AI Plays Pokémon

"What's up, my fellow trainer wannabes! On today's stream, I have something interesting for us to watch: I have an AI that knows all the Pokemon games. Neither secret items, easter eggs, bugs, or anything else will be hidden from it. So, in theory, the AI should show us the most optimal run, the first starting with FireRed. What do ya think, Chat?

carnage1245_: Lets GO!

TwoSaltySalmon: Squirtle Squad, rise!

Ranyull: Hi

disapointedsalt: It's been done before. Boring

Vexlich: What's different about this AI?

amai_baibu: Yeah, go back to Pokken.

"Come on, guys, that other stream was about the AI learning how to play the game. Ours already knows and should be able to beat all the speedrun world records, and yes, Amai, I will be playing Pokken after this finishes. Anyway, let's get the show on the road!

carnage1245_: I thought this wasn't Modded.

Vexlich: Why is he moving like that and hitting the walls?

disapointedsalt: HAHAHA this is your impressive AI that beats records.

amai_baibu: LOL

Ranyull: Hey he made it to the PC.

"I don't know what's happening. I didn't mod the game, and I've tried this AI before; it didn't act like this before. It never even named itself before. Let me check to see if there's something wrong... Okay, everything is correct; it hasn't been modded, and it's the right AI put in, so let's roll with it."

In a faraway place, a man was looking at his phone, passing the time away from his walk away from work. When he came across a streamer he liked. He joined in to know what it was about. While he was crossing the street, a van swerved towards him.

The man was sent flipping through the air. He landed, laying on his back, gasping for air. With his vision going in and out, he saw people crowd him. He couldn't focus on all the voices around him, but as his vision started to go out, he heard, "Anyway, let's get the show on the road!"

"Shit, that's how I go out; getting hit by a van while paying attention to my phone! All I'll hear at my funeral is my mother yelling at me that I should have gotten off that damn phone. But what am I to do now?" the man said.

Suddenly, the room he was in shifted. The previous black room turned into an irritating bright blue color all around him. he hears some noise, but it's all mumbled. It stopped for a while, and he waited to see if anything else would happen.... nothing. "Oh boy, I'm gonna go crazy if I can't do anything in this place."

Soon after, he started to hear muffled sounds again, but they stopped shortly later. After waiting for what felt like forever, the man started to cry maniacally, then began talking to himself, "Jack, you have finally made yourself crazy." Shortly, he began to hear the voice again.

With the voice becoming louder but jumbled and the brightness of the blue room growing, Jack yelled, "Stop with this damn Blue room and voice; get me out of here!" Shortly after Jack stopped hearing the voice, he felt himself shrink while the room blacked out.

Jack suddenly woke up in an unfamiliar Bed. He shifted to the left, instantly out of bed, facing the direction he moved towards. Jack was surprised by the sudden change of view and stumbled forward several times. With each step, he brought himself the same equal distance. He quickly came upon a wall, slamming his body against it.

From the collision, he took a step backward. His point of view instantly turns 180° back towards his bed. Jack slips, taking an action to his left, Shifted his view 90°. He suddenly sees stairs heading downwards. Jack places his hand on the wall while making no more movement, trying to prevent himself from vomiting.

While Jack was resting, he was glad to leave that bright room but regretted coming to this confusing space. He took some deep breaths and looked around the room. He saw a TV in the middle of the room with a green carpet and a bed past it. A bookshelf and a computer are hidden in the corner of the room. At the same time, the stairs were still in front of him.

Jack decided after all that's happened to him, he needed to get information quickly. He tried to rush to the computer but stumbled from the quick view change. Slowly, he got up and took a step forward. He realized stepping forward was normal, except for the fact each step was always the same. He kept it up till he got back to his bed.

What frightened him now was his inability to shift his legs. He could turn his neck, shoulders, and waist to look around, but not his legs. Unhurried, he raised his right foot and stepped sideways. This time, Jack was prepared for the sudden view change. Now knowing his way of walking, he swiftly made his way to the computer.

When he arrived at the computer, he was facing the wall. Jack wasn't sure what to do; he didn't want to sidestep, making himself collide with it. After thinking for a second, he picked up his right foot but immediately placed it down, causing him to turn without moving. Annoyed at his new movement, he got to the computer and booted it up. Only three options were available.

Jack felt like he had seen this once before but couldn't remember, so he clicked once more.

With another click, it brought him a new screen that made Jack realize where he'd seen this before: Pokemon. Jack has played every game that has come out. He quickly Withdrew the potion in the PC, knowing it might be helpful later. Jack wasn't entirely convinced he was inside the Pokemon world, so he impatiently closed out of the PC and went to the stairs.

What greeted him was a woman that he recognized as Delia Ketchum. His supposedly new mother. With his newfound confidence that he was in the Pokemon world, he tried to speak with Delia. However, she never responded until he stood beside her, worrying him.

Delia: "Right. All boys leave home someday. It said so on TV. Oh, yes. Professor Oak, next door, was looking for you."

Jack was shaking in his shoes now. He instantly remembers that quote and wasn't prepared for what he thought was next. She responded the same way when he tried to say something different to her every time he tried.

With this new-found knowledge, he cursed. With his talk, no dialog with Delia, and weird movements, Jack knew he wasn't in a Pokemon world. No, he was trapped in a Pokemon game.
