Hello. I'm going to drop this story. I had actually a full like 20 pages of worldbuilding and planning for this, but I stored it on my school laptop. That was a mistake... The plan for laptops was to turn them back into the school the last day, so I thought I would just transfer files from my hard drive the day before, but instead the school wiped it mostly remotely. The entirety of the "Desktop" section of explorer was wiped, and I didn't have any idea how to get it back. I didn't really store anything in my own head as I was mostly focused on school and finals.

A second reason for dropping this is because it's too bland. I wanted something original. I wanted the mc to adapt to the world quickly, but I also wanted to avoid the mc feeling like a bad isekai protagonist, and I unbalanced the two with my inexperience. I think the concept was... ok, but the first chapter didn't match up with the rest. The mc would have gotten better, but the first chapter promised a calm and rational mc that didn't exist because I didn't want a manipulative mc.

If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

Definitely going to write a new novel, with a more original concept, and I can promise more than 10 chapters for this one if my computer doesn't implode. Thank you for listening to my rant.

TL;DR My laptop got wiped and I don't have the energy to continue the story without my ~20 page worldbuilding doc. I will be starting a new story though.
