think I’m worthless?”

“How is this even possible? You should be dying in pain.”

Damien goes for the Death Alpha’s throat and dug his teeth in until he reached the bone. Then the Death Alpha grabbed him, but Damien didn’t let go, and the Death Alpha pulled him while he took a chunk of the Death Alpha’s throat, and the Death Alpha healed the wound. Damien noticed that the Death Alpha had healed himself, and it just made him so angry. Damien's eyes changed from a neon blue to a ___ color and attacked the Death Alpha none stop.

Flash could feel the rage within him, and she had a bad feeling that it wasn’t going to end well for him. As Damien kept fighting Flash felt even more rage and couldn’t stand the feeling, so she rushed in without even thinking. (Did my body just move on it’s own, but how?… I didn’t even plan or think… How is this even possible?) Damien was then pushed aside and Flash ended up bleeding from the attack from the Death Alpha.

"How dare you hurt her… You monster..!!"

Damien then attacked the Death Alpha with a lot of force and left the Death Alpha bleeding.

"How dare you mutt…" (How did he even hurt me?? That should be impossible…)

As Flash laid there in pain she wasn’t gonna give up, but the Death Alpha’s rage grew even more alongside Damien’s rage.

(I must defeat this bastard… I don’t care what happens to me… I know there are others watching, but I need to finish this fight on my own… I can’t let Flash protect me…)

Damien continuously attacked the Death Alpha harming him with every scratch and bite. Flash continuously watched Damien fight the Death Alpha.

(I would help if I wasn't in so much pain right now... It sucks that he is fighting the Death Alpha by himself... At least he is able to harm him without my help... Even if that should be impossible...)
