Another day went by, and the mother snake noticed that the egg hasn't hatched yet, even though she could still sense that there was life inside. She also observed that her baby snake with five heads was starting to feel hungry.

In just one day, the mother snake had already made the five-headed baby snake feel comfortable and close to her. This way, she made sure that the Scaleweaver clan couldn't separate them and she could live in a safe place and she could get resources to reach lv 7. The mother snake was considering giving up on the egg, because it was taking too long to hatch. She wanted to prioritize the safety of Hydra and her and wanted to live in a safe environment with cultivation resources.

She quickly abandoned that thought, as their species don't take care of baby snakes, because they can't maintain the food supply to take care of them and with the baby comes responsibility l, which she has already taken for one and she doesn't want to take for another one.

In the end, she made the difficult choice to abandon the egg. She thought that the chances of any of her baby snakes reaching level 7 are very low as only 1 in 1000 having that opportunity to reach lv 7 before dying.
