Aliens invade earth, and find humanity to be ...annoyed? A comedic sci-fi novella with litRPG elements. On the surface, this story is a power fantasy. Pure, unapologetic wish-fulfillment. Though somewhat unconventionally, the protagonist is the sexy cat girl, and not the human man with the oversized flaming sword. In the background, this story explores what life would be like if you could have anything you wished for and how to find meaning when you have no challenges left. ...and why are the aliens all stereotypes that basically look like humans, anyway? Convergent evolution does not work this way, and the characters are aware of that. There may be more going on here than meets the eye. The alien species in this story have different cultural norms than we do, but they are far from the strangest thing that will appear. It's a self-aware action adventure and romantic comedy that tries to explore serious questions in a humorous manner. I am not planning to have any lewd scenes in this story, but it certainly goes in a direction where they would practically write themselves. Trigger Warnings: This story plays with gender norms and with storytelling tropes related to them. It also touches on sensitive subjects such as slavery. There will be deeper explanations for why this is happening later in the story, but until then some readers may consider this insensitive or crass.
