5 years has passed, a boy can be seen squatting down in front of a small leafless wilting tree, in the center of a caldesac. The child, with light brown skin and dark green hair, can be seen with his hands hovering in front of the tree as if he's mystically healing it; his shining clear eyes staring strongly in front.
Through the boy's eyes you would be able to see the tree's very dark brown aura slowly but surely getting better. After year of observing different things, he has come to learn that his gaze tells him many things like the health, affinity, intents, and shatterpoints of the things he gaze upon.
His strong and pure focus on the tree, would give you the impression that he's naive and childish. But the call of a familiar voice, quickly destroys that impression for the look the boy gives of now is one of young predator, innocent but deadly.
"Alderam!" he hears.
Following the voice to its source, he spots his mother Delia, which cause the boy to show off a bestial excitement. As he gets up and innocently starts running towards Delia, who is standing in the doorway of their small home.

During his run to his mother, looking around you couldn't help but take notice of the state of area. Being poor was an understatement, the area was closer to desolate. With the majority, of the housing abandoned and on the verge of collapse, the whole caldesac only has four houses actually worth occupying.
Alderam eyes focusing on his mother, you can tell she's weak due to her boney look; although, her smile shows her vibrant personality and good mood. Through his eyes, he sees a black stain hidden deep in her aura, which he can tell is an illness, by it's insidous look. His eyes showing an sharp glint, as her resolves himself to help change the conditions of their lives.
At the kitchen table, Alderam eating with his mothed, spys on Delia aura everytime he looks up. Delia noticing his constant peeking asks
"what's wrong." Noticing he been caught decides to just be straightforward with his question, ebbing away at his thoughts.
"Mother, are you sick?" He asks in a concern voice.
The question catches Delia off guard and, the concern he has for her, causes her to smile. She answers contently with an enthusiastic "yes". Alderam, locking onto the stain, decided to drop the matter for now, knowing her answer to be a lie. After finishing his meal, Alderam walks back out to start working on the again. Its close to 8 pm when he calls it a day, as he's leaving he stops to look at the tree, that can be seen with three newly grown leaves.
