Hello! It's been a long time, hasn't it? Unfortunately, this isn't a new chapter. I thought about waiting and doing a big release for this story, but ultimately decided that it was better to give my readers something sooner, rather than waiting for an indeterminate later. What I have to offer that is (hopefully) exciting is a new story!
A Place to Belong
I'm sure many of you would prefer that I continue with this story instead of working on another, and I do apologize for the long wait. I never meant to leave everyone hanging, especially after so many people have been so kind to me and my story, despite all its flaws. I want to once again reiterate that I will be continuing this story, which is the other part of the good news, my health has finally improved!
During my break between semesters I went back home and my doctor did some very comprehensive bloodwork. The result is I now know I have a rather severe hormonal imbalance of what's basically a type of steroid. Normal people range from about 50-350, and my levels are over 700, so yeah. I was also electrically charged, which might have been messing with my brain and potentially zapping my electronics.

What all this means is I feel much better, and consequently am able to start writing again. My doctor said it should take 2-3 months to completely fix my problems, but even a few weeks into my treatment I feel like a new person. I'm now back in Japan, and I now feel confident that I can write at least a few thousand words a week on a consistent basis, if not a lot more.
I have another 40 or so pages of my new story already written which I will be releasing shortly, maybe in a week or so. While I plan to focus more on that one for the moment, I do plan to continue with Exponential Mana Regeneration, with my plan being to at least finish the first book in the (hopefully) nearish future.
I really can't state enough how much better I feel, and I look forward to continuing to write things on RRL for people to read. Thank you all for the continued support during my absence. All those comments asking about my health really mean a lot to me. I never would have written as much as I have without the support of the people on this site.
With all that said, thank you all, and now back to doing what you all want me to do: more writing.
