In the dark hall where the hooded figures had once gathered, there now stood a single hooded figure observing a map, depicting images like a crystal ball. He looked as the Homo Sapiens arrived from their spawn point, their confusion and dismay. He saw as individuals decided to explore the forest, while many were content to stay near the spawning point. He saw as the Manifestations of Fear slowly found the individual Homo Sapiens in the forest that had explored the moment they arrived, and slowly started to prey on those leaving the field. More and more starting to surround the Homo Sapien spawn point, the humans unaware that they had been surrounded, not even noticing that most of the humans that decided to explore never returned. And again, he saw, the Homo Sapiens had the discussion of getting into groups to look for food and water. He saw as they split up into groups leaving behind those less willing and able to.
He saw the ambush, near the southern part of the field, soldiers opening fire as one of their comrades got impaled by a monster. He saw how the groups became alarmed by the sudden gunfire, and how that same gunfire prompted other monsters hidden to ambush the rest of the groups. As the groups fled, the monsters turned their attention to the Homo Sapiens still at the spawning point. Some of the members of the forage parties from the southern side of the forest fled towards the meadow, monsters following them. And he quickly noticed how the raw animalistic power of those irrational civilly, yet rational criminally, quickly found flaws within the monsters and used that knowledge to dispatch a small group of them without casualties.

Yet the monsters became quickly drawn to the noise of gunfire coming from the field, as monsters originally pursuing the forage groups had given up and had started towards the field where the gunfire was heard from. During the chaos one of Homo Sapiens distinguished himself far more than the others and the hooded figure noticed his loss of family, as well as the actions he took to protect his family. Out of everyone else, this old man was very interesting.
As the last of the Homo Sapiens fled from their very point of spawning, the hooded figure noted that this was indeed a fall of humanity, jeopardizing the survival of the rest of the species, as the Homo Sapiens that would continue to spawn would be harvested by the Manifestations of Fear, allowing for them to evolve from the nutrients the humans would provide. Objectively speaking, the hooded figure concluded that retaking the spawning point and thus securing a future for the Homo Sapiens would be extremely hard to accomplish. The hooded figure leaned against the platform which the map was within, his hands clasped against his face, his elbows atop the edge of the platform.
