Chapter 06: The Unsuspecting Hunter That Lay Hidden Where You Least Expect
oOo
Without the need for further much deliberation, I then immediately picked the body modification mutational body part {Additional Tadpole Foot Bone} as my free mutation upgrade, out of the two given options.
As I already have a pair of back hind legs already. I could then easily used the tip of my own tadpole toes to actually touch and physically interact with the World System Message interface screen panel floating in front of me. So I did just as that, as I then pressed upon {Additional Tadpole Foot Bone} option with my own toe.
World System Message You have chosen the body modification mutation body part {Additional Tadpole Foot Bone} as your free upgrade. You have acquired the body modification mutation body part {Additional Tadpole Foot Bone[0/10]} Since you have chosen the body modification mutation body part {Additional Tadpole Foot Bone} as your free upgrade. The alternative option {Extended Tadpole Foot Bone} body modification mutation body part will thereby be locked for now, until further notice, and it will cost 10 Biogrowth Points to actually unlock it for it to be useable!
And after completely maxing out two Tier 1 body modification body part fortification upgrades, I then steadily run out of necessary useable Biogrowth Points. So I then began to steadily restart my long grinding session of consuming Pond Algae and Duckweed in order to gain experience points and level up, and also amass a large number of Biogrowth Points.

Sometime later, after a couple of minutes of grinding into my supposed-to-be long hours of grinding sessions, I then suddenly come across a sudden new discovery that had me completely befuddled and somewhat confused.
*Ding!*
It was then that I immediately heard the sounds of the World System's message notification steadily ringing withinside my own head, as a blue holographic display screen interface panel then later appeared in front of me, thereby showing me my current rate of progress.
World System Message You have consumed 50 grams of Pond Algae. It has steadily been converted into 0.1 Biogrowth Points by the World System! * * * You have consumed enough Pond Algae for your {Small Tadpole Stomach} to then convert it into experience points. You have gained 1 experience point! You have 1.3 Unused Biogrowth Points available!
World System Message You have successfully killed a {Lv.3 Pond Algae Glorb}, thereby gaining 6 experience points! You have fulfilled the necessary conditions to have obtained the first killing title {First Blood}!
Title Screen Title Name: First Blood Title Rarity: Grade One Title Acquisition Condition: Directly or indirectly be the one to deal a final killing blow to a living organism of life form. Title Beneficial & Negative Effects: +1 Strength, +1 Agility, +1 Defense, +1 Willpower attribute stats
I thought so towards myself, ('Pond Algae Glorb! What is a {Pond Algae Glorb exactly}?') Whilst, trying to make some assumptions and guesses towards the identity of this so-called {Pond Algae Glorb} monster exactly.
('The {Pond Algae Glorb} is most likely just a living mass of Pond Algae that somehow managed to fortunately gained sentience through steadily amassing a vast amount of mana over time. So great enough that it is able steadily transformed an ordinary aquatic plant body into a living sentient breathing aquatic plant monster.) I thought so to myself.
*Ding!*
It was then that I suddenly heard the sounds of the World System's message notification steadily ringing withinside my own head, as a blue holographic display screen interface panel then later appeared in front of me, thereby confirming my suspicions to be true.
World System Message
Due to the user having correctly guessed and somehow figured out about the origins of the {Pond Algae Glorb}. You have instead been awarded with 1 Intelligence attribute stats point from the System!
('For accurately guessing and successfully deducing the origin of how the {Pond Algae Glorb} suddenly came to be, then come into existence. I then managed to be awarded with 1 intelligence attribute stats points by the World System. I can certainly say that it is a pretty much a done and good deal, if I say so myself.') I thought.
However, the rarity of the aquatic plant type monster {Pond Algae Glorb} can be considered to be an extremely rare find, after a nonstop hour of grinding or two. Only two to three confirmed {Pond Algae Glorb} actually showed up, as this steadily proves how rare of a living specimen the {Pond Algae Glorb} is.
The aquatic plant type monster {Pond Algae Glorb} does not actually reproduce through the normal asexual method of reproduction, thereby requiring male and female plant gamete, but rather via the process of cell mitosis, similar towards the process of cloning, thereby producing completely identical offsprings that are completely symmetrical in DNA and makeup to their own biological parents.

The aquatic plant-type monster {Pond Algae Glorb} would then forcefully split off a small piece of the {Pond Algae Glorb}'s main body mass. And before long, the little piece of an {Pond Algae Glorb} would then steadily gained its own individuality and sentience, completely separate of its own original {Pond Algae Glorb}'s main body self.
*Ding!*
I then suddenly heard the sounds of the World System's message notification steadily ringing withinside my own head, as a blue holographic display screen interface panel then later appeared in front of me, after my nonstop hour-long grinding session for some Biogrowth Points.
World System Message You have consumed 50 grams of Pond Algae. It has steadily been converted into 0.1 Biogrowth Points by the World System! You have consumed 30 grams of Duckweed. It has steadily been converted into 0.1 Biogrowth Points by the World System! * * * You have consumed enough Pond Algae for your {Small Tadpole Stomach} to then convert it into experience points. You have gained 1 experience point! You have successfully killed an {Lv.2 Pond Algae Glorb}, thereby gaining 4 experience points! You have successfully killed an {Lv.1 Pond Algae Glorb}, thereby gaining 2 experience points! You have successfully killed an {Lv.3 Pond Algae Glorb}, thereby gaining 6 experience points! You have 4.6 Unused Biogrowth Points available!

Whilst, I was steadily preoccupied with eating Pond Algae and Duckweed, to steadily amass large amounts of Biogrowth Points and experience points in order to level up. Something that is not quite big or too small, but is extremely agile withinside open waters then immediately swam itself towards me.
It then steadily approaches me from well behind, hidden withinside my own blind spot, and away from my own field of vision. And it was only near inches away from my current location, where even the most smallest movements of body water can instead change, alter, and generate the speed of an actual water current. And sound & vibrations would often travel much faster within open water than in air, as the water molecules would then steadily collide with each other, and then transfer their potential kinetic energy.
('Huh! What is that? Is something steadily approaching towards me?') I thought so towards myself, as my {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} body then steadily detected the movement of something fast and agile steadily approaching towards me. As there are constant shaking within the still body of water.
However, it was already too late, when I finally took notice of the presence that steadily crept up from behind me. As I then tried to turn my {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} body around to instead get a good look at what they look like and who I'm potentially dealing with, but it was too late.
As I turned my head and upper {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} body around, as I then immediately saw something that somewhat resembles like the head of an actual ghostly tadpole, but with actual teeths. Presumably, a member of my own kind, or somehow someone who is originally a part of the same batch of hatched ghostly tadpole eggs.
('What the...') I thought so towards myself, way before I could even logically complete the sentence withinside my own head, the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster had already taken a big bite of my {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} body.
The newly recently grown teeths of the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster then immediately sunk into the soft flesh of my {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} body, as I then winced outwards in great pain, whilst screaming internal inside of my own head. ('Ugh!')
However, I then immediately powered through the intense pain of being bitten by a fellow brethren of my own kind, through pure determination, strong resolve, and willpower. With my pair of somewhat developed back hind legs, I then grabbed ahold of the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole}'s own body, as it showed no signs of resistance or then offered the least bit of struggle towards being grabbed, whilst arrogantly thinking that it has already won the match by having successfully bit me.
But, how wrong it definitely is, as I'm definitely not going down without putting up a damn fight or as much as not making it a whole lot easier for an undeserving brethren of mine to kill me. So I then instinctively activated my {Retractible Tadpole Feet Bone Spike} body part, whilst still latching onto the surface of the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole}'s own body.
The two bone spike portrusion that is steadily attached to the ends of my pair of ghostly tadpole feet, was slightly stabbing into the skin and flesh of the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole}'s own body when I was still latching on to it.
So when I actually activated my {Retractible Tadpole Feet Bone Spikes} body part, the bony spike protrusion that steadily lay beneath my pair of back tadpole feet then immediately grew longer, elongating, and quickly pierces into the soft body and the flesh of the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole}'s own body.
Afterwards, I then immediately activated my unique racial exclusive active combative skill {Venom Sting}, as I called out the name of the skill out loud withinside my own head.
('{Venom Sting}!') I called out the name of skill out loud withinside my own head.
World System Message You have activated the active combative skill {Venom Sting}. A small dosage of Venom/Person has thereby been injected into the designated target's body! The designated target has been poisoned with a [Low Grade 1★ {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} Poison]. The target's HP (Health Point) is steadily decreasing at a slow and unsteady rate!
After having injected the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster's own body with my [Low Grade 1★ {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} Poison], as I then immediately withdrew my pair of long boney spike protrusion needles out from the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster's body after I've done administering the poison.
However, that rash and quite hasty decision, of withdrawing my bone needles, upon my own part will soon then come back to bite me up on the spot. As the [Low Grade 1★ {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} Poison] is hardly having much effect upon the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster's own body, apart from only physically decreasing the target health and stamina points at a slower rate due to how weak and low the grade level of toxicity it is.
('Well, Damnit! The dosage of poison is too low and weak to physically have a strong effect upon the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster's own body.') I thought so towards myself, whilst steadily cursing deeply withinside, as I then steadily stared at the {Two-Legged Feral Claw Ghostly Tadpole} monster who then steadily got up, and reacted negatively, after having been injected with my [Low Grade 1★ {Two-Legged Poison Ghostly Tadpole} Poison].
