I wake up under the shade of the Weeping Willow. The sunlight sneaks through the leaves of the tree and burns my skin. Unclear voices around me.
“…to explain it. There’s just no way Rolly. We have to do something else.”
“Shh… Moira. I think she’s waking up”
“O, hallo sweetie! You slept well? “ Moira asks me. I try to move and realize my arm hurts badly.
“What… what happened?” My voice is muffled.
“Oh, we are hoping the doors of the Campus to open any minute sweetie.”
“My arm. It hurts…”
“You’ve got hit by Rolly’s bullet. She thought you are bishops and shoot at you.” Says a boy standing next to me.
“Thankfully Moira got it out while you were still in unconsciousness.” The girl says with a big smile revealing her white teeth.
“And uh, I am Rolly… and I’m so very sorry for shooting you. This is my younger brother Rico.” She points at the boy.
“Oh, well, thanks. It was a refreshing feeling.“ I say in a hopeless try to be funny. She hardly laughs:
“I hope you get better soon.”
Suddenly I remember the dream that I had. The same train again, but this time it was travelling through a city made of luminescent lights, high glass buildings and skyscrapers. Someone was standing behind me, touching my hairs and repeating my name. In the window in front of me I was seeing my strange reflection. Long curly red hair, green eyes, freckles, fine figure. Everything that describes me but I was standing there observing, like the environment wasn’t real, like I wasn’t real. After a brief moment of surprise I tell to Moira and the others of my bizarre dream.
“What was the city like?”
Moira asks me. Is this the only thing she could think of?
“I have already told you. It was weird. It had so many buildings and they were all made of glass. I couldn’t see much.” I answer.
“How about the person behind you?”
“It was a man. I couldn’t see him very well aswell, actually I didn’t see him at all. I was looking at my own reflection almost all the time.”
“Why would you do that?” Her questions are getting more and more persistent.
“I don’t know. There was something strange in my reflection.”
“Felt like it’s not you?”
“Yes, exactly.” I answer. She sighs softly.
“I think you need to get rest. I’m going to look for some food, you should stay here with Rico. Come on Rolly lets go.” I look at Moira and Rolly as they walk away. So many questions are fighting in my mind which one to be asked first. I turn at Rico and just spit the first one:
“Would you tell me what have happened there? What was that thing that was chasing you two?” The questions are rolling one after another.
“What happened after I passed out?” I talk so fast and even I can’t catch my breath.
“Calm down Teyreen. You will suffocate.” Rico says peacefully.
“Tell me all! I have to know!” I insist.
“We bumped on a sentry on our way back home and it attacked us. We were trying to run away from it when Moira managed to distract it. But we didn’t know it was her. So when we saw you both we thought that you are bishops and started shooting at you. You got hit by one of Rolly’s bullets and passed out.” He recites quickly.
“Wait, wait, wait! What’s a sentry and a bishop?”
“We call sentries these animals which are hunting here during the nights. And bishops… well, those are some nasty creatures that protect the sentries.”
“So there are monster out here during the night?” I ask almost afraid of the answer.
“Oh, no, they are not monsters. They are just hungry animals.”
“Just hungry animals?! They sounded like some giant hungry animals!” I look around as if one of them is hiding in the weeds nearby.
“Oh, yes, they are pretty massive but not so big just… massive.”
“What happened when I passed out?”
“The sentry when after Moira’s explosion bar and we hid in the subway where we saw Moira who was trying to take the bullet out of your arm. You slept like a baby the whole night after that don’t worry.” He hesitates:

“Nothing else happened.” Long moment of uncomfortable silence. I realize that the answers he gave me only gave birth to more questions. But I feel tired and don’t ask more. Blissful feeling and I fall asleep again.
The train. The noises. My reflection but not me. I’m attracted to the reflection once again. And then a thought sneaks in my mind:
“What is going on here?” I turn and look around. It is just a regular train. But why do I always dream it? The only difference between my dreams is that the train is never traveling the same direction as the previous dream.
I walk out of the cabin and find myself in the tight long corridor of the train. There’s no one even there. Choosing the left path I start walking slowly checking every cabin which I pass by. They are all empty. A second after I sense something weird: something is trying to pull be back and it all turns black.
“Come back Teyreen! Come back now!” Rico screaming at me and shaking my body. I hardly open my eyes to see his frightened face above me.
“Something weird was going on with you Teyreen.” He says.
“What do you mean by weird?” I try to open my eyes.
“You were… you were… I don’t know how to explain it. At first you were here sleeping calmly, the next moment you were gone for like five minutes or so and after that you came back out of the thin air!”
Not long after Moira and Rolly are back caring some fruits and herbs laughing softly. Drawn in my own thoughts I don’t say a word, even though Rico can’t stop talking. He shares everything with them even the dream which I had told him previously. At first they only listen.
“Just what I have thought.” says Rolly in the end and turns my way.
“You can travel Teyreen!” Her words pull me back to the reality. She seems to be very excited.
“Travel? What do you mean I can travel?”
“Tell me Teyreen was the city under a mountain like ours?” she asks.
“I think it was, yes. Does it matter?”
“Of course it matters! You can travel between time and space, from one place to another, from one moment to another!“ now she is so excited that her eyes look like they are going to pop out any minute.
“You mean something like teleporting?”
“Yes, well, something like this but not exactly.”
“This is just ridiculous Rolly! I was having a foolish dream nothing more.”
“Can’t you see! She doesn’t get it! I knew we shouldn’t tell her.” Suddenly says Moira out of anger.
“Let’s just get her home safely and forget about this. Alright?”
“I think she should know Moira.”
“I don’t think so!” now Moira is almost shouting at Rolly’s face.
Anger overwhelms me aswell and I intrude them:
“Do I have the word about this or not? After all it’s me who you are talking about! Right?” They both look shocked but neither one of them says a thing until Rolly looks at me and says:
“Come on Teyreen. We are returning back to the Campus. They have opened the doors.” She grabs my waist and pulls me up.
I didn’t hear the sound of the doors opening but from here I can already see the giant windows glowing under the morning sun. This whole thing exhausted me and right now all I desire is to lay in my bed and forget all. Soon we are standing in front of a window with a lattice with three missing pieces just like the one on my window. Obviously it’s not just me who have found a way to open a window and break the lattices.
Through the apartment probably of Rico and Rolly I got back on the familiar streets of the Campus and head my way home. We split up without a word. After all they are only some people who I don’t know.
My home is waiting. As I enter through the door I see myself in the mirror. A girl with a bondage on the left arm is staring at me. My curly hair is a mess, my eyes are almost closed, but this is me.
