Chapter: 2 Arc: 1
Whistling of air blowing over him rang in his ear, scattered clouds shimmered in a deep gray color emanated the same way he felt, hand twitching on the steps of a tall staircase gave rise to the Boy. Body broken and ravaged by the fight it was a miracle he was even alive, trembling under the mortality of his wounds the Boy would do his best to get up, faltering as he rose until he got up on his feet limped over to the side looking on ahead in weakness. Barely able to gaze ahead he would gasp for a quick breath- lungs punctured by fragments of his ribs he could feel a brisk end growing near..except..there was this odd feeling, almost as if..something was calling him nearer..
I must Go Closer..They..
They Call Me..
Now on his feet the Boy gripped at his right arm, now completely fractured and damn near a limp piece of flesh, he tore off the remaining of his scarf off his neck revealing his battered blood covered dirty face once more and make it into a sling. The tightening of the sling made him bite his tongue and whimper in pain, the agony getting so extreme from him finalizing the tightening he damn near whimpered as he fell to his side against the steps. Battered up left hand softly passing itself over the steps as he began to realize where this could possibly be, the giant illustration he saw on the undead mans desk?!, it can't be..w-we just need to get help any help..and...and..Join them. The message rang in his head over and over again as if by a miracle his body would gain some strength and push on forward up the strange marble steps.
Each step a groan, crack, or popping sound echoed out of the boys body as he went up the steps, his torn apart feet doing their absolute best to keep him standing as with a glance back he could see he was so far in the sky he could see the horizon dotted with clouds down below. Weakness catching up but the message ringing stronger and stronger he would clasp at the steps as he ascended, blood drooling down every part of his body and the heavy panting like breathing as he went on and on, soft warm otherworldly marble stairs being the only thing keeping him from passing out. A loud crack in his side and he collapsed, wailing out in pain as his face slammed against the marble staircase, Push Forward..Your Almost Home..Little One, the voice rang on, a sinister whisper tugging at his soul to go on..
Finally back to his feet, the boy pushed in ahead up the stairs till he made it to the top, and as he pushed his way with his remaining strength to a large marble platform he looked ahead and witnessed something truly believable in myth. It was a large cauldron-like bowl embedded into the marble floor, like a dream he gazed all about trying to see such a point of him being here until he recalled the paper he analyzed at the undead mans dwelling, a strange ethereal vase covered in symbols and seemed to have been of great importance to the Corpse. His lip shuddered as if the animalistic sense of getting out of here was on overdrive- a Touch! A touch of a cold hand passed its way across his left shoulder making him jerk back in confusion only to see no one there, again and he turned around again only to hear a snap in his right leg causing him to fall back but to his surprise he was standing still all along, it was all in his head.
In reality, the Boy was standing right in front of the large cauldrons lid, the swirling of ethereal energy seeming like souls spun before collapsing down in the center into a dark abyss void of life, hair blowing all around from the speed and power of said rotation yet he stayed absolutely still. The boy was pale from blood loss and getting worse, body at the point was at the brink of giving out and letting him fall in head first, mind clear he would almost give into the feeling. Echoing screams of those spirits blowing by his ear felt like a cold welcome into his end. His lip would quiver as he tried to grab one last breath.. his foot raising up and over the bowl's lip as if he was about to walk inside and fall inside along with the rest- his body's weakness would make him limp and as it gave out he went in headfirst. A strange presence standing behind him, cold, dark, emotionless watched this all happen, it was if he was followed here and yet just as he was about to fall in something else came from the shadows..falling in Until..
A sudden strong pull would grab him by his hair and yank him back down causing him to tumble down the stairs, the staircase was long and the further he fell the more alive he became to the point he bashed his head again and it went dark. The sniffing feeling on his cheek and face would would wake him but now indoors in some strange place, his hand quaked in pain making him shoot up from the loss of adrenaline. Now upright and still heavily injured he would groan out in pain, holding his chest only to notice he had a blue old plain T-shirt on and under a brand new bandage with some weird slimy feeling underneath- he sniffed underneath and it was like a soft lavender vanilla smell, checking his body to see a bunch of bandages only to hear a click?!
He would face up only to notice a large single gun barrel aimed straight at his forehead and at the end of it as the light began to settle in his eyes would reveal a strange creature. The creature had its eyes seemingly closed yet looked like it could see him- a smile spread across the creature's face as it pushed the barrel down on the boy's head, it had a short gray fur covered body, elongated ears with strange piercings spanning the lengths of said ears, thin long tail with a serrated bladed edge, and worn down desert style clothing with a small face mask blocking their mouth. The creature would cockily raise a glass with its other hand as thebladed tail would graze past the boy's cheek, a quick movement and he could be sliced into little bits..oh..damn. Never mind the tail, this was a strange small animal wearing weird clothing aiming a large gun bigger than itself at the boy with somehow only one hand, it would throw the glass aside then say aloud: "OYE OYE OYE mhjerrè vajiàarë brtineè haké iñi!" The boy didn't even mutter a word only stare with a blank facial expression not knowing what this strange feline-looking creature had just said, the Creature would notice this reaction and would scratch its chin pondering on something before tossing the gun in the air and making it bounce on the floor behind it.
The gun would automatically shot and the pellets headed in the creatures direction, but almost if by magic, its tail would lash out forward and slice all the pellets before they were even able to hit him and he didn't even have to face it. The boy got hit by one of the pellet pieces and examined it confused as to how it was able to do such a thing without seeing the pellets fire, the creature shrugged its shoulders and put its hands behind its head saying aloud again: "Vijè Vijè muthâharaá franza?!". The creature cleared its throat to the point of coughing, before it would hold its hand out and say to the boy "My name is Kÿr.. a pleasure to meet you..~", the creature would give a hearty smile out of nowhere unlike the sinister one it gave prior when armed. The boy in a state of weakness and to the mercy of this creature named "Kÿr?" would glance around in confusion unable to speak before grabbing the creature's hand with a few fingers since its hands were so small in an attempt to shake said hand. They shook hands and the instant it was over the creature named Kÿr shot back and ran into the darkness of the cavern it seemed it lives in, it was almost a subterranean like cavern well lit and mostly maintained except for the occasional bone from a dead carcass laying around here and there, but after a moment the creature Kÿr came back and would have one of the scimitars and satchel back to the boy. Seeing this act of kindness the Boy was surprised they would do such a thing for him, picking up the satchel and slowly putting it around his bandaged shoulder examining the stuff he had within seeing as though there wasn't really anything missing except a good piece here and there to where he would glance at the creature named Kÿr, but in gratitude the Boy would sit back and weakly put his hands together in thanks.

Kÿr the strange feline-like creature would sit cross crossed legs from the Boy and in kindness would shrug and smile feeling a bit flattered from such a gesture, "Pfftt ya don't gotta be so formal with me..but you are lucky- I sensed some bad time shenanigans up at that place and when I got there I saw you..lucky find I guess Heheh..". The Boy in confusion would lean his head to the side would raise his now separated hands and do odd symbols, attempting to communicate in a unique form of sign language to Kÿr, but in his misfortune the feline-like creature would stare at him a bit puzzled from it all. "Can't talk? Agh..that's a bummer, well I know you can at least hear me..Hmn..", Kÿr would mumble to himself as he got up with his stub like legs, the Boy analyzed the creature being confused as to what he could truly be only for his thoughts to be interrupted by the creature, "Aight I think ya should stand..don't wantcha going legless on me too now~", Kÿr joked as he hopped back and forth for a moment with a smile.
Kÿr signaling with his hands moving them only up to try and get the boy to stand, seeing this as not an issue the boy would attempt to get up and stand stand up straight. Wincing in pain a few times before getting it done with a bit of tipping over a bit he would manage to get it done and with his posture mostly set and injuries being treated the Boy would stare down at the creature. The feline-like creature Kÿr would see the boy stand up tall and he fell back onto his ass catching himself against a small bench behind him, he shook his head and rubbed his seemingly closed eyes in shock and said aloud:
"All Maker and one Above All you are Incredibly Tall!!?"
The boy stood there with his head leaned to the side confused as to what the small feline was talking about, but before he could even sign the small creature was running around again but this time holding some thick stones and stacking them on top of one another right by the boy. The boy would watch from sheer curiosity till the pile was just to his exact height- Kÿr the small monster would scurry back to a quick halt in front of the boy and calculate the height of the boy based on the stone's thickness. "1..3..six.. mm.. Your.. Y-your.. h.. your 8ft 7inches tall?!!" Kÿr said amazed by the boy's height as from a quick second it would seem like Kÿr's eyes would open and a strange yellow glow came from them only for him to stand by the stones too and place his hand at the top of his head saying: "Bbb-BuTT.. that's not Fair!? I'm only 4ft 10inches?! Aghhh damn you scaling stones!!-" he said pointing his finger and making a pew sound only for the stones to crumble and the boy to fumble back spooked by the sudden destruction.
Kÿr blew smoke out from the ends of his fingers till his fingers slid back to his pockets, the creature acted like a child yet comedic in a way- the boy simply stared and watch the creature act as if it had been lonely this whole time and now that he was there it had an audience to show itself to. Kÿr in his own excitement would run around grabbing any little things he had and showed of his trinkets to the boy over time as he healed- making sure not a single moment wasn't dull. Night had fallen upon them as from a false skylight on the caves rooftop the two planets from the heavens glowed a beautiful green and red hue over the desert and interior of the room. Kÿr was exhausted from the day he just had spending it with the boy and unlike many- he actually stayed and listened to every single point and item brung by the little creature for 10 hours straight, but now the two sat at a small fire made by the monster feline and they both would stare deeply into it. Weapons, old toys, strange creature bones, everything was showcased as the two played with one another- even though their time together was brief the Boy had become fond of this little creature and Kÿr of him..it was If Fate..
The warm red glow of the fire hummed over Kÿr's gray furred face as he stared coldly at the flame.. "Thinking about it.. I'm sure there is such a language barrier between us Id imagine we'd never understand one another.. like a stone wall is blocking us off- I know I've just met you but I've had fun.. it's.. it's been so long since I've had anyone to speak to.." Kÿr would glance over at the boy with a small smile and a hopeful look across his face saying "Although I don't know your name .. and you can't say mine (for what I know) I'm happy I saved you from the Fáqûire (Fa-Que-Ire), you've been a great talking buddy..". The boy faced the feline and would slowly nod back having a small but shared smile back, he'd only stutter with a grated deep voice as if never spoken before "K-ír..U", Kÿr although not knowing this stranger for long grew slightly attached having a small chuckle from the pronunciation but he appreciated the attempt
The night was long and the temperature shifted dramatically at odd times in the desert which is why people had massive fires with little to no cover just in case the heat skyrocketed while they were asleep. The boy was curled up against a stone pillar, seemingly brought here as it was out of place, yet was comfortable enough to rest against as he was long since asleep; Kÿr on the other hand was laid flat against a pile of firewood as his limbs were shot in all directions having the best sleep ever- his tail slowly moving in randoms directions, the blade passing over rocks and even some of the wood cutting it like if it was made of butter.
The fire glowed a deep blue and the sky radiated with beautiful colors.. the stars all shined their brightest and comets dashed across the skies sending their blessings to whoever come see them pass, with the elegant two planets always stuck in place looming over the world below watching the plane sleep ever so peacefully. The desert was quiet.. too quiet, not even any small arthropods crawled in the sands nor any nearby small mammals it was barren.. permanently barren- off in the distance by hundreds of miles the top of the cauldron was visible and tonight it began to pulse.. pulse with a deep red color into the heavens above.. . For a spec of light shot out the center and flew across the skies passing over everything till worlds never seen beyond their reach...
However, up on the skylight, someone was above the two.. watching them ever so closely- shrouded in a dark cloak with only a hollow yellow eye it stared them down. It's deep raspy breathing overcoming the noise of the fire below but not enough to wake the two- it would pant hard as blood filled saliva dripped onto the cold sandstone beneath them, harsh breaths echoing out like if it couldn't breathe properly before disappearing.. vanishing away without a trace in sight...
Foregone..
