The fierce boss wolf loomed menacingly over Spencer as they met eye to eye. The six following wolfs quickly Spread out to surround all of his escape paths leaving the boss and him in the center.
"Damn. Am I gonna die right after my rebirth" Spencer thought has he looked down on his small green hands and skinny figure. "But then again its better to die than live as a disgusting monster. right?" he tried consoling himself in the face of certain death.
Memories started to fill his head about his past life as he recalled the World of Acadia where he was once hailed as a hero who was destined to slay the Dragon Lord who had brought destruction upon the world. He remembered all his companions that had fought and died by his side on that great quest. Along with all the people he had failed to save and how their loved ones blamed their deaths upon him. Lastly he recalled his final moments after he defeated the Dragon Lord, how he was chained and bound by the people he fought to save, paraded through the streets, mocked and blamed for the existence of the Dragon Lord coming into being.
"The Sword Hero, Spencer Reed, you are herby condemned to death for bringing the existence of the Dragon Lord into our World. Your very existence created the threat in which roused the fury of the Dragon Lord upon this world and caused all this death, you also failed to defeat the Dragon Lord, a problem which you caused. How do you plead to these crimes?" A fat middle aged man in Priest attire proclaimed on a execution scaffold.
Spencer was stripped of all his clothing and chained while in a kneeling Position in front of the man with his head down. He had dark silver hair cascaded down his face covering it, his body was toned to the limits and covered with scars he had received from his many battles. Hearing the man's proclamation he started to laugh hysterical.
"HaahHaaaahaaaHaaaaa.....To think I fought so hard to save scum like you, if I weren't weakened after the fight with the Dragon Lord how could you pathetic bunch who only know how to pray beat me, I sacrificed EVERYTHING for all of you, yet you all back these hypocrite priest! Where were they when the Dragon Lord descended upon Ganna? Where were they when its citizens fled and needed refuge?! You blame the death of your loved ones on me, but I've lost people too!" He screamed furiously towards the crowd sweeping his hatred filled gaze upon their wretched faces. All the people in the crowd went silent as they looked at each other at a loss of words.

"Enough, you have a glib tongue Sword Hero, but that still does not excuse you from being the main reason that the Dragon Lord waged war against humanity, so you must now pay for you crimes with your dead" an old man remarked.
He had a full set of white hair and a gentle face, he wore a white priest robe with intricate golden designs on the cuffs and collar indicating his high status in the church. He walked on to the scaffold has he accused Spencer once more of his crimes. Looking down on the once esteemed hero he scoffed and turned to address the crowd.
"If not for the existence of this so called hero, our kingdom would not have been attacked by the Dragon Lord has he would not have been felt threatened by us, his existence led to the death of thousands of our poor citizen and for that he must pay" the old man said righteously as he scanned the crowd looking for a certain individual, spotting his target he nodded slightly as if sending a signal. The man he nodded at quickly pushed his way to the front has he started yelling.
"Archbishop Levinon is right, he must pay for all the deaths caused by this tragic war, if not for him many of our loved ones would be with us today" the man shouted as he send a slight nod to another man who also yelled out his own rethoric. "It his all the Sword Hero's fault" he added and just like that the crowded started roaring once more condemning their hero to his death.
Spencer watched has he mourned at the idiocy of these common folk, they were being played by the Church yet failed to see it. The Church had offered little to no assistance during the early stages of the great War, yet when they saw the tide turning in the favor of humanity they quickly got to work building their prestige among the common folk and condemning the heroes. Fearing the loss of their authority if the hero succeeded in slaying the Demon Lord they send their full force to ambush Spencer after his catastrophic battle with the Dragon Lord. While Spencer was drained and exhausted after the battle, the Great Army of the Church descended upon him and defeated him, they then took credit of the Demon Lords Demise and bounded Spencer and accused him for failing to stop the Dragon Lord. Even if he told them he was the one to defeat the Dragon Lord none of these brain washed folks would believe him, so he just hung his head in defeat.
The executioner approached him with a big Golden Axe, he lifted the axe into the sky and brought it back down with great momentum onto spencers neck. Spencer felt the scent of death approaching has he thought.
"NEVER AGAIN WILL I FIGHT FOR SUCH FOOLISH CREATURES!"
