I don't want to Die.
Does anyone?
We line up on this Path of Life as we wait for the inevitable conclusion that draws ever closer.
The choice of Life and Death is not given to us, we, after all, are not fit to choose.
We are, according to Priests and Holymen "Sinful Creatures" inherently violent and selfish, cold and cruel yet still capable of "Great" things.
Idiots, all of them.

From the Church to the Scientists, Philosophers and Scholars. They are all naught but fools, drunk on they're own bloated egos and inflated pride. Men are creatures of Lies, of deceit and Hate, of the greatest Sin and greatest Pleasure. With my own eyes, I have seen our "Great" world, I have seen those who bleed in the shadows to supply the Fatman with his burger or the "Lady" with her new Purse. I have seen the children starve and be enslaved, sold off to the highest Bidder or beaten for being worthless. I have seen the Mother slit her son's throat, so there would be one less mouth to feed.
I have seen more the I care to remember, for Demons haunt my Dreams ever since I can remember.
I do not want to Die, I have accomplished nothing yet I have no regret. Only unease as I do not care to think of this as the End. I have never liked endings, I have grown to fear them but even now I still feel...calm.
All I know is that I refuse to Die, my Life has been too boring. Never once was I entertained, only pathetic schemes and even more pathetic words ever even aroused the slightest of my interest.
I want to live forever and I don't even know why.
The question is, what does Immortality entail?

On a forgotten Mountain of a forgotten World, the Wind began to blow.
The swirling wind brought dark clouds together in the Sky which no longer shone blue, but was instead a sickly pale gray that seemed to impose a shivering cold across the World.
The Gray Moutain stood in solidarity, towering far above the Land below in it's pale and penumbral light.
The World seemed to flicker, falling into such profound Darkness that one would begin to Question the mere existence of Light.
Amidst this polyphony of dark and light, a pillar of Silver arose.
It seemed to reach under the Earth and touch the Skies as grew revealing a faint shadow , kneeling and incircled by a crystal dome.
The last living creature on Earth opened his eyes.
