6AM (Epilogue)

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria was a source of controversy quite often. It wasn’t unusual for a place filled with kids and adults in equal measures. It was far too popular for no accidents to be taking place in its walls from time to time.

— But to die just like that? — Asked his helper the detective, waving his hand to ventilate himself from the smell of a corpse decaying for a couple of hours in a warm broom closet. — No visible signs on the body?

— Nothing yet, they will have to make an autopsy, but it really does seem like he went down with some sort of a myocardial infarction. — Commented the younger policeman.

The detective nodded his head, finally getting away from the door, letting the technicians gather evidence and take the body of a young man away. With a slow step he moved towards the dining area of the pizzeria.

— Terrible place, it always gave me the creeps. — He said, while looking at the three animatronics standing silently on the stage. — Who the fuck thought of making a children’s restaurant completely without windows and in this part of the town? I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone who ever came here grew up to be claustrophobic.

His companion nodded.

The decision to close the restaurant came rather quickly, but soon another Freddy’s location opened just a few hundred meters away from the already threatening collapse building. Without any repairs and anyone inside, it took only a couple of months for the roof of the pizzeria to fail and the walls to start crumbling. The old location seemed to literally deteriorate in the eyes of the nearby residents and passerbyers, taking everything that happened within its walls with it. Burying every mysterious disappearance, every unsolved death. Forever resting in the memory of the people as the place where their childhood took place and inevitably ended.

They all agreed that the spirit of this place should finally be put to rest and die, without help of any people, becoming nothing more than a memory.

They all thought the same thing about the newly opened Freddy’s Pizzeria: “Why?”
