The status window. When humans first started evolving a mysterious systematic window appeared. Displaying stats that broke the limits of the impossible. It all started three-thousand years ago. The First Era, it was chaotic, the government couldn't suppress the information about how supernatural occurrences kept happening.
People were appearing with superpowers like wildfire—abilities such as light manipulation, strength enhancement, super regeneration, accuracy increase, and such appeared. Those powers broke records, unbalancing what was called 'fair' in many ways. When people realized powers dominated and out ruled the so-called 'money is power', people with ill intentions started to doubt the previous system and started changing everything.
Their world was called Staria, a planet as normal as an ant in a tiny bunch in the colony. When superpowers appear in a regular world what do you think happens? What happens is chaos, a world with a big change that can't be stopped. Many people started making organizations, out ruling those who were just straight rich to people who were just regular civilians by their powers.
The strong ruled, strength proves everything. The government tried, but they could not do anything, a change that was inevitable was taking place and bending the rules of the rule. It took two hundred years, those years accumulated years of new rulers and downfall of previous ones. After two-hundred-years, the world became only a world the strong could inherit and after so became a world with 'order' and 'peace'.
Everything changed and so after things started to settle down, the group called the Cynical Order became the powers that ruled the skies and the rules of the world. They were the strongest, as proves only the strong can rule, this wasn't to prove that corruption of power is the way, but how authority should be decided by the strong, not by wealth.
After three millenniums after we are now here, a world filled with so many possibilities. The Cynical Order brought justice to the corrupt of pure wealth and established peace and justice. But there was still a flaw, a flaw in which the strong abused their power. Drug trafficking, human trafficking, all resulted from human greed. Even after so long there were still people like those.
To prevent the unjust The Cynical Order made a system where people with potential power trained to become even stronger giving high rewards to bestow justice and fight the evils that abuse their supernatural powers. The system in which for every generation came the newly strong and peerless, striking the shadows that reside in society.
The system was called The Hero association, schools were insignificant, the system was what truly set the path for the strong and justice. And so, Fahallan didn't really care for he knew this system wasn't the strongest. There encompassed an even stronger system 'The Gales of Blood' a group of people where they strive to become stronger in any way possible, even if it wasn't morally right. A group where even The Cynical Order couldn't control them, armies of 'snakes' that slither in the shadows.
Fahallan didn't believe in the morals of The Cynical Order, he believed that such was only a barrier to prevent the way of becoming even stronger. He loathed The Cynical Order, they think that weak stay as weak, those with no potential stay there at the same spot. Fahallan knew this, he was Graded rank F in his power, he knew he was weak, but he knew if he was weak he could only try ways to break such a barrier even if that meant going against the rules.

As Fahallan kept looking at his status, he could only say one thing, he was too weak. Having only forty-three in his overall stats, he knew the intelligence he had wasn't significant because everything needed to be taken account of. Which were his ability level, energy, and strength, but he had his limits. Fahallan had trained his strength to its highest-peaking at eight other than his intelligence and strength his ability lacked and couldn't get past the third level. The average student in high school should have fifteen at most on all stats totaling about ninety or a hundred in the ability score.
Knowing this he still kept training and cultivating his ability. when one was put in any school they were given a cultivating technique in which they could gather energy and enhance their ability levels. These were admitted to every school to polish those people with extraordinary abilities to rise and become stronger for their generation to shine, and after joining The Hero association to become even more fierce and strong.
As Fahallan finally arrived at his rundown apartment he opened his suite and entered. Entering his home he immediately walked into his small kitchen before he kneeled down and pulled out a big glass square container filled with holes from the bottom cupboards. What appeared inside the container was nine hornets and a queen he caught a month ago. Using his bug control he was able to strugglingly change the mindset of the hornets and force them to live in the glass container whilst providing them fruits as nutrition.
Fahallan struggled just being able to control them so the only thing he was able to do that was a permanent change was their brain, with his energy it took every energy he stored for two months for this experiment. Fahallan regularly used his ability to gain great insights even being able to change their behavior in a way, but not close to evolution. Evolution and mutation, that was what Fahallan started experimenting on. For every level, a persons' ability level increases one's ability to become more capable of using less energy and enhances knowledge of uses.
"Dammit, still nothing I've been doing this for two months and I still can't mutate my ability to change their genetics and evolve them." Displeased with the results he knew it wasn't easy to mutate his ability to be able to change their genetics, he used so much energy every day about ninety-percent. Right now he was using his ability whilst imagining the anatomy of the hornets and their instincts. Sweating profusely he was consuming five percent every second as he said in his head, 'hornets! hornets! hornets!' While in this state he was looking at everything he learned about bugs and every part they developed through evolution. Suddenly, one of the hornets started flying frantically and hitting the inside of the container.
Slamming and buzzing its wings crazily sped faster and faster, suddenly right after the hornet's stinger came out it was elongated looking like a crimson bloody steel needle. The hornet suddenly, charged at the glass container and immediately pierced its stinger into it, surprisingly shattering the glass. Suddenly, Fahallan felt dizzy and blood spurted out of his mouth he was using too much energy. He knew this was the last experiment he was willing to bet his life to become stronger, he had to give it his all. He suddenly roared in pain, he was spurting blood everywhere. When he was about to collapse he suddenly heard a voice ring out in his head and a window popped up.
