As we collapsed in the next room, gasping for breath, relief washed over us in fleeting waves. Ethan leaned heavily against the closed door, his voice trembling but reassuring, "That was too close, but phew we're safe now." His words were a brief, but the terror still clung to us like a shroud.
But before we could fully register the relief fully, a sudden, bone-chilling shriek pierced the air. The sound was unearthly, reverberating through the room and freezing us in place. A clawed appendage burst through the door, slicing through Ethan's chest with a sickening crunch. Blood gushed from his mouth as he looked at me with wide eyes, his voice a hoarse whisper, "G... go! Run!"
I screamed in horror, paralyzed by the sight of Ethan's life began to slip away before me. Blaze lunged forward to pull me away from the door, desperation and dread etched on his face, but I refused to let go of Ethan arm, they tried dragging me towards the next exit. "Leave him, Keinan! We have to go!" he shouted.
Tears streamed down my face as I reluctantly let go of Ethan hand, my gaze still lingered on Ethan's fading pair of eyes. The creature's claws then tore through him and the door like a piece of paper, splintering them both apart with savage force. It was so strong the door flew past my head onto the wall, the creature relentless force of malevolence was no joke. As it now hunted us all.
Then behind me I can hear Ajax and Blaze's hurried footsteps echoing and fading down the corridor, I then realized they had fucking left me alone. The darkness closed in around me, feeling suffocated and now alone. Fear began to gnaw at me, as I look at the creature inches away from me, I tightened my grip on a metal jagged pipe laying at my feet, a feeble weapon against the grotesque creature that had torn apart my brother Ethan.
The shadows danced ominously; every sound now seemed to amplify every little sound in the stillness. I was trapped with the creature's it haunting shrieks echoing in my ears. Uncertainty gripped me, but I knew I had to move, to find a way out, or to stand my ground and somehow survive this by myself.
My mind raced with fear as I stirred into the creature eyes. I knew I had no choice but to face it, since I won't make it to the door at this point, so it was useless to run. The creature circled around me, like it was playing with its food, like some twisted game.
The sight of Ethan's torn body behind it, made my blood boil, his lifeless body ripped apart in two, like a rag doll. The horror of it made me muster all my rage inside, my adrenaline was at its peak, and a wave of anger rushed into my body. But the creature's guttural growl snapped me back to the present. It lunged forward, its malformed limbs contorting unnaturally as it pounced at me with its claw appendage. I swung the pipe with some luck, I connected my strike with all my strength hitting the creature's claw as black liquid guised out of it. It let out a loud roar or more like a screech, it was for sure mad now. Because the creature body seemed to intensify it contorting signaling it felt pain. Then, as if fueled by rage, its razor-sharp claws slashed through the air, narrowly missing my face.

Each blow exchanged between us was a gamble with death. I ducked and weaved, adrenaline coursing through me, numbing the pain of my injuries. The creature's movements were erratic and unpredictable, fueled by a primal instinct to hunt and kill. I noticed that my strike earlier had left it in a state of rage, causing it to leave blind spots every time I ran in a zigzag pattern.
In a frenzied dance of survival, I managed to land several more strikes with the pipe, each one weakening the creature slightly. But in the midst of our deadly struggle, the creature's claws found their mark. I felt a searing pain as one of its claws tore through my flesh, slicing deep into my upper leg.
I stumbled back, clutching my bleeding leg, my strength waning. The creature closing in on me, sensing victory within its grasp. My vision became blurred, my breaths coming in ragged gasps. I knew I couldn't keep this up any longer.
But just as hope began to fade, something extraordinary happened. A surge of energy, tinged with a strange warmth, pulsed through my veins. My body trembled violently as I felt something change within me. The pain in my leg seemed to lessen, replaced by a strange, numbing sensation.
With a burst of energy and a sudden newfound strength, I dashed forward in a flash lunged my pipe, driving the pipe deep into the creatures between the eyes. The creature shrieked in agony, its twisted form convulsing violently before it came to a sudden stop then collapsing with a loud thud onto the ground.
Silence descended, broken only by the ragged sound of my labored breaths. I sank to my knees beside the fallen creature, my body trembling with exhaustion and disbelief. My leg throbbed with pain, but the wound was already starting to heal itself unbeknownst to me. I dragged my tired body to Ethan corpse as the pain and grief finally caught up to me.
But then my thoughts suddenly felt fragmented, like scattered puzzle pieces that refused to fit together. Swirling images and disjointed memories flashed through my mind—Ethan's face, the dark corridors of the G Wing, the piercing shriek of the creature. But they were fleeting far away from me.
My head began to spin, and an agonizing pain start to burst into my head, my vision began to blur, my legs giving way beneath me. Darkness closed in around the edges of my consciousness as I fought to stay sane. The world spun dizzily; sounds muffled as if i was underwater.
With my remaining energy, I began to crawl my ways onward, every movement was a struggle against the encroaching exhaustion. The hallway stretched endlessly before me, its silence deafening, broken only by the echo of my labored breaths as i kept crawling. Shadows danced at the periphery of my vision, contorting into grotesque shapes that seemed to mock my faltering state.
My strength waned, betraying me at the worst moment. The sensation was fleeting, quickly replaced by a creeping numbness that started to engulf me. I fought to keep my eyes open, fixating on the flickering light above me, casting a sinister shadow across the corridor.
As I teetered on the brink of unconsciousness, the dim glow of G Wing's lights became my only anchor to reality. Uncertainty loomed, memories scattered and fragmented like ashes scattered by the wind. The cold air brushed past my skin, punctuated only by the shallow rasp of my breaths. Darkness enveloped me, offering a fragile refuge from the unseen terrors that lurked just beyond my perception.
And there, in that dimly lit corridor, I surrendered to the unknown. I sensed something sinister within me, a faint whisper saying, "Hihihi, don't worry boy, I got you." My vision blurred, and the world around me started to fade. The last thing I heard was the echo of my own heartbeat, slow and ominous, before everything went dark...
