Chapter I: Heroes of Existence

- An empire with a good leader can defeat even Gods...

"Yawwwwwwwwnn! My good sir, with all due respect, your discussion is getting boring. Is there something much more interesting than this?"

A bored, sleepy voice of a boy meddled in the middle of the discussion. Everyone inside the classroom looked at him with a disappointed face, and it seems that everyone hates him, including the educator itself.

"Fate, why don't you just shut up and listen?" the educator told the boy in a sharp and annoyed manner. "If you took every single class seriously, you won't end up repeating the same grade nine times over. You can't even fight a level 3 monster, let alone use magic spells."

The boy's name turned out to be Fate. He is a third grader knight that specializes in, nothing but failing his classes, at least for everyone inside the classroom. Every single class. A boy that had so much potential but lost it all.

The whole classroom was filled with laughter and cackle as Fate was rendered speechless and embarrassed after what the educator said to him. Everyone sarcastically talked to him, which made Fate more embarrassed. He even got annoyed when someone made fun of his failure.

"You still haven't learned your lesson, eh?" the educator told Fate, "Never talk to an experienced person unless you have proven yourself educated." The classroom was filled with silence after that.

"Now, where were we?" The educator exclaimed. He then walked to a bookshelf, taking a large book filled with dust. As he opened the book, torn pages flew everywhere. The educator kept flipping pages as if he was looking for something hard to find.

"Ah, yes. Here it is," the educator announced. "Today, we will discuss what really is our Kingdom. What lies beyond the stories of this Kingdom? What and who are the legends that stabilized the Kingdom of Tera?"

A girl raised a hand. The educator noticed it immediately.

"Ohohoho, look who raised her hand. I never saw you participating in my past discussion," the educator excitedly exclaimed. "Let's see what you got, what's your name, missy?"

"Lucien," she said in a cold, lifeless manner. There must be something going on with her.

"How do you classify yourse-"

"I'm a third-grader sage, my good sir," Lucien exclaimed before the educator gets to finish his question. Everyone, including Fate and the educator, was surprised about what Lucien said. It seems like something's big about being a sage. The educator clapped with excitement after he heard how Lucien classifies herself.

"Teranthes is mighty of them all!! How confident of you, miss Lucien! No one in this kingdom ever said their classification as being a sage but...wowww!! I'm very surprised! You must've trained your magical energy all the way up to its limits, I wish you good lu-"

"Graletz Paladias, the crusher of time. Amakagi Jinriyu, the ripper of space. Swan Tazelt, the reality fabric destroyer. Those are the three legendary warriors known as 'The Hero of Existence' that built the kingdoms of four dimensions, including the Kingdom of Tera. But among other kingdoms, they value the Kingdom of Tera the most as the Teran Warriors provided support during the first Overseer War between the four Overseers that controls the space.

"Without the Teran Warriors, the Hero of Existence won't be able to initiate a counterattack to the Overseers as they can manipulate the space itself, manipulating it just how the Overseers wanted. The Teran Warriors knew what was the Overseer's weakness that neither the Overseers nor the Hero Of Existence noticed. Teran Warri-"

"O-okay okay! You may sit down already, miss Lucien. I will discuss the rest of the history," the educator nervously exclaimed with a surprised voice, meddling to Lucien. She didn't hesitate to sit down. She looked to the window to her right afterward.

"I must say, I am very surprised about what miss Lucien knows. I knew she had potential!" The educator said with excitement. Everyone was amazed at how intelligent Lucien was, filling the room with claps.

Fate raised his hand, and the Educator noticed it. "Well well well, look who raised his hand. Is there something you wanna share, young guy?" The educator asked. The classroom was once again filled with silence.

"Yes, my good sir. And it's all about the three Heroes of Existence," Fate replied afterward.

"Ohohoho! It seems that you knew this from the start, young guy. Please, share everything and make this class interesting," the educator said.

"As you wish, my good sir," Fate confidently replied. He smirked at everyone as if he was boasting about his knowledge.

"Graletz Paladias is a bulky, tall man wearing armor so sturdy that it can withstand almost anything. He is the front of the Hero of Existence, the initiator of war. He is known for his sheer strength as he wielded the Warhammer of Hours that can stop the time once it is smashed onto something," Fate stated.

"Amakagi Jinriyu is a young, slender girl feared by the assassins due to her speed that can break the sound barrier. She's the brain of the Hero of existence as she possesses the intelligence so high it is considered outworldly. She wielded the Harvester of Space that can rip the dimensions of space apart.

"And Swan Tazelt, the head of the Hero of Existence. She has the ability to see the future. Together with Amakagi Jinriyu, the Hero of existence is almost unstoppable. As she can see the future, she knows how their enemy will move, and how their enemies plan to initiate war. As such, she can tell how the game would end. She could dictate how the game would end if she wanted to. She wielded the Sword of Fantasy that is capable of slashing the thin threads of reality."

The class was filled with laughter after Fate shared his knowledge with the class. After all, everyone knows about what he just stated.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You know that everyone knows what you just said, right??", a sarcastic voice was heard in a distance. "Fate, you'll never get out of this grade!! HAHAHAHA!"

Fate felt very embarrassed as he remembered that he repeated the Third Grade Selection about ten times over. No improvements have been made. He is truly a boy with a potential that lost it all.

Moments later, the laughter was interrupted with a loud siren, indicating that something bad was going on.

"ALERT! ALERT! A LEVEL FOUR HUMANOID HAS INFILTRATED THE TERAN ACADEMY! I REPEAT, A LEVEL FOUR HUMANOID HAS INFILTRATED THE TERAN ACADEMY! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!" A voice in the siren has been heard. Just a few seconds later, a distant scream was heard, and it seems like it came from the hallway.

The educator remained calm despite the crisis, but he's sweating a lot, depicting a nervous reaction. Everyone in the classroom panicked, and it seems like the situation became everyone for themselves. But Lucien, she's not showing any signs of fear and panic. She's just staring blankly into the sky and doesn't give any signs of emotion.

Fate hurriedly approached Lucien. "WHAT THE FUCK LUCIEN??? THERE'S LITERALLY A LEVEL FOUR MONSTER INFILTRATED THIS GODDAMN ACADEMY!! HELP YOURSELF FOR THE LOVE OF TERANTHES!!" Fate shouted in fear and panic as he tremble with stress.

"It's just a level four monster. It's not a big deal," Lucien coldly replied. She is an emotionless person, after all. She then stood up and walked toward the door that leads to the hallway.

"W-wait WHAT?!" Fate shouted, "LUCIEN!! IT'S A LEVEL FOUR MONSTER!! IT SLAUGHTERS EVERYTHING ALIVE!! WHAT ARE YOU-"

"I can handle this, Fate. Just shut the fuck up and provide protection for this classroom."

"Sigh, if that's what you want," Fate replied under his breath.

"Just be safe out there..."
