"About a thousand years ago, the War of Neoclasra came to an end..."

This is a story that my father had told me many times due to my requests. Is it because I feel nostalgic about it?

"The war was not pretty... It had lasted over a hundred years and punished us with many casualties."

His tone when reading me the story of this war was full of sadness, but with a hint of hope.

"The empire that ruled over the majority of our world was known as the Oshoka Empire, located in South Sentoraru. As you should know, that continent is also the land of the demons. However, before the war ended, the North and South Sentoraru's lands were one large landmass, and it was only referred to as Sentoraru, not following either North or South."

Although they are separate lands nowadays, on the opposite side of the world as the other, they are still both North and South Sentoraru...

"Emperor Oshoka Andoryuu II was a very corrupt ruler, similarly to the rest of Oshoka's leaders. Unlike the others, however, he actually was formidable back then. His reputation as a leader in the public eye was great, but in private, he would negotiate and have demons lend help to their side of the war. It was a war crime..."

The nostalgic part of this story is coming up. I have no idea why I feel that way towards it- even the first time I heard it I felt like that...

"The final battle didn't even see its own beginning. Even though the Oshoka Empire had planned to have demons assist in this battle, they'd all just be wiped out. No remains of their bodies... This is because of-"

The Entity.

Is what people call the human-like figure with immense power. Their whole body was engulfed in a burning white flame, with a dark aura surrounding them. Unfortunately, they disappeared after ending the war, which I'll tune in my father's story as to when and why...

"Right as they were going to war, time suddenly froze. The Entity appeared in the middle of the premature battlefield, and 7 crystals were pulled out from the ground with strong magic. Once the crystals started revolving around The Entity, they started glowing with a bright, white light, emitting a sharp humming noise. Electrical currents of divine mana formed between each crystal, causing a large-scale earthquake. The wind had gotten stronger, blowing away all but humans. A radiant beam of light came from the ground below and the sky above The Entity, expanding its radius across the whole world. Everyone experienced some moments of being inside the light, although nobody remembers what was in there. What we do know, however, is that all villains of the war were eradicated, nothing left of them to find..."

For some reason, when I hear that previous part of the story, that same wave of nostalgia hits me...

"The Entity had also disappeared when the light had evaporated. People in the battlefield had noticed that it was replaced with an ocean. Those who were a part of Oshoka Empire were left to rot in what's known as South Sentoraru, the land of demons..."

That was the only story covering the War of Neoclasra... Written by an ancestor of our family.
