So Ariadne was finally about to see her father. Cool, well but, she was struck with her sick brother. No way was Uncle Daniel letting a 12-year-old girl hop across countries by herself. Stupid brother and his stupid asthma. Not that he was much older. Well if one good thing came out of it because of his attack earlier the air hostess was nice enough to give them a seat in first class.
Carl and his friend Riggers were going home after a long time. Carl couldn't wait. He missed his daughter and wife so much.
"Are you excited to see your family again," Carl asked his friend who was comfortably reading the newspaper beside him.
Riggers looked up, a smile stapled to his face. "Yes, and if I'm being honest, it's one of my child's birthday today."
"Wow, they must be really happy that dad is coming home on their birthday!" Carl was as carefree as usual. "Ohhhhhh, are you giving them a surprise?"
Riggers laughed. "Oh no, she knows I'm coming."
I didn't know Riggers had a daughter. Carl noticed the backside of the newspaper Riggers were reading. "Hey, you made it into the paper!"
Riggers raised his eyebrows. Sure enough, upon turning the paper around, there he was standing at attention beside Carl."Tell you what show this picture to your children I'm sure they would love it."

Ariadne knew his dad from when she was really young. Her mom used to sneak her out to see him. Ariadne loved those afternoons away from the screams and shouting of the house. At that time she still didn't know that he was her father. Mom never told her. But the DNA test surely did.
She looked at her half brother, pale and asleep, beside her. Half brother. Carter helped her find her real dad. The one who actually fathered her. Her actual dad! Ariadne couldn't wait. She was so excited she couldn't sit still. Her breathing was hard and her heart thundered. If she was not 12 she might have known that these were symptoms of anxiety, not excitement, but now she lived in her ignorant bliss.
Ariadne's mother was one of the most beautiful women she knew. She had long lush golden hair and light blue eyes. Of course, she wouldn't choose an arsonist. Carter was just a mistake. But she came to her senses just in time for Ariadne.
"Are we there yet?" Her stupid brother yawned. He had guts to sound so casual after the scene he created just a while ago. Ari was still mad at him for that so she ignored her.
Carter frowned. "What is wrong with you?" He said and poked her. Poked her. How dare he.
She turned her head away from him and called over the nice air hostess. But for some reason, there was no reply. Weird.
The air hostess was nervous. A good nervous. She was shaking in glee. She was usually a nice person, always following the rules, never making any mistakes. But it was different now. She was finally going to stand up for herself and her brothers.
That was what went through the 20-year-old girl as she took out the hidden shotgun from the cabin where the shaking pilot and copilot were held at gunpoint. She turned to the passengers back straight gun in the hand and demanded, "Nobody move."
Inside the cabin, the air hostess’s brother could not believe his luck. He smiled cruelly at the list of passengers’ names that he took from the cabin.
