Sisterly Bond

The night was heavenly, as it’s dark sky was accommodated by the sparkle of millions of stars that model with the moon to allow the looker’s eyes to be captivated by a sight of beauty. With its cool breeze flowing between the trees, making whistles of the songs going into tomorrow whilst the lawn grass glittered with dew. As a slight to heavy shower awaiting to rain down.

While on their way to the movies, [Majesty glance over at Kacie] seeing that he had a look of despair on his face, she asked hesitantly, “…are you still upset about that stupid love letter?”

Kacie replies in an audacious manner, “Are you still mad about your stupid face?”

Majesty, “Well it’s good to see that you’re still mouthy as ever, but for real though the letter was pretty stupid”

[Kacie gave her irritated eyes] murmuring angrily “Shut up! It’s not stupid, ok!”

Majesty “Yeah sure it’s not [rounds eyes], but I don’t get it, you’re not ugly, .........well not that much at least but you’re a really nice and smart person, I mean you have anger issues and all but who cares. Why don’t you just walk up to her and tell her how you feel?”

Kacie “It’s not that easy”

Majesty “Huh?”

[Kacie looks out the car window] “You won’t understand”

[Majesty placed her hand on his shoulder] as she responded with “Yeah I kind of do actually”

[Kacie gave her a look of confusion] as he asked, “What are you talking about?”

Majesty responds “Well there was this boy at school that I really liked, you know the handsome one and captain of the volleyball team type of guy [Majesty vaguely smiles]. When I finally was in a relationship with him, I realized that he was a total loser, under all those good looks and fame on the exterior, he was nothing but a shell on the inside, just a hollow shell filled with nothingness.”

[Majesty Sighs]

“Look Kacie just because the spotlights on someone doesn’t mean that they’re an angel because they shine brighter than everyone else. The real angels are concealed in the shadows as they do God's work without seeking any fame or rewards” she said.

Kacie arrogantly blurted out “You know, if I was rich, I would not have these confidence problems”

Majesty displeased with what she just heard “Now that’s just dumb! Why do you think that will make a difference?”

Kacie “That’s what Sam Walton always say”

Majesty “I know you listen to that guy too much [slaps face], money is just a lifeless object at the end of the day, Kacie; it might help you get the girl for a moment but what’s inside of you [She points at his chest] will let the girl get you”

Kacie then began to ponder about what Majesty just said.

Kacie replied with “I never really thought about it in that way before, [sighs] it’s probably a good thing that you destroyed the letter”

Majesty “I won’t say that [smiles], to be quite honest it was so nerdy that it was kind of cute”

Kacie “Do you really think so?”

Majesty began to chuckle “Yes, I really do think so, loser”

Kacie put on a bright grin on his face as he said “Thank you I guess, big sis”

Majesty “No problem little bro”

Both siblings did their special handshake with each other to make the moment a memorable one. Majesty and Kacie were close since that was his only sister and best friend he ever had at the time.

Majesty “But why did you write my dearest if you already put dear Kayla?”

Kacie focused his face as he asked “What?”

Majesty “The letter, stupid”

Kacie realizing what she had meant replied with “Oh, to have an effect………you know what, shut up and forget about it”

Majesty fake coughs as she said “Idiot” while rubbing his hair

Kacie “Hey stop that, you will mess up my hair”

Majesty “[grins]Don’t worry I will comb it when we get back”

Kacie “Hmm, since when you got all knowable about giving advice?”

Majesty “I been watching a ton of Steve Harvey lately”

Kacie “[laughs] of course”

Majesty “Hey, the guy be talking a lot of shit but sometimes he gives great advice”
